Alright, everybody just shut up. First off, neither of the actors did better than the other, Cesar was great, Jack was great, Heath was great, hell, even Mark Hamil was great. NONE of them sucked, each brought their own style to the table. The only way the actor playing Joker would suck would be if the performance diden't make you laugh. I swear, watching from Cesar all the way to Heath I was laughing at each performance. By the way, Cesar was great, he wasen't Gay as a previous comment said.

You got to keep in mind that Cesar Romero was 60 years old when he played the Joker. he was old enough to be Adam West's father and Adam was around 40 at the time of this Batman show. Romero was incredible and one of the most agile 60 year old men I've ever seen

I was not impressed with nicholson's performance either, I don't blame romero. It's a shame that the Joker in the latest batman remake died so young. Can't wait to go see it though.

Romero had a slight italian/spanish accent in the batman episodes, even though he was born and raised in New York. I guess the directors told him to exaggerate his cuban background and sound foreign for some reason, much like they told the guy who played Chekov to do the same. Even though Chekov was from Ohio.

I don't understand why there's a need to compare who's the best of 3 different actors who played him in different eras? The zany and fun side of the 60s fit for Caesar's take, Tim Burton and Jack gave the public a new twisted look on the one they were used to for so long, and today, with this Batman we're given, the character would have to fit the depth and demands for something just as dark, if not darker. If one thing in a franchise evolves, the rest must follow.

Romero did something that the actors following him did not. They did crazy laughs and sinister laughs. What Romero had was his trademark ANGRY laugh. A good example is just prior to one of these excerpts where the paintings get switched. He's livid over the foiled plot but appreciates the joke.

Another good laugh-while-pissed moment is when he's tricked with a plastic model Batcave. He simultaneously screams with rage and laughs, both literally in the very same breath. Superb performance!

If you look closely you'll see that his mustache was 'caked' with the white face paint that he wore.
