  • i know its wrong and horrible but i love to watch gymnastic wipe outs because for some reason their hilarious

  • 0:27

  • IKNOW SHE FEEL STUPID

  • nice spotting dude

  • shit happens in life then you take a shower

  • Sportsnetwork has an annoying knack for focusing on the wrong things at the wrong time. And packaging them in a rather unprofessional manner for shock value. "face plants"?

  • she has a nice ass, i mean shes got that going for her..

  • The broadcaster jinxed her when he was talking about how Romanians were champions.

  • My stomach hurts now

  • @sour11b ?

  • she didnt drive her toes up long enough

  • the titles are so mean but so funny ;]

  • she looks like shes 10!!!

  • She looks like she could make one hell of a belly flop.

  • Nah, she was just planking :D

  • this title is very offensive

  • @crunchcost why?

  • Are people retarded? The coach did the RIGHT thing. What she did here doesn't hurt at all, all the coach did was make sure her body was flat when she hit the ground which hurts the least and is the safest.

  • 6 people gave the catcher a great score

  • Guys stop ratting out on the spotter! They're not ALWAYS supposed to catch the gymnast! They're really just supposed to make sure that the gymnasts lands on the ground safely. The spotter did his job.

  • quit ripping on the goddamn spotter!! he did his job, and made sure she didn't land with an arched back or on her neck. the spotters are there to make sure their falls are cushioned; NOT to physically catch them. that could be dangerous to.

  • The spotter did a good job actually, imagine if he would've caught her - her back would've arched really bad, and it could've easily broke. He did the right thing, because he only made sure she was falling flat to the ground and not in any other way.

  • Ameila: 8.275, Spotter: 2.275.

  • This guy needs a gold metal in spotting.

  • stop ripping on the spotter he was making sure she landed straight so she didn't HURT HERSELF. really people, cmon!!

  • The guy caught her on the ground...

  • ouch i still think she's very good though =D

  • "That would be a full nose off."

  • @FatNoyGe0rge @johnydeppmanic her coach doesn't catch them they are there to know if the gymnast is gooing to land flat, if he catch her she can break something in her body. And that is a smart coach ;)

  • "And everybody... Oooh yikes!" lol

  • The funny thing is that the guy was talking how the romainians are champions, then she falls.

  • crap.

  • the spotter did a perfectly good job making sure she landed flat so she wouldn't break her back. thats really one of the safest and most "correct" falls there is in gymnastics

  • Just saying, us gymnasts are actually taught to fall like that..

  • I would've stood up and acted like the routine was done.

  • @athleteization that'd be hilarious lolol

  • @athleteization definetely :)

  • @athleteization why? the judges have sitting right in front of them what your soppost to do

  • thanks alot Mr. spotter

  • @slingsh0t96, your right. She got a full point off on that release, but if her coach caught her, that would count as a spot, which would be a full point AND a five tenth deduction.

  • Um, the reason the spotter was there was the prevent her from seriously injuring herself if a fall goes wrong, not from falling when she'll be fine landing. If he would have caught her falling the way that she was, he very likely could have broken her back in trying to counteract the forces going down. It was safer for her to fall like that then it was for him to literally catch her.

  • honestly why do they have spotters, I've watched a lot of falls on youtube and the spotter rarely does a thing but watch the girl fall, so why do they even stand there?? it just makes no sense!!!!!!

  • @Brooklyn20

So the gymnast has a bit more confidence and will go more for the release.

Also because the one time the spotter ISN'T there it's guaranteed the gymnast will have a disaster (see: Youna Dufournet.)

  • @Brooklyn20 thier there so they can catch them if there not falling right. if he caught her then he could have broken her ribs or worse

  • The spotter was like should I catch said yes for a half of second put his hand out to catch her but then decided that he didn't need to.

  • good spotting dude!!

  • good catch

  • SPLAT:o)

  • He didn't try to help her up...

I know he didn't have to catch her, but couldn't he have given her a hand for a few seconds?

  • he knew she wasn't gonna catch it

  • to bad there wasn't a spotter!

  • That's a pretty common fall in the world of gymnastics...

  • She didn't face plant, you idiots. And you people are just rude to put that as the title.

  • The coach is there to prevent serious injury. Gymnasts know how to fall when they do releases. The reason the coach did not catch her was because he could have hurt her more and that she was falling correctly and was not at risk of serious injury.

  • hahahahahhhahahahahahah

  • @AnerchX what if this happened to you? would you be laughing then?

  • @LMA629

Don't take it so seriously, if I was her the only reason I would be upset is because it was in competition. Falling like this is much less painfull than say, missing a hand in a pak salto or splitting the beam. As long as the body position is kept tight (which one would naturally do competing at this level) then it doesn't feel as bad as it looks.

  • @luv4cookie1 yeah, good point. why do they even do it?

  • owww, that's probably like doing a belly flop, it hurts and it knocks the wind right out of you.! poor girl, i thought the spotters were supposed the CaTcH the gymnast...

  • @loveetwilight69 it happens so fast but really she was so high he could of easily caught her, just like how the coach stands behind the low bar when gymnast do a hect, it's completley useless

  • nice catch there coach

  • this is mean, but still very funny.

  • @onoaptelunga

Arent u nice u stupid stereotyper?

  • Id totally tap that ;)

  • that spotter sux

  • @onoaptelunga This channel sucks haha it's like run by a kid who can't spell! She doesn't even face plant, and they put up crashes, not routines, and they put them up like a week after the competition, what good is it to people who missed the coverage? Just biased video after biased video. Better off watching the usagymnasticsorg (individual routines, official USAG channel) channel or olympicgymnasticsusa (unofficial, full coverage).

  • E?

    PFU

  • @onoaptelunga um, there are plenty of videos of Romanians doing well. Stereotype much?

  • UMMPFF!!!

  • the coach is there to make sure she doesn't fall on her head, not to catch her. she knows how to fall, and she's used ot it!! you can't catch one of those releases until you've fallen trying a whole lot of times

  • Wow, crap spotting. Great job coach

  • Uh, nice catch. Maybe you should go back and sit on the bench and eat hot dogs.

  • Ouch.

  • why was the guy standing there, for show? If he was there to help catch her then he should really get his job checked!

  • little boobies

  • @iamthegun little brain

  • @randomness132 and huge cock

  • @iamthegun pervert child molester.

  • Its comforting to know that the coach cant do anything NOT

  • ROFL they dominated? Then she smashed her face into the mat rofl. I'm sorry that's funny but at the same time disappointing.

  • ooo that sucks! i feel so bad! she made is sooo far and one little miss ruins everything!

  • what's the point of having the spotters there? they NEVER catch them if they fall.

  • @leeny11 its to keep them from catastrophic injury, the way she fell is actually how you are supposed to fall from the high bar in that case, a lot of gymnast practice falling to get use to knowing how to fall properly in the incident of it happening to prevent yourself from injury, if he had caught her stomach like he started to he could have caused injury to her back from the force falling into that one point, while being spread out straight on the floor like she landed you dont feel anything

  • CRAP spotting right there ...

  • lol i'm so glad her coach caught her

  • haha he didnt really catch her though...

  • @wooster08 thank you captain obvious, it's called sarcasm, you should try it sometime ;)

  • gosh bitchy much? how are we suppose to kno ur being sarcastic, b/c he tried to catch her even tho he didnt, he tried and still was holding on to her as she fell so...

  • @gymnasticsfan14 lol not bitchy, i thought it was pretty clear that he DIDN'T catch her....lolol

  • @gymnasticsfan14 a video entitled "gymnasts face plants off uneven bars" should make it pretty clear that the coach did not catch her...lolol some people need to work on their critical thinking skills lollll

  • well maybe so ppl dont kno or understand, it kind of hard to understand sarcasaism through typing anyways.

  • Such a shame, she was really good. Not rushing through it at 100mph like most!

  • Good catch the spotter made there.

  • @FatBoyGe0rge it could actually be worse for the gymnast if the spotters were to actually try to catch them.

  • @FatBoyGe0rge =))

  • @FatBoyGe0rge That would've been worse if he caught her...

  • that's not a face plant

  • its more like a belly flop

  • ow...shes really good though

  • haaahaaaa lol lol

  • um well.. OUCH

  • as bad as that looked I have been told that Gymnasts are taught how to fall so they don't injure themselves...?

  • @Carpentersfan2003 yes that is true

i actually do this release and i hav fallen like that and it does not hurt at all....as long as u fall jus like that haha

  • yup its true. If you've ever seen Vanessa Atler's beam routine at the 2000 olympic trials, her foot slipped off the beam in the middle of her dismount and she rotated her body so she wouldnt land on her head or neck.

  • the guy that was talking.. his name is Tim Daggett and he coaches at the gym i go to lol. i didn't know that he like... goes everywhere to talk about gymnastics!

  • haha!

  • face parallel to ground

  • it really doesn't hurt that bad. and there's not much a coach can do if it's not something a gymnast normally does

  • I feel reaaalllyyy bad for her because she has trie so hard and then her hopes are gone. and toyahbabe if that happened to you I dont think you would be laughing, cause your just being a brat!

  • Wow she was sooooo close!

  • ooo yikes

  • ???????

  • lol that was funny, and then all the commentator said was, that will be 4points off. hehe :) didnt look like it hurt that uch thou, but u never know,.....

  • its not 4 points its a full point you dnt get tht much points for a fall just one

  • i no homi!!

  • nice job mr coach ! (wanker!)

  • actually her face didn't touch the mat, no face plant, however when you fall on your ass, that is considered a face plant, ass-face video poster.

  • that guy standing there was completely useless

  • @johnnydeppmanic

all spotters are. they're just there for show

  • @johnnydeppmanic if she were falling in a dangerous way he would have caught her, landing how she did is perfectly fine

  • No,they have a late puberty. I think that's why,besides they do a lot of exercice.

  • lol

  • Romania, as a team, have never really mastered the uneven bars the same way they have mastered the other apparatus. I'm not trying to generalise based on this particular gymnast, but overall, bars is not Romania's best event.

  • Yeah, you're right. It's because they didn't have a real uneven bars coach during the B&B era, and possibly even before.

  • pause at 0:38 she was trying to grab the pole

  • obviously

  • lol

  • Is that why gymnasts have flat chests?

  • yes

  • Comment removed

  • lol @ greatgmasta =)

  • yeah

  • lol funny fall, but she fell on soft that was releaf

  • i would have given her a hug if i was there !

  • her fall wasn't a big deal. She falls like that a million times in training and she is actually trained (like all gymnasts) to fall in a way that isn't painful.

  • her coach couldnt have done anything, both the gymnast and coach expected her to make it, gymnasts are trained to handle pain and that was nothing

  • That most hurt! But the guy next to her, he did almost nothing!!

  • thank god for padding.

Had this been cement i would really feel for the poor girl.

  • lol so true

  • aww :(

  • Comment removed

  • ur a fucking idiot

  • nice catch faggot

  • u got a point the catcher sucks ass he was like "woops i missed her...."

  • These girls got excellent, excellent thighs

  • lawl i see ur a ladies man....lol im not gay so dont worry.....

  • The title of this movie is offensive. Are you trying to broadcast sports, or make fun of anyone who isn't from the USA? I guarantee if this had been Jordyn Wieber, they would have been a little more sensitive. A very good routine, despite the fall. Much better form and potential than Wieber on this event--but then, bars isn't really Wieber's even to begin with.

  • Why couldn't they include her beautiful double front dismount? Nastia Liukin could learn a thing or two from this girl.

  • haha! the dude that was suppposed to break her fall missed her completely, then walked away like nothing happened lol.

  • i feel sorry for the girl...she probably worked so hard to get there and faceplant like no one's business...poor girl.

  • He wasn't necessarily trying to catch her. This is a common fall off of the uneven bars, and she has been trained how to fall. Yes, there is a technique, to minimize the chance of injury. The coach is only there to soften the landing. If he catches her, great, if not, it's okay.

  • guy: "Oh! gotta catch her!..."

"oh..too late", "she can get up"

  • lol not even helped the girl get up wat a dick of a bitch BE A FUCKING GENTLEMAN U GAY FAGGOT

  • LOL, It's gentlemen, not gentleman, it's like saying a gentle man, lol, sounds wrong!

  • my bad

  • Uh, no. It is "gentleman." "GentleMEN" is the plural of gentleman. And yes, that is basically what it means/where it comes from.

  • it is gentleman

and that's precisely what it derives from

although the "gentle" is a reference to the gentry, or landed aristocracy.

    gentlemen is plural :)

  • Oh, then I suppose it only sounds wrong when the words are split, gentleman and gentlemen is plural, gentle man I guess was the one I was prefering to sounding a little...eh, wrong. XD

  • Nice catch.

  • poor girl i feel sorry for her! but its still kinda funny, haha

  • FACE!!!!

  • very unusual for a Romanian to at least try a jeager. its about time they did some variety in their routines

  • It must SUCK falling flat on ur stomach like that! Shit.

  • Actually it doesn't hurt one bit even without the coach there. Your energy and mind is so busy focusing on other things that there is literally no pain. Also, any noise going on is completely blocked out and you can't hear anything at all. This is all true if you are truly and fully concentrating on what you're doing.

  • I agree with you. You are completly right i couldnt say it any way better

  • dont be such a tool

  • can someone explain to me the major changes in the code of points?? (i dont understand all that B level C level stuff) i just heard him say that a fall is a WHOLE point? is that just for uneven bars? also why are the start values so low now? are they only counting top 9 most difficult skills? or even 8 or 7? im so confused someone help

  • I have no idea sorry

  • Yes, a fall is a full point off on all of the events. They take the top 10 skills (8 for juniors).

  • oh wow...a whole point?! omg!!!! but why were Bridget Sloan's scores barely in the 14's if they are still couting top 10? are they really that mean!?!?

  • It is not still out of 10. It's open ended now.

  • He didn't 10 as the top score but af the number of skills that are counted now.

  • Sorry, I have no idea what you are trying to say.

  • Who is that one guy providing commentary? His voice is so familiar. I swear he does commentary for every important gymnastics event.

  • I'm pretty sure its Tim Dagget...he like does do commentary for all major gymnastics competitions

  • 1.the title is rude.

    2.she's a junior and
