Shirley Booth only made five movies! That is surprising since she is so amazing! Although she did alot of Broadway and of course" Hazel" set her off for the rest of her life. I heard on TCM that when Burt Lancaster heard that she was taking the role of "Hazel" he stated "what are you thinking?" and that she was too good for that role. But she took it anyway and she spent the rest of days comfortably. She passed at 94 so that's a pretty good life. Lola was a sweet but suffering character though.
