Hi! I see by so many of the comments posted that the young people of today actually have no memory of just how lovely and truly wonderful church once used to be for practically everyone. We all went, my friends and I, and sometimes our parents came (some more than others), and we always had the most wonderful time!! We went to both the Catholic and Protestant churches, I being Lutheran and my friends mostly Catholic. To this day I adore religion and love to listen to sermons and liturgy!!

I have seen the atheist complaints of church. We will see a resurgence in Christian faith, after society sees its blunder and realizes that it cannot buy its way into dignity and value, nor can it fantasize its way to dignity and value such as the Internet and World Of Warcraft: Too many fantasies from the fiction, drama, and lying of television already. Church, have a good look around, that godly value of Jesus Christ is the only truth you will ever see, moral relativism thieves everything.

It isn't really about that- you can think for your whole life, long and hard about what existence means but you won't come up with an answer- now I appreciate that just because we can't answer all questions it doesn't mean religion can, but those people believe in God more strongly than no God. And church isn't full of lazy, stupid people- maybe some are but I think your statement is a bit of an absurd generalisation. and there aren't fairies in the religion.

I have read the Bible and Qur'an in entirity, i found the information these books contained to be childish, bigoted, inconsistent and for the most part plain ridiculous, the bible in particular has got more bad magic tricks in it than a paul daniels annual, its wall-to-wall ghosts and goblins, winged monkeys and sea-serpents with 4 penises, i find it to be ridiculous and anyone who promotes or defends it is beneath my contempt.
