It is all about business use and fun use. The TG01 is for Business people: Big high resolution screen, outlook sync, real gps, offices, way faster processor, more complicated OS, takes longer to get use to but better than osx when get use to... Iphone is more for teenager or people who like to play games or have fun w/ the phone: Tons of "just for fun" apps, way better quality games(compare w/ WM), itune, Easy to use OS, fit anyone.(Includes Grandpa)

Tips: SPB Shell does make windows simple.

Its unfair to compare the Iphone with the Windows Mobile 6.1 version of the TG01. So much improved though Windows Mobile 6.5... TG01 is my absolute favorite phone. So much better than the iphone...

TG01 is a oversized phone and back in the 90's laughed to why you have you have a dining table with a TV built in it! It's gonna be replaced very soon over and over.

@ASDvids oh yeah that amazing 2mp camera, or 3.2 if u get the 3gs. yeah really a great camera.

I prefer the iPhones app store compared to windows marketplace but without jailbreaking its too limited, winmo is open to mods, hacks, and lots more out of the box

Dont smash yo iPhone jst yet. Ive had a TG01 for a month now. Its a great disappointment. Despite having the fastest processor in any mobile today, the TG01 is very slow and takes ages to load applications. Despite its massive screen, the video playback quality is very poor. The camera is rubbish. The resistive touch screen is shi@t. The TG01 is nowhere near the performance of the iPhone 3G S. So hang on to your iPhone for a while. Youll be doing yourself a great favour I tell you.

The Tg01 is certainly more powerfull has better gaming capabilities but the Iphone is more user freindly and...well lets just ask you this question What do you prefer more Mac or Pc ?

A Mac is more user freindly but stuborn as the Iphone...you can play any game you like with it, only certain software is available for it.

While with a PC you can play any game and even crack games and get them free , the same with software...create viruses...etc

I cant really decide for you but i would choose an Iphone as its more user freindly and has great fun games and features...but if you want freedom and your a computer type person then i would get the TG01

this phone isnt GPU accelerated like the iphone and the iphones UI is smoother moving than this the bottom line is no dedicated GPU acceleration = bad graphical animatry

Look again at your propaganda, the iphone has redrawing to make it look smooth ( its really a stall teqnique of about .5 seconds).

Its small, slow and sucks.

The default TG01 screen sucks but the GPU and CPU is faster. THE Tg01 GPU is a GPU from ATI. Check out TG01 and docomo and you'll see it much smother when someone writes a decent bit of code for it.

why would u need tons of cpu and gpu power if its for business

the iphone games r just as good and fast plus u get them on the fly

playing DVD quality videos runs ultra good and fast

like i said i had a windows media pda but its so limited vs the iphone where u can do so many things without leaving ur seat away from the computer at work or on vacation

1- 2- TG01 is THINNER than iphone

2-Business- because WM can run multiple apps, its better to have a faster CPU

3-tg01 has higher resolution and plays DVX thus plays BETTER (yes BETTER) quality than iphone.

4- WM is unlimited and has MORE APPS (simply because its been around longer) than iphone. Wm can actually run EAS in background,so it can be used for work, iphone cant.

I mean just about everything you said, is wrong and better of the TG01.

yeah i agree if u run like alot of business apps like powerpoint and word along with websites keeping them up the PDA is better but u might as well use a small laptop

also the iphone is better for things u cannot do on a laptop easy such as making calls taking notes and searching websites anywhere

u can do messaging and email but thats simple and iphone is just as good

No. you can connect with EAS on the iphone but only when you switch to it. Which is retarded because most business users want to be notified when emailed.

Um this does notes and calls better as it wont shut down your notes when you answer a call!
