I guess they thought that it wouldn't make much sense underwater. Both swords would probably be too light and since you don't have something heavier in one hand like a shield, you would probably lose your sense of balance underwater when you try to attack and end up spinning around aimlessly instead of hitting anything at all.

Probably because Portable 3rd doesn't have underwater battles. Underwater combat is what I think is the reason for the exclusion of DS and Bow in MH3, but I don't understand why Gunlance was omitted since they got Bowguns to work underwater.

good plan......flash, paralyze, 1 healer, 3 attacker, hmm good actually d.swords can break kushala's horn n tail break faster bcoz to break them it only how counts how many times u hit it until it reaches its maiximum hit then only will break....good..nice strategy.....iinjanaika.

Lol i play 2g, I play the japanese version. "ku ryu" means old dragon and metal dragon. kushala daora is just the name they use in the quest but all monsters names are not really the names of the items.
