  • Thanks so much!

  • Do you do hair? I'm located in NYC... If you do, can you email me... Or refer me to someone in NY :o)

    Ineshashipman@yahoo.com

  • @lashawns500 Hi, I don't do hair for others and I'm not in NYC. I'm not familiar with any stylists in that area either, sorry :(

  • love the video. would you recommend this method for lace closures as oppose to bleaching the knots? and can u use acrylic sealer after the dye job?

  • @sprinkles125 You would still need to bleach the knots as this won't conceal them, just make the lace blend better with your scalp/fabric. Yes you can use the acrylic sealer after, but please do some research on using acrylic sealers for closures before hand :)

  • Easier solution would be to use ur powder foundation and apply in part with eye shadow shader brush works great for me and matches skin tone

  • @alluringblackB That definitely works as a quick, temporary fix. Matter of fact, I believe I did a video on that method. That’s how I touch up my part, but with concealer instead of eye shadow :)

  • if u have bleached knots does this effect it......or does it matter?

  • @keithsbeautystation If the mixture is diluted enough, the knots will not be affected. They will take on the color of the dye/lace so it should all be the same color

  • Excellent video!! Looking forward to trying a silk closure!! Thanks!

  • Lovely video if you like boxing take a look at mine.

  • Hey I jus got my closure from silk base closures.com and the scalp is way too light jus like yu said a white kinda biege color well im dark skin so I was wondering should I use brown and tan or brown and tuape or use the same colors yu have?

  • @nicole2larae1991 I can’t really tell without seeing your complexion. If you are around Gabrielle Union’s complexion or darker, you can mix a drop of cocoa brown with a little taupe. Just remember to be very light handed with the dye and heavy with the water. It’s best to start off too light and adjust, than go too dark

  • @MissBossyLIVE hey what happens if you use the rit liquid dye on weave extensions? i have black i want it to dye the hair b/c i just ran out of the hair dye.

  • @MissBossyLIVE I agree, If you start off too dark, then there is no way of lightening it.

I love the way the color matches so flawlessly @ "8:17" Really nice the way you did that. I like this better than the lipton tea dye. Our complexions are so diffrenent and Lipton doesn't work for all of my darker skinned clients. I appreciate your videos!!

  • thank you

  • I have a question, just ordered my customize lace wig and it is a golden brown blonde look and the silk base is way to light, will this method color the hair color of the wig? and what do u think abot the natural lipton tea, coffee method? pleaseeeeeee answer lol

    thanks !

  • @crystalshrly

This will color the hair on the wig if it gets on the hair. I haven't used the tea or coffee methods myself, but I have heard some good things about them. If you go with Rit dye, I would be very careful not to get the dye on the hair, and do small sections at a time.

  • this was very informative and helpful.. thanks chica

  • good job, lady... You answered all my questions and great demonstration.. I plan to get this for my birthday in Jan.. so I am excited to know my questions were answered on you show.... And I will use the natural wave bundle so thanks...and you're right my hand is dark than my forehead.. great tip... What! that would have been a hot mess,girl...

  • Thanks for the video.

Wish I had found this video before I tried to tint mine.

  • You doin the damn thing on here Miss!

  • You doinn the damn thing on here Miss!

  • how much are your closures?

  • @CarmelCutie1212

my closures range from $115-$130 depending on pattern and size

  • Missbossy, can I do this on lace which has had the knots bleached?

  • @Jeau7

yes it can. just make sure you dip and don't soak. Your knots will turn the same color as the lace.

  • The curls on the closure is so pretty, it looks like it will match some hair that I have. You sell closures right?

  • @bxlayedbacchic

Thanks. I do sell closures, and actually this one is for sale, lol. I can't wear it due to the scalp color :-)

  • @MissBossyLIVE How much are you selling this one for?

  • @MissBossyLIVE And how large is the closure?

  • Missbossy what color silk did you order?

  • @46FOXFIRE

I just got the standard color, didn't specify anything in particular
