Almost all wheelcleaners do the job when agitated with a brush.But I agree that Wheel Brightener is very good. I use it only on "impossible to get clean" wheels though.

You should have used " Brown Royal Wheel Cleaner " would have been faster

I tried claying after but the clay I had was too mild to make a differance. It was pitted prettyy bad too

use a clay bar to remove the tar and then wax the wheel. don't let the hours of work go to waste, always clay and wax
