i would not get one for an adult they are too expensive to maintain and they are not made for the weight. also I would not get one older than 2003 for a kid because that is when they became Liquid cooled and are much more powerful.

it depends on which one you buy and if you buy new or not. We are particular to the KTM brand because they are pretty fast but they are picky and tempermental so hopefully you know how to wrench on them. if you buy new depending on model it will be 1600-3500 dollars but if you buy used it will be approx 800-2200 the deals are out there.

the ki in the orange... 142 i think....if he sticks his foot a tid bit more out in front of him and lean with it. he will master his turns. and once u master them, ur a pro. just go for it. have fun. awesome
