  • in terms of confidence and being attentive, what will someone who has strabismus or crossed eyes do? since there eyes are not focused or may ar as the are not being attentive

  • this video is very informative. i found this site about job interview tips as i search on google: adf.ly/572387/jobinterview

  • Do not play interview games, this is very cruel and silly too.

  • I have not yet put this into play but i agree 100%.

  • A year ago I went for an interview for a management post in a distribution firm- I was well qualified & experienced, but they gave the job to this slick younger guy in a perfect suit. In the feedback they criticised only my ‘physical presentation’.

About 6m later this guy had to leave, after numerous ‘misconduct’ complaints from female members of staff. Turns out he had a history of this, but no-one was allowed to mention it on his references- he just came across as an amazing high-flyer!

  • @SuperTruth77 welcome to america life my man!!!

  • Tttghhtyhyhht

  • Big question folks: What if an interviewer asks you why you left your last job, but you were terminated, and were not on good terms with your ex-boss?!? Whatdya do THEN?!?!

  • @hotdrumchick It's a hard one for sure. One thing to say perhaps, would be that there were some issues not fully resolved and at this time you'd rather focus on your skills etc. you need to skillfully turn this question to your skills,(are you really good at this job? better be) it might not go well without coming up with made up story, but It's better not to talk about what happened, or even not mention about that job at all. and certainly never say bad things about your previous job/boss etc.

  • @eastcoastnj I was thinking along those lines. When I've applied for jobs lately and there's a box that says "Can we contact your previous employer?", I think "Hell no! Don't call that lying cow ( that was being nice, lol)", but I figure it would make them more curious if I check no. I wouldn't badmouth the company though. That would make me look like a disgruntled ex-employee ( BANG! BANG!, lol). Thanks for your answer though, sweet.

  • @hotdrumchick yep,I have a job application in front of me and there are many questions I dont have right answers to. it wants a list of 3 most recent jobs, how long you stayed at each job, previous wages, reason for leaving, days lost from work etc. i have nothing to fill it in with. Then it goes about business and personal references, special interests and so on. i have nothing to write in these slots. i could check the box for fun lol but what will i write next to it? no job, no money, nuthin'

  • @hotdrumchick LOL

  • @hotdrumchick i mean turn this inconvinient question if it has to come out, and direct the conversatoin toward your skills. i guess. i would never mention the job i had to leave for whatever reason. if it's your fault, better dont talk about it as there is nothting to talk about. you dont go there to talk about things that went terribly wrong. i know there are bs answers to questions like tell us about your weaknesses, then you come up with once that won't impact the work you'd do etc its a game

  • This person really just talks about common sense.

For those struggling to actually trying to get an interview, it is actually easy. All you must do is try and seperate yourself from the field. This can be done through networking or utilising many sources on the internet. Just as a starting point anyway.

Apparently over 60% of jobs/employees are found through sites like LinkedIn

  • With subconcious communication I think it can be there. I find I can send out bad subconcious communication just to test it to see if it works. I dont know how to send good subconcious communication. I just dont understand how that works and how it might be used against you to not getting the job.

  • why do I have to do things their way? why can't they accept that we are people and not robots. I just find that when people can evaluate you for a job interview and they go with what that guy is saying its really not fair when you think deeply about it. its just so wrong to evaluate people using these methods. the world is so fucked up

  • a lot of BS!

  • Here are a few things to remember about job interviews.

Never, ever, under any circumstances believe what the company is going to tell you about job security.

Never reach the age of 50 in America.

Never under any circumstances stay with a company more than three years.

Never work in corporate America after the age of 35. Learn what you can and move on.

If you think there is loyalty, integrity and ethics in Corporate America you are going to be terribly dissappointed.

  • I´m brasilian and things here are goes on to the same way.

  • @BoomerNavy70

Er no thats absolute toss wat u just sed u breathe in there face

  • good stuff...

  • He is quite right. Our body language will significantly affect the result of the job interview. Sometimes, without our knowledge, our body communicates indirectly to another person. hence, we should practice and prepare ourselves both physically and mentally. thanks man! for those who seek guidance in job interview, check out "jobseeker revolution" video too. highly recommended.

  • did this mike fella ever get a job with that weirdass haircut =|
