im obviously not oging to say anything against your parkour or anything becuase its obvious you are a true traceur, a rather good one. Id like to see some of your BIG tricks, see you pull out some large jumps or vaults or precisions.
It's not the way how parkour works. There shouldn't be massive jumps, you do it only when you must, if enviroment or situation is forcing you to do it. What Tyson Cecka put on that vid is actually pure parkour. Peace
You can see some of his more impressive things by just searching Tyson Cecka in the searchbox. Look for the one where he is running through an area with a lot of red bricked walls.
thanks! that was useful and pretty sweet. but see if u never practice larger tricks, you may not hav ethem when u need them. modern parkour is not about having to use certain things and knowing what u have to. its about bettering yourself as much as possible, in my opinoin.
Great advice and you are dead on it but, like sLim88CPC said, parkour is using the natural, everyday environment to your personal advantage whether it be doing underbars to get up/down steps quickly or doing the huge stuff to cover a lot of ground. In this case getting to class. lol
yeah, i know what both of you are saying. but you never know when youll need a big trick, plus, if you learn larger things you better yourself that much more, and when you better yourself your other skills improve just from your overall improvement. but i do know what you mean, especially about the natural environment. I live in the suburbs, im all woods XD or mostly. but true true true.
(super laggy response) Trust me, Tyson can do the big stuff. In Gasworks Park Seattle WA, there are meetings every Saturday afternoon. Tyson shows up every now and again and shows his stuff lol.
that is the chillest flow i have ever seen

Those dive rolls at the 50 second mark are crazy! Looks fantastic. Although I gotta say, you have a lot of free time between classes.
