E - Thanks for all your wonderful comments and suggestions. Our sons still share our beds too, I had to pump my milk, so they got not only formula by breast but by bottle too. I hadn't the energy with them being so close in age. Ours NEVER slept through the night. Ugh, Hayden was such a collicky baby and now just so sweet and mild tempered, funny how they change and sad how quickly they grow.
He's a startlingly surprising boy. As an observer of the world I see his gifts, special qualities & intelligence and I marvel. "U think this 'cause U're his mom," I say. But not so. He was the miraculous reward, at 44, for a promise to God fulfilled! (I planned zero kids).
For all the hardships & fleeting passage of time, which moves me to tears as he grows, I can only say, in hindsight, "Man, I would've missed being a MOM! NO WAY! I'VE BEEN BLESSED!"
With the title of time flying: I kept looking to the clock, expecting the hands of it to move with each successive watercolor and each successive changing of the light.
That's my 10 cents worth: maybe you'll consider this for the next video ;-)
Blessings to you and your boys.
I miss L.A. so much, though Miami, although
not always so evident, also has its charms!
Thanks so much for sharing such an intimate part of a mother's life and nostalgia for her babies!
Oh, no... you would only have to paint the face of the clock again for each successive change of light... then superimpose the face onto the original and voilá... INSTANT fix ;-)
Hi, I came to this page by mutual acquaintance w/ Dancegypsy or Batatakley
& AngelCheeks.
I wish I could say I remember these times, but I really didn't have that experience;
my son shared my bed & I nursed him (still do) so although I did bottle feed him, it was usually NOT at night. Also he'd sleep through the night (another major blessing) though that meant he was always up w/ me, too. Still is. ;-D
This was lovely though, & I relate as a mother to the concept that time flies! It does!
When I was little I tried watercolor painting once. I ran over where I had used those 'sharp' Sharpie things and it bled black all over! All into the nice watery paint. This artist obviously knows what she is doing. She can stay within the lines and do it over music too. This artist deserves our praise and adornment, and we should also think about the children's hearts she has so touched.
LOL there shorty. :) and Uhm IDK but I give lessons, but only to a few rocking dudes/ladies per year. LOL Thanks for your comments. I teach but only in the summer. and I am in AZ. Good thing you don't give your info. out, not a good thing to do on the net nowadays! :) I wish you success on your art endeavors, I have many videos which instruct one on watercolor, have a look. :) Warm Regards,
Gordon Thank you so much. They do take long but really only because of the drying time and glazes. Because of you I did a trial version of a morph, we'll see how ignorant I am at doing one. :) Thanks for taking the time to visit. It's great subbing other artists, it's eye candy for me.
Mike, although I feel if your a Doctor I should call you by your surname.?? And well lets just say you are a master at compiling beautiful musical pieces!! The best I may say here as well. No at the end of the video i give kudos to another favorite of mine, Kenny Loggins. and Thanks so much.
Okay, I obviously don't know why I miss all these? I think all my nonreplies were made when I did a bunch of uploads all at once, and then meant to respond and just never did, I do soooooo appreciate each and every comment. Thanks so much. :) And I too Rick and very happy and proud to know you!

Well, now I just put my mascara on... and it seems to be running down my face at this point. Beautiful Lori... It is so wonderful that you can paint what is in your soul like that...
G - I don't know why I don't see these? I feel like people must be thinking that I am not appreciative of their comments. And I AM. Thank you so much. :)
God your good!...time flies by...mine is out crashin cars & it seems like 3-4 years ago he was learning to walk in the kitchen...quit makin me cry, punk...hugs
Why oh Why I don't see some of these comments is beyond me?? Thanks and Awe, I'm sorry I don't mean to make you cry. Hope your son is staying away from the crashes this week :)
Don't get me started with the tag! Yes, I got it. Thanks, I think....I'm not sure yet. =) I've been working on making up some lies to tell in a video today because the 'facts' are boring and totally unfunny. So far I have 3 things, but my imagination has been deleted...so I have to come up with a couple more tomorrow.
Pretty. But why is it called "How to paint..."? - there are absolutely NO instructions here...

Your idea about the hands moving is marvelous! That would take another 5 different paintings though. LOL I'm not so good with digital manipulation!
