To be fair... John Esposito wrote a book "Who Speaks For Islam?" which asserts that 7% of Muslims are radicalized. Esposito is widely seen as an islamic apologist, and even he presents a figure only 3% points lower than Beck's. The book was co-authored with a Muslim woman. She later admitted in an interview that she scored Muslims on their radicalism on a scale of 1 to 5, and only included the 5s in the 7%. If she had included the 4s, the number would've been bumped to 14%.

Actually beck is wrong, I would say at least 40-50% of Muslims on this earth accept the concept of violent jihad. Even those that do not take part in violent jihad in the spread of Islam give it moral support or money. Beck is too soft on Islam. To make it clear what Beck means here, he doesn't mean that 10% of muslims go out and blow stuff up (though many thousands do, and many more would if they could), but that 10% of muslims are appeasers to islamic terror. They don't condemn it, they accept it, sympathize with it, some secretly even condone it. Personally, I believe the figure is actually even higher than 10%, its probably around 30%

Who cares, it's not as if Muslims in general have done anything to deserve us to treat them with respect. The latest terrorist attack in Sweden demonstrates that.
