  • Okay, I take back my comment about respecting all art teachers. This is asinine.

  • I have the greatest respect for art teachers, but watching this video with the camera constantly bobbing around made me feel sick! I couldn't even get through it. Tripod, man!

  • Will be finishing intro to color theory w/ high school classes early this week and was planning to show Bearden as part of Black History Month. Think I'll show this to students last day before winter break.

  • I have always loved Bearden's work. Great job, John. I have always had a sneaking admiration for Gramsci (what a guy!), but kept it quiet. In the circles I travel in, nobody's heard of this jewel. Val

  • Bruddy, you are going to be famous. Not only was this hysterical (Miss Foreyzin and Dorkus), but the educational aspects of it were really good--laughing outloud AND learning about Romare Bearden (not to mention my growing appreciation for Mr. Gramsci, who I had never heard about before your oevre began to grow.
