Well that's alright but if he is gifted then not stimulating his innate intellectual curiosity will be detrimental to his development. If he is gifted then he'll need you to recognize that and support him.

My man excells at the top with maths & does well in all areas, his brother excelled at the top with basketball, my man thinks our 3 year old son is gifted, we told him the number 8 on his shirt & he recognised the number 8 & he talks about things and initiates conversation but he does not count past , 1, 2, 3, 4, Nobody sits down with him and works on counting or number recognition. So busy with a school child & baby. He matches color shades. He got well done on his
