But this movie has a sort of human presence or quality in it that goes beyond ideologies.

In simple terms, it's a great movie, even though I don't like communism.

As an epic its good, artistically. But I don't get the feeling Warren Beaty understands what hes talking about. In communism you can't own a business, and you can't choose your job. This ain't the original trailer, of course. Like everything else these days, it has to be turned into a throbbing, pulsating, sensationalized flash-cut music video with zero emotional impact. In other words, everything the movie isn't. So I agree with you: terrible trailer.
