Apple really needs to fucking fix iTunes fat ugly GUI. Its been 9 versions and you still can't customize its layout like Winamp? Not everyone cares about all that extra crap taking up their resolution. Some people prefer a simple music player fit snuggly into the corner. People aren't spending up to a thousand dollars extra for widescreens just to waste it on bulky windows. Come on Apple we aren't all babies. I know they have the budget to create a simple custom layout feature.

I like the clean look of itunes 9 but it would have been nicer if you could make the text size larger. You can make the source and list text larger but its still too small. It doesnt really increase the font size.

one thing that i noticed is that the older gen of ipods dont stay in the sync screen while its plugged in like the "dont disconnect" goes away after its done syncing and you can access the ipod while its plugged in connected to itunes

You have to be on s/w v. 3.1 for it to work, don't know if it works for iTouch.

From the iTunes help file:

"If you have iPhone OS 3.1 or later, you can also do the following:

New features are great, but the new look is awful! The gradient at the top of iTunes is washed out and not at all in fitting with the rest of OS X, and the new buttons look like a bad skin-mod!

I love the new look at the top. it looks like polished metal. It doesn't match everything else unless apple changes all windows to look like that in the next OS.

the top bar of other windows like safari look plain. the only thing i like about windows is the transparency look and apple is probably trying to beat it without ripping off them.

I HATE the new store, now to search something I have to do more clicks around and everything, the songs are displayed as a webpage and not natively from itunes. natively as if I already had them; easy scroll, order, etc.. I just uninstalled 9 and will flip back to 8 for now. Locked up and would not close on my Windows 7 box. Reading around on the net, it seems to be pretty common problem locking up on PC;s I don't use it a lot but I do use it. Too bad it "failed"

I create allot of media such as videos that I watch on my iPod Touch and having 'Home Sharing' is a nice alternative to booting my Macbook into 'Target Disk Mode' and copying my iTunes library.

Now, the next feature I want is to wirelessly transfer my media from iTunes to my iPod without physically docking it.
