  • keep pressing 4 for the 2 wheel motion xD

  • that was cool lol

  • and what about the 2005-2012 pathfinder?

  • The only thing i learned from this vid is...

Those japs made that piece of shit with survivability in mind...Gotta respect the fact that there is a possibility of walking away from a crash like that(In a 4 runner).

I'd hate to see what kind of shape i'd be in if i ever roll my Explorer.

  • best car in the world

  • Just needs to be repainted hahaha i love my 4runner over 200 thousand miles on it and still runs like new

  • it will still run... no problem. what do they do with the test cars? I hope they sell them so they can be parted out.

  • well the tail lights are still goof.

  • Looks like a 4Runner to me. Always Upside Down.

  • It looks like it held up pretty well. As long as you had your seatbelt on, you should be fine. I've been looking at purchasing this model 4Runner, but If it tips that easily, it has me second guessing. Have you tested any other SUV's?

  • esp was turned of ? i think so

  • 0:07 wahts this sound ? gear box broke ?

  • Better than a Traxxas.

  • does it swim

  • Ok, what SUV would this NOT happen to.

  • Standard lane change roll over which is fairly easy to achieve in a high CoG vehicle. Thankfully, the majority of modern SUVs now have electronic saftey systems that go a long way to preventing this.

  • lol man i had one of this cars and i was able to drift xD good thing it didnt roll over it gets nasty

  • F A I L

  • That is just awesome!!!

  • Now that is a HIGHSIDE crash.

  • is this a REAL 4x4 or a remote one?

  • @legoman1111full - It's a real 4Runner driven using a remote control system.

  • @289altec ahhh ok mate thanks i dint know it was that i dint know it was a remote one!

  • I drive one of these. A 94'. No airbags. I better not drive like a retard :P

  • Slap some duct tape on and spray some WD-40 and it'll still run.

  • I've taken corners at 60km/h and 80km/h and no issues it turns nicely i don't know what the fuck that was but a human can't put that much force at those speed to make it flip and who would either this proves that no matter what happens the roof won't collapses like an american car.

  • @azadkazuaki - We investigated hundreds of 4Runner, on-road rollovers. It's well documented that people can achieve very high steering rates when in a panic situation! Taking a corner at 80km/h at a steady steer rate is much different than multiple opposite steers at high steering rate. This 4Runner was 100% stock - except for the remote control system used to drive it.

  • @289altec Yea i agree with you so i looked it up and but you can't say just runners alot if not most SUV are alike especially one built in 1996-etc. This just show that stupid people shouldn't be on the road. Panicing is one thing you should never do while driving. Thanks for the info though.

  • @azadkazuaki Bullshit! These type of vehicles roll over quite easily purely through bad driving, and even worse design!

  • @azadkazuaki The roof on this collapsed more than when my friend rolled his Cherokee

  • @desertfox2020 your friends jeep sucks cock. it wasn't going as fast as the 4runner if thats thats case..

  • @AZtwoNE I don't know how fast he was going, but its his damn fault is all thats for sure. He lifted it 6 inches and put 33" tires on it, and we live in Pennsylvania. Driving winding mountain roads in something like that, he had it coming. How does the roof collapsing less make it suck cock?

  • @desertfox2020 The fact being your friends jeep sucking cock and this video, are two completely different examples of a "crush test". Your friends jeep would fall apart rolling at that speed.

  • *im not trying to make a comeback* but, actually, american cars are among the top 5 safest brands, and asian cars are nowhere near that... safety is improving and hopefully all cars will be safer in the future

  • @kmvtcamera even older american suvs will flip man (this 4runner is atleast 10 years old and upto 16 years old...all automakers are better about these things now...

  • In Australia, we them Roluxes. Ridiculously top heavy vehicle.

  • wow it shows no mercy

  • Poor 4Runner.. It got too excited, dreamed it could fly, and then simply acted upon it.. Thats all that happened. lol

  • the favorite car of the stupid no brain south american drug dealers hahaaha this fucking suvs are only good for two things shit and nothing

  • Show me the CARFAX!!!

  • What the hell! What a pity waste! ...I would have gladly taken it off your hands. My 4runner has seen more shit than that and it still runs like a freaking beast. One of history's greatest trucks

  • Yeah, pretty dangerous vehicle. Especially at 98 mph. Must have been a hard week out there.

  • My cousin and i rolled a 99" 4runner in the middle of the desert!

rolled it going 98mph... ended up stock out in the middle of no where for a week... finally search and rescue found us!

  • salam

  • That. Was. AWESOME!!

  • @toyota4life94 oh kool toyota made one good car. they are all chinese non union pieces of shit!

  • @longlostbmx toyota's have nothing to do with china. 4runners to this day are still imported here from japan, and all of the toyota's effected by recalls were models being assembled in the US. soooo stick that up your mexican chevy's fuck hole. (that was an insult because gm trucks are made by mexican day labourers.... in mexico ;) for reals

  • @toyota4life94 i was making a joke. toyota sucks ass anyways.

  • ytirki

  • OMG why?! why didn't you guys get a used up kia rio or something? :(

  • that wouldave been one nice ass drift

  • his throttle got stuck

  • @longlostbmx 4runners werent effected by that you stupid shit. Only toyota's made in the Good ol USA... tundra camry yaris highlander sequia...... 4runners are still made and imported from Japan, and have had no such problems. GM Ford and Chrysler are competing for the largest recall count in the world since the beginning of the automobile.... I think i see a trend.

  • estavilidad cero!!!

  • Comment removed

  • that was spectacular!

  • If I recall the speed at the first steering input was around 50-55 mph.

  • @289altec It got pretty pwnd.

  • how fast do you think it was going??

  • that was INSANE!!!!!!!!!!

  • mucha diferencia en autos bajos y camionetas altas

  • @FusionBoy2010 No, this is why driver skill is so important.

  • Poor 4runner what a waste

  • videos like these should be shown to everyone before they apply for their licenses.

  • !!!

    :(

  • as bad as that looked there really doesnt look like theres much damage

  • turn the key and it's like nothing happened I bet

  • @chiefy51 my 2001 4runner rolled over.. me and a a few friends helped me to roll it back turned on and kept driving.. that's an amazing vehicle!

  • This was driven using a remote control system being controlled by passenger in the white car following.

  • Yes, this generation 4runner has a high rollover rate, but unless youre in a high speed wreck, youre not gonna roll it. I have one and Ive had to take some fast turns and avoid an accident on the freeway and I didnt roll.

  • was someone driving it?

  • it was making cool sounds. tell it stopped moving. that suv got some air on the second turn it took..

  • Those are sand bags to duplicate passenger/driver weight.

  • @289altec Where do you find videos like this? these un-common crash tests?

  • they look like airbags kinda at 0:08

  • is it me or is that the airbag sticking out the window at 0:08

  • now boys and girls thats why you dont tailgate an suv expecilly a 4runner or it will FLIP out on you haha

  • Look how hard he had to crank it to get it to roll over. If you do this in a single vehicle accident you must have failed physics.

  • crazy rollover..more please
