I'd be happy to send you the midi file if you are interested?
Finally got around to ordering your 2 books. I have a question regarding the turnarounds. I find those octave turnarounds hard to sounds good. I find them hard to get down rythmically. Do you use a little pedal? Any tips?
Frank - not exactly sure what turnaround you mean but pedal is ok as long as it is sparing - hope you'll enjoy the tips and pieces in the books - thanks - Matt
You do the first turnaround at 0.55. I call them octave turnarounds, not sure if there is a name for them. Anyways say you play in C, you use just the note G octaves in both hands for turnaround? I find it hard to sound good, just get's "choppy".
It's just alternating C octaves - not one right way to do it - many options there - there is a D octave in the right too - but it's not essential - thanks for watching!
Hey you, I know this might seem a little arrogant from a novice, but you appear to be getting even better, I have seen many of your posts which are all spectacular in there own way, but this has something else, a different kind of self expression, a stronger connection or confidence in your playing, something comes across in this that jumps out at me, you are very inspiring. go well. One of the besr versions I've heard. Have you ever done a midi recording of this? Found a fantastic version through a midi search engine about a year ago. No info on the midi file, but however plays it knows what they are doing :)
