Yup, I agree with this video todays rappers are nothing more than menstral characters. And todays R&B singers have single handly overthrew the craft of R&B
@TheIronAtheist No sir. This is due to a conversation I had on twitter with some young know it all punk who thinks he understands hip hop but doesn't. The rhyme you did was better then any of the rhymes I've heard from the rappers he looks up to.
Thanks for clarifying. From what you said here, I thought since this video was posted shortly after mine, that I might have somehow pissed you off when I replied to your comment on my vid and said that I thought the rhyme would sound awesome if you put a beat to it and rapped it. I appreciate you saying that my rhyme was better than those of the people he looks up to though, but I thought the rhymes I used had about the same "rat, cat" simplicity mentioned here. Hence my confusion.
@TheIronAtheist No way my brother. I actually liked what you did. What these kids are doing today...I can't listen to it anymore. I'm actually wondering what beat I could put to it. I have about 5 that might match it but I might make a new one specifically for it.
Well, if the work of yours that I've heard so far is any indication, then I'm sure it'll turn out sounding pretty cool. Sorry I said it all so fast, that probably makes it a little harder to play out in your head, but I've got the words in the description to read over at a slower pace though. I was gonna read it slower and in a more melodic manner, but I felt like challenging myself to speed read it. lol
Despite being someone who saw Lynyrd Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin in concert the same year (all the original band members still alive), I have to agree with you. In the early 80's when rap was popular with the new guys fresh from basic, I was skeptical to say the least. But it would be extremely arrogant to think bad of the genre. Rap is a powerful art form and will be so for many years to come. And like any great genre, there will be elements that follow the money.
@deepashtray You know....I wouldn't mind those guys getting money if I thought they were putting there heart in it. But musically I think they fell so far from the original form, they no longer care if they are good lyricists or not. BTW I love Lynyrd Skynyrd!
yo tombstone could you stop reading my mind!

I can't help thinking that this was geared towards me somehow because of the rhyme I just posted. I'm a bit lost at the moment.
