  • Good video! :) What song did you use?

  • George Washington learned everything he knew from the Communists. Am I right?

  • @amitus8 nope. communism didn't exist until a century later when karl marx wrote the Communist Manifesto and even that was more socialist.

  • @americanidollvr07 Thank you. I didn't agree that George Washington was a communist. My friend is a fool.

  • The French instigated this revolution, stirred up the colonists. Everything the colonists demanded were given within a few weeks. They were already free - in the great British tradition. Like the French catholics in Quebec granted religious freedom when catholics in England were persecuted. It was a sibling quarrel with outside interference from the French dogs who only want to subverse British peoples and empire, Its only natural we should be friends with our siblings after the war is over,

  • Long live the United States, may she stand until the end of time baring freedom to all.

  • just another insurgency

  • I wish i was there to actually see ! history in the making loolx back then america had morals and money didnt run them .... it saddens me what has happen to america 2day I love your video lisa . This video is the only video i go to if i want to know what gotten america so great. I watch this video so many times and im still amazed by all the pictures! ty you so much lisa

  • @ItsKervin -- Hi Kervin, and thank you for your incredibly nice feedback. So glad you're enjoyig it!

  • Enjoyed.

    Ron Paul 2012

  • america is a country of slavers

  • @TheCountCrumpet - yeah, well the problem is, too many Americans like it that way. Let's hope they change their minds before the upcoming election.

  • Hey Lisa, I saw that you also watched the 1-hour interview of Ron Paul! He's a great guy. We all have to vote in Iowa to make him a president!

  • @randomrandom744 -- Looks like Ron Paul is going to win in Iowa, and possibly New Hampshire as well. It's good news for Constitution lovers!

  • @randomrandom744 -- yes I wish I lived in Iowa or New Hampshire and could vote for him in the primaries. But he's going to do very well there anyway. He'll probably even win in Iowa! Let's hope...

  • Ron Paul for president in 2012!!!! R[EVOL]UTION!!! By the way ive been to this video already. you commented to me before if you remember. i just like to go back here once in awhile. im patriotic and i want a good president. Another like for the video!! :DDD

  • @randomrandom744 -- hey thanks for your support random - I do appreciate it!

  • @randomrandom744 -- Oh dear, now I've commented to you three times! I only visit this page once in a while so I lose track of who I've responded to! Oh well! (go ron paul!)

  • I'm quite high at the moment, so if you could state whether or not this video reveals the massive amount of assistance the country of France provided us, which consequently earned us the most important victory in History? Thank you, great video, also. Appreciate the upload. Stay Safe.

  • @MaladaptiveCatalyst -- Hey thanks, and yeah, I mentioned France's help in the "more info" section. True, it consequently helped us win, and consequently helped King Louis XVI part ways with his head. Bummer!

  • Lisa , I am afraid that this "occupy" is part of the communist ideal... class envy... it is no where near the "Revolution" needed to hold Congress accountable for their unjust laws... Allowing corporations and banks to undermine our beloved country... Only enforcing the Declaration of Independence against this tyrannical govt will make the real change...

  • @MIBPMINC -- I agree!

  • has anybody looked at how big UK in size is 800 mls by 250 mls at this time was involved inwar with france as well not surprised the war was lost

  • This is a fantastic video featuring a brave generation of Americans standing up for liberty. The Founding Fathers of this country created an amazing foundation and set high expectations for us as a free and independent people to choose for ourselves what we want to do with our own lives (Individual Responsibility). The "Founders" would be ashamed of these protests with all the dirty, filthy and lewd behavior going on at these protests around the country. Quit complaining and go find a job!

  • @arnelson45 -- I think a lot of people would like to have a job who just can't find one, but thanks for your comments.

  • @lucas04211995 -- it's on the "curse of the black pearl" cd. You can get it on itunes or amazon.

  • Came here to learn, ended up with "Pirates" music. I'd say this was a very productive study session!

  • @neko3usagi -- yeah, music videos are a fun way to learn about history, because it can sort of recreate some of the drama the people of that time felt about their situation. History books can't do that as well.

  • We watched this in History today!! AWESOME!! I liked it so much i looked it up. XD

  • @4591745917 -- great! Glad the video stimulated your curiosity. Their are so many amazing details about this time in history. So many amazing people behind the writing of the constitution and the founding of the country...

  • @LisaJ4Liberty

*nods head* It really was cool! XD I agree....

  • how did u get the videos in the presentation

  • @17superjoe -- I found them on youtube. Did a search for "american revolution"

  • @LisaJ4Liberty where did u get it from to put on the presntation because i am trying to do one for a project but can't download videos

  • what is the name of second song?? :/

  • @HERMARAS -- I don't know the name of it but it's on the "Curse of the Black Pearl" CD. If you go to Amazon or Itunes you can sample all the songs from that cd and you'll find it.

  • @LisaJ4Liberty ty my friend! Ah! and very nice video nice work! :)+1

  • @HERMARAS -- thank you very much! Thanks for watching.

  • @HERMARAS Hes a pirate by Hans Zimmer. Soundtrack of the Pirates of Carebbean too

  • @schoningsug ty my friend :)

  • it was played in our class today in norway (am wrhiting this in school)

  • @TheTogtja -- wow, that's great. I hope everyone liked it.

  • This was great nice job :D

  • @TheUnparalleled0ne -- thanks!

  • Hey this was a great video. I am just curious to know who u support to be the next president for 2012, only if youre interested. Ron Paul is a great republican candidate who supports the constitution and actually cares about America! You can google him! Anyway once again i like the video a lot!

  • @randomrandom744 -- thanks for the comments. Yes, I'm very familiar with Ron Paul. Gary Johnson also looks like an interesting candidate -- similarly supporitve of constitutional principles.

  • my history teacher played this in class today :)

  • @tarantulaTEP -- thanks for mentioning that. That's actually the second time a teacher played it to their class. Very cool!

  • it was 5 minutes.

  • @laxitudeeeee -- by god you're right. Your refund is in the mail ;)

  • @LisaJ4Liberty Lmaoooo

  • LOve the sound track ;)

  • cool music

  • @Recon1legion -- yeah, I love it! It's Pirates of the Caribbean, Curse of the Black Pearl, for anyone who's looking to get it.

  • @LisaJ4Liberty yeah am looking for some cool music hit me up when u have time

  • If it wasn't for countries like france and foriegners would america have won the war?

  • @CDNmuslimkiller - no, america wouldn't have won without help, but what amazes me about this time is, the american colonists were actually willing to fight for their liberties. Imagine that! Nowadays our country is full of puff-headed cowards who think the government ought to take care of them and tell them how to think. It's really pretty sickening.

    Thanks for your question.

  • THANK YOU FOR THIS GREAT PIECE OF VIDEO...

  • @MIBPMINC -- thank you for your comments, appreciate it!

  • Just saying i wish america was like it was back then with true americans, not today with america selling itself to big companies in other parts of the world

  • @ScrotumusMaximas -- yeah, this country is run by corporate interests now, not the people.

  • @ScrotumusMaximas The time of slavery?

  • @sandree7 haha not exactly maybe like after the revolution because it doesn't seem like people are that patriotic anymore, thats just what it seems to me

  • @ScrotumusMaximas Yes, more an 'every man for himself' society

  • “WE THE PEOPLE” HAVE LOST THEIR ONCE PROUD NATION TO A BUNCH OF ZIONIST CROOKS.

AMERICAN SECOND REVOLUTION NOW!!! BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!!!

  • i wonder what america would be like if us british won any way im british and i love America

  • @trainrockdude -- interesting question.

  • @trainrockdude I wonder what it would have been like if the South had won the war. I'm southern.

  • @DonDKitty -- I think if the south had won, slavery would have eventually ended, but perhaps fifty years later. If tthe south had seceeded they would probably have reunited by now. Just my guess...

  • @trainrockdude They will be singing G-D save the Queen, but UNFORTUNETELY for the British the FRENCH WAS THERE NO HARD FEELING from a French :-)

  • @trainrockdude i think it would be like canada and a lot smaller than what it eventually grew into.

  • @mackshayster -- one thing, the civil war was a one of the most depressing chapters in human history. One does have to consider why we had to have such a bloody battle to end something that was already morally unacceptable to all other civilized nations.

  • @LisaJ4Liberty i think brazil was actually the last nation to abolish slavery in 1888. the civil war was more about the clashes between 2 ways of life than just slavery, but slavery was a big part of it because most of the south had to rely on slave labor for their economy. the north had practically abolished slavery right after the american revolution, and massachussetts did so before the war even ended with britain, and therefore industrialized much faster. but yeah, the civil war sucked.

  • @mackshayster -- right, and no one thought so more than Lincoln. He said himself at the time that he felt as if he were in a place worse than hell. I think he meant it.

  • @trainrockdude you woulda given us independence anyway, but later.. We won so it dont matter... US and UK allies forever !!!!!!!

  • @trainrockdude the truth is the British did win and the treaty we signed proves it.

  • @trainrockdude WE ARE LIVING THAT RIGHT NOW.. UK BANKER, WALL STREET AND CORPORATE OCCUPATION..!!!

  • @trainrockdude I guess it'd probably be like Canada, Australia or NZ are now.

  • Happy Independence Day!

Remember, "Eternal Vigilance is the Price of Liberty". The US Government is not America, WE THE PEOPLE are AMERICA.

  • @toyrocketastronaut -- thank you for posting that -- it's so important for us all to remember!

  • Nicely done! Thanks for putting this up.

  • @Clothahump1 -- you're welcome. Happy Forth of July!

  • Um, the music is from the sound track to pirates of the caribbean.

Anyway , America now faces a simular revolution against it's own tyranical dictatorial totalitarian globalist government.

The new revolution is about to ignite in america , and the fuse gets lit with two words , sociopath and psychopath.

Our leaders have become psychopaths , tyrants , terrorists !

  • @QRF11B hahaha i have never herd someone ran absolute bollox like you!!! acting like the english are still in someway oppressing the scottish and like we are the bad guys. And further more we are not welcome for help from america during the second world war as for one thing it took america ages to even step up to the mark and help the allies and two the united kingdom paid every single dollar the owed america for helping with millions of dollars interest.

  • Be part of the revolution to change our government join us on @humanistnaton on twitter thumbs up!

  • Can anyone tell me the names of the songs that are merged together in this video? AND where I can possibly download it? Please help!

  • @treasure2914 -- the music is selections from Pirates of the Caribbean Curse of the Black Pearl. You can get the music on amazon dot com or itunes.

  • All is well... Except the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack doesn't go very well with the American Revolution. Like... Captain Jack Sparrow wouldn't care much about the Declaration of Independence. xD

  • @Lairell -- well you're right about Jack Sparrow, but I think the music goes with this much better than the silly Pirates movies. This is really great music! Also, you can barely hear the sountrack in the movie - such a waste. But thanks for watching and commenting! :)

  • Watch the song i did on the war for my ss class

  • Heh I would have loved to immigrate from Canada to USA if it at all still resembled the Minarchist vision of the founders. Sadly, it is a shit hole now.

  • @DMBHawk -- well, it's definitely going in that direction.

  • @DMBHawk Dear God, please stay in Canada. Canada is a limp, irrelevant, parasitic British colony that is capable of producing only one kind of citizen: limp, irrelevant, parasitic citizens. Long story short, you're not worthy to become an American. You're not worthy because you're not valuable to the USA and never will be. :)

  • I love the POTC soundtrack in the background. :)

  • @KagamixDiamante -- me too! thanks for commenting.

  • Acutally, it had everything to do with business and the business people's refusal to pay taxes. Funny, nothing changes...

  • @aspiringdrummer17 , reguardless, we beat you, but yeah, with the help of france and spain

  • @HaiLsKuNky , ah, you're just mad 'cause we beat you in the war...

  • @CashSmeller and France and Spain

  • @Hailskunky. I believe the American Civil War has the designation of "2nd War of Independance", as that is what the Confederates often called it. The War of 1812 was started on premises that were of no consequence before the war even began (impressment at sea, which was made illegal by England's own courts in 1812).

  • 1772 England abolished slavery ,1775 America revolts... land of the free. yeah right. keep tell yourself u revolted because of the oppressive monarchy of England even thou the monarchy has not had any powers since bill of rights 1689(google it and read it) u revolted because you didn't want slaves to be freed. 2ed war of independence was because Britain was patrolling the Atlantic and freeing slaves, in the years before the 2ed war we freed 150,000+. God bless England, God save the queen!

  • @HaiLsKuNkY - where did you learn that?

  • @LisaJ4Liberty google it

  • @HaiLsKuNkY uh England did ban slavery or abolish the slave trade until the 1830s

  • @Consrvatev 1772-06-22 slavery was outlawed in England

  • @HaiLsKuNkY No sir, the act you are speaking of may have emancipated the slaves in England but the Slavery Abolition Act which banned slavery throughout the empire wasn't until 1833 long after the U.S. left. The 1772 legislation had NO effect on the colonies

  • @Consrvatev the point is that you claim to have revolted for freedom from an oppressive country (England) but it proves that wasn't the chase because we was promoting the freedom of slaves and even blockading the imports of slaves to america. the royal navy founded a town in Africa called Freetown for the freed slaves.

  • @HaiLsKuNkY really? England wasn't an oppressive nation? you should ask the Irish, the South Africans, the Scotts, the Welsh, the Australians, the West Indies, Singapore, etc. if they weren't oppressive.

Further, the 1772 legislation is not all together significant considering how few slaves were actually present in England at the time. Most of the slaves at the time were in the Americas under Spanish and British colonial rule

  • @HaiLsKuNkY England oppressed economic freedom, we taxed you to pay for our armies and our empire. Please do not discount what happened here because of what America has become (just as bad as any empire of Europe).

  • @HaiLsKuNkY Wow revisionist history much?

  • @Cassidan Don't insult actual revisionist history (often times, it can provide a much more objective look at events), this is simply not true lol.

  • @HaiLsKuNkY: What's the matter? Didn't like the British swallowing their pride and surrendering? Tough character weakness, that British pride.

  • @HaiLsKuNkY Please, spare us the England is holier-than-thou crap. The UK is hardly a bastion of altruism just ask the Irish, Scottish, Welsh, India and Africa. Yes the UK did outlaw slavery in 1772; the US abolished slavery in 1865 and considering that England has been around since antiquity one has to wonder what took you so long? Furthermore, you're welcome for the food stamps, military aid and other economic benefits that the US graciously provided after the war.

  • @QRF11B England has never done anything wrong in history. can you give me an example? the problems in Ireland are from william of orange a dutch man, who conquered england Scotland and Ireland. Sectarianism in the uk is Scottish protestants vs Irish catholics.

  • @HaiLsKuNkY I'll give you several examples of English debauchery. First, William of Orange was an English King and made slaves out of the Irish. Secondly, England prevented food from reaching Ireland during their potato famine and let hundreds of thousands of Irish men, women and children die. Thirdly, Scotland was and still is the victim of thousands of years of oppression at the hands of English hegemony.

Do you want me to discuss the colonization of Africa and India by the UK?

  • @HaiLsKuNkY i think you think that England conquered Scotland or something. the united kingdom was created when the Scottish king James claimed the English thrown.

  • @HaiLsKuNkY Furthermore, England has an antiquated Parliamentary system and an doughty old sandbag of a woman who wears an upside down flowerpot on her head who calls herself the Queen. You also have a Prince who said that he wanted to be Camilla's tampon.

By the way, you're welcome for the US food stamps and significant financial aid graciously provided to your people after the war and the US military protection from foreign invaders after your country was left in ashes.

  • @QRF11B because we have a perfect system. we dont have no president vetoing bills like some dicKtator.

  • @HaiLsKuNkY LOL You need a civics lesson and probably some intensive therapy because you are completely divorced from reality.

  • @QRF11B :) haha what have i said that is wrong pm me because i dont want to keep coming back to this video

  • The land of the free home of the brave

  • @XBrokenwingsX98 -- mmm used to be

  • @LisaJ4Liberty iit still is our government is wereing a comunist mask were the people though are to fat and lazy should REVOLT!!! but i am an American Patriot not Govermential patriot

  • @XBrokenwingsX98 total agree with you, Join big groups like the NRA, or political party other than the two bought off republic and democrat party.

  • 10 people are BRITISH!

  • @SamuelDMorgan -- haha, could be. some brits are still a bit sore about it, it's funny!

  • its 5 minutes.just saying......but i love it its very interesting

  • @Lilsoccergirl7 -- I said 4 minutes because most people's attention span is only that long :)

  • As a British man I hate how bossy Britain was all those hundreds of years ago and the cruelty they infliucted... but I think it is so sad (and ironic) that America fought for freedom yet then inflected restrictions on the freedoms of the African slaves they kidnapped and also on what mainly people argue as the indigenous people of America, the Native American Indians.

As humans we are as good and as bad as each other and have all been tyrants at some point in history

    Matt

  • @mattsuzo -- Matt you're right on both counts, but on the slavery issue most Americans back then didn't have slaves, were against it and wanted it abolished. Even in the south, the vast majority of people were not slave owners. But yes, it's a horrible blemish on this country's history, and it's too bad it took so long for it to be abolished.

  • @LisaJ4Liberty

cheers Lisa and by the way AWESOME choice of soundtrack. The Britain I love is not the one run by Lord Becketts but by Cpt Jack Sparrows ;) :)

  • @mattsuzo the whole war was about slavery Americans are greedy little bitches. right after the Britain saved them from the French in the 7 years war. thank god for Canada and their honour and courage. stopping the American empire in its tracks lolz rock on Canada haha

  • @HaiLsKuNkY

    please dont procreate

  • I agree it is time to start the revolution and take back our country, we can march to the Government and force them to release the lies and move this country forward. We can do this because the broken monetary system has a fix, it's called a resource based economy, watch the Zeitgeist video!

  • As Americans lets make sure that our liberties are not lost! We must not let the American Experiment perish from the earth! Let Freedom Ring louder today then ever before.

  • @MattRyanHorn -- yes ABSOLUTELY! I couldn't agree more!

  • We can do this again you know,I mean refresh the tree of liberty and tar and feather all federal reserve bankers and hang the headless bodies of all Zionists and their followers from that tree of liberty,we should not fear the government the government needs to fear us

  • this gave me shit all info!

  • I love the fact that they used the Pirates of the Caribbean song for this :)

  • It has deeply sadden me to see what America fighted far. We forgotten our for fathers who fighted for death that made our country so great

  • @ItsKervin -- Don't give up hope Kevin, no matter how bad it seems. Our Forefathers never did, even though it seemed at times their cause was lost. There will always be Freedom lovers in this world -- there will always be freedom lovers all over this world -- and they will carry on the fight for individual liberties, as long as man shall walk the earth.

  • @ItsKervin The American people still love freedom and are still willing to fight for it. In fact, we have already begun to try and fight by using the tools our Founders gave us in the constitution. The American people are waking up, and I believe that they will save this great country with the help of God. The fight is only beginning, so I wouldn't give up hope just yet. There'll be some bumps and pain on the way, but we'll win again!

  • Great video!!! And the music is awesome!!!!

  • @fannyluna12 -- hey thank you! Glad you liked it!

  • humanity is an ugly thing

  • all these videos help me so much we are just learning about this! thank you

  • @luigaman5 -- thank you for watching, glad it helped.

  • What's this song called

  • @Tonyair23 -- it's a few different selections from the Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl.

  • I Loved it so much and it brings me lots and lots of memory from that topic of the US history.

  • @Tonyair23 -- thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it and it provoked some good memories.

  • 02/05/11 ... OUTSTANDING OUTSTANDING OUTSTANDING! THANK YOU AND I WILL SHARE IT WITH MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

  • @CIB67 -- Thank you so much, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I hope your family & friends like it too!

  • this is a masterpiece.. It captures the spirit of the revolution..

  • @ValleyOfTime - well thank you very much! I really enjoyed putting it together.

  • @LisaJ4Liberty where did you get the footage of the girl holding the American flag to herself at two minutes and thirty seconds? gives me goose bumps.. I can feel the passion:)

  • @ValleyOfTime -- It was on youtube. It's from an old silent movie, I think the name of it is "Birth of a Nation"

  • Just want to say that the Disney company seems to be extremely generous with regard to Youtubers using their music and film clips here on YouTube. If you like this music please don't copy it from my video, but get a more pristine version from Itunes or Amazon. It would be nice to show your support for their generous policies. The music is Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. The whole CD is good and I recommend it.

  • 1800s 4000thousand british soldiers take the capital of U.S washington D.C and burn there whitehouse down and then nearl take there whole country all this while there at war with france and there empire in cival war the british were fighting the world!

  • that music... it's from Pirates of the Caribbean isn't it?

  • @Jemlink -- yes indeed, Curse of the Black Pearl.

  • I'm only watching this because i need for school for a a project our teacher is making us do, i don't want to do it but i have no choice, i don't want to fail, so thank you for making this video man, it really helped me out.

  • @soccerkidzzzzzz -- back when I was in school I probably would have hated having to do a report on the revolution. But it really is an amazing part of our history. As you get older you'll like the story more and more! Anyway, I hope you get a great grade on your project.

  • @LisaJ4Liberty Thank you

  • @LisaJ4Liberty Yea... when i was younger (now 15) i really hated history and stuff like that but now when i got older im really interested in history especially the 18th and 19th century (Revolutions and Napoleonic wars)

  • @sdsdfg99 -- taking an interest in world history like that will be a great benefit to you as you get even older. History can teach us a lot of lessons about life and people that we can use in our lives. I didn't like history till I got to be in my 30s, so you're way ahead of me!

  • @LisaJ4Liberty Yea as they say: ''If you ignore the past you jeopardize the future''

History is very important beacouse as you already said if you study history or at least take interest in it you learn alot of new things for your life.
