rullo is definately the greatest most versatile drummer of all time. i would love to see neil pearts reaction to hearing his solo's on V. a true master knows when they are outdone. However, i wonder how much of jasons credit goes to michael romeos unsurpassed ability for exceptional composition. i heard him drum in other bands and...lets just say theres definately a difference. some other underappreciated greats are Frank Farrenza(helstar) & Ted Kirkpatric(Tourniquet) PEACE

Russell Allen is also my favorite frontman, but I'm just gonna come out and say it....i don't like his stage presence at all....i think he looks rather feminine on stage....but he's by far my favorite vocalist, his voice is everything i look for from a vocalist.

666guitarfreak maybe Allen sings a little bit agressive than Labrie, if u look for new vídeos from DT u'll see James doing grolws like on Awake,he has recovered his Drive,u can notice it on BC&SL and Chaos in Motion DVD! Don't get me wrong dude i really like SX but nowadays Russel miss a lot of notes, u can see it on Of sins and shadows on utube,even to sing sea of lies he disguises high notes with growls or whispers,check out cause there's many videos where he doesn't sings like on cd!

666guitarfreak there's no difference between them, it's only drive growls and high notes, well Russel try to do high notes uahauuaaa, i'm a SX fan too man,but Russel live nowadays sucks a lot, utube videos shows it! I saw them last year and this gay has serious troubles to sings his own songs, while James even with 47 old and your trouble throat in 95 has recovered his voice and keep smashing !

@TheFacilidade what video shows that he has trouble singing his own songs? he doesnt have the range to sing as high as LaBrie, but if Allen sings high notes, he still properly pronounces the words, LaBrie doesnt. Dont get me wrong though, im a huge DT fan, maybe even a bigger DT fan than SX fan, but atm i still like Allen better. and his singing style is different from LaBrie's. LaBrie sing alot of high notes, lots of vibrato, very clean voice, Allen has way more growls, a more agressive style.

Well, I love Symphony X but Rullo is probabily the weakest element of the band.I mean, of course to play prog/power metal you need absolute great skills but he makes too much mistakes, compared with other good drummers in this particulary metal branch.

I f you'd actually do some research on a person before you bash them you would discover that james labrie used to be a fantastic vocalist and is a prog vocal legend. Professional musicians get old and plus he had an accident in the mid nineties that ruptured his vocal chords so learn more about what you're talking about before you talk shit
