How can you tell if your sword has real or fake ray skin? I want to find out what I have. I don't mind if it's fake but for obvious reasons real would be better. Nice Katana by the way.
@MrRubio07 of course it's full tang, I would never do tameshigiri with a sword that was not full tang, as I said in the video, it is double pegged and can be disassembled, two pegs through the full tang

not from Swords of Might. although its a good place i noticed the site for Paul Chen had slightly less prices. i got a few swords from there and great, amazingly crafted swords.
this looks very similar to the one i got used this weekend the hamen loks a bit manufactured but tell me what you thinkg... its surgical sharp! adding a video response to this vid let me know.

I suggest u check out a great online store called Swords of Might ive purchased awsome swords from them and they have a lot of musashi swords like yours ranging $50 and above as well as many others such as Ryumon and Paul Chen. Im sure you will like there selection.
@krayzie1806 sorry, why would I go there when I can physically go to the Kult of Athena store and hold the swords in my hand before I purchase? I would rate Kult of Athena above the others based on that alone.
@eteune Thats true i can understand that for me i have to find good online stores because i live in california and there is no sword stores like kult of athena that i can go in and check everything out myself i was just recommeding a sword store i know is reliable and has a great selection also.

For future reference, do NOT unsheathe it like that. D:
Always have the blade facing up, cuz if the blade runs against the mouth of the saya, it damages it, and dulls the blade!
