I remember buying this on VHS back before the home video release of the live action Mortal Kombat film. I was so disappointed in the overall lack of effort put into it. The CG segments are barely better than Virtua Fighter. Liu Kang looks like Ricky "The Dragon Steamboat." And is it just me or does the intro music sound a bit like the theme from The Terminator?

a live action tv show no, but they had plenty of other media: SF2 the animated movie, SF:alpha, Alpha generations, SF2V(BADASS show), SFIV, SF usa cartoon(horrid). the movies(both sucked though), SF comics, superior toy lines. SF knows how to use other media to thier advantage, MK hasnt quite learned that yet, and what they did know, failed miserably. i LOVE MK but they need more media. MKL is a start, but a new cartoon would be nice, and the 2013 movie better be good.
