I have all the DVDS of this , was a huge fan! It was a great series and when I met Jeffrey Holland , one day at a local theatre , he was really pleased I was a fan of the show and gave me lots of insights about the show , and we had a great conversation.
I'm from hungary. Only You ranng mylord was aired by us with Hungarian dub. We (I and some other fanatics of the Perry&Croft comedies) were decided to translated this series for those people to Hungarian eho doesnt understand English at all. But we have a problem. We couldnt fing any english subtitles on the net. So If you have tghe original DVD box Would you be so kind to rip the english subtitles to srt or idx/sub format? We would like to start te translation ASAP.
That "Laughing Clown" at the entrance to the holiday camp is the same one who sat outside the pavillion at Clacton Seafront from donkey's years before he got thrown in a skip. Miss him to bits!
I wonder, wasn't there ever a television reality show thing that recreated the 1950'ties Holiday Camp experience? I remember seeing something like that on TV.
great memories. a proper comedy

I remember this show as it was yesterday. I studied in Britain at the time and became a fan since the first episode.
