  • The best pranayamas: rechaka, purva, kumbhaka .... for the translation to be thorough

  • After having some mild out of body experiences, I listen to this guy and think "o shyt this guy's serious!" (I would never have taken this seriously before)

  • @espionaj008 What do you mean by 'Out of body experience'?? Can you explain more, please?

  • @ARUNPR86 What do you mean, what do i mean by Out of Body Experience? You never heard of that before? It's just like the yogi in this video says. At 2:24 he says, "So many beautiful places. That place you cannot see with your eyes here." etc, etc. A lot of yogis downplay out of body experiences because it diverts you from fully realizing your true nature. But it's definitely an option once you get into the meditative state, if you can still the mind and get that far.

  • Question is how do you know you're doing it correctly? So many different ways of practice.

  • @kierbaudy

    just breath

  • @kierbaudy the best way to learn is from an experienced teacher. Videos will help, but having a teacher there to guide you will help tremendously. I'd recommend finding kundalini classes in your area. Hope this helps!

  • to reap the full benefits of yoga one have to renounce all the worldly pleasures....which is impossible for common peoples. so a worldly life with little yoga is much cooler...

  • @TheAmal89 right.

  • Yoga is a great path.

    No doubt it gives enlightenment.

  • As far as I know drugs (when I say drugs I mean psychedelic substances) are only useful in providing a glimpse of something larger stranger and beautiful. They are a quick easy and potentially dangerous method to (briefly) attain ecstatic spiritual states of consciousness. It's better to devote yourself to mind control techniques such as pranayama, yoga, and meditation and perhaps supplement these practices with psychedelics occaisionally. To be dependent on any substance is a hindrance. I know

  • Chotoun key kaami nahi. Ek dohndo, haazar miltay haien. India may logon chotieya ba na nay wala ho, Jaanta cotieya bun ja tey. Sawami, Babay, Guru, Sadhu sab PAKHANDI haien. India key JAANTA wakeup don't be fooled by these scum bags. Use your mind and ignore these and SAI BABA type.

  • he looks like an indian old pusher, talking about new stuff he has

  • pranayama is the fastest way to clear and cleanse the inner worlds toxic substances that form from desires and unhealthy ego... senses of lower self. I beg everyone on earth to learn more about pranayama practice from real teachers and live your life, not someone else's. LOVE

  • onecenter1 thank you, those are real Internet uploads !!!

  • @onecenter1

Is there a video that you have or can upload of the Pranayama yoga exercise that Himalayan Yoga Swami is talking about in this video?

Thank you, would greatly appreciate it!

  • I've been practising Pranayama for about a year, the correct way, and the results are powerful and amazing. Life has become clear and alongside meditation, the answers to all of my questions unfold before me. It is something truly to behold. Hopefully more people will practise these. You will definately bring calmness and personal strength, if nothing else, into your life. Like the swami says, take your time... Happy practising!!!

  • @Jolene8 what do you mean by the "correct way" because I still don't know if I'm doing it right or not :(

  • "he practises twenty four hours a day" no he dosent hes not practising there...

  • Comment removed

  • This guy is absolutely correct in everything that has been said. Have gone through & experienced exactly the same. He basically is saying, you will experience genetically altering changes that fix your predispositions that you usually would inherit through your parents and through the environment/lifestyle, etc. After around 6-9months, depends on your level of advancement (Remember: Yoga is Symmetry) you will see tangible physiological changes.

He's the only guy that shares my view for years.

  • i wish he cud speak english better...its hard to keep track

  • @lolointro1 just read and listen pay more intention

  • what was the name of that pranayam he said at the end... very nice to listen to ::))

  • accidently clicked dislike, sorry

  • What is it that you are practicing?

  • can anyone share the pranayam he is talking about that one should practice for 3 hours daily? there are so many pranayam exercises on the internet.

  • @joshrain1 just a guess but id say hes talking about a kundalini pranayam like kriya yoga. that is regarded as the best and highest pranayam by yogis. in taoism they have a similar technique called microcosmic orbit.

  • I have found that pranayama appears to bring about an altered state of perception. Through contrasting this altered state with my usual daily perception I have gained a sense of the subjectivity of perception.

I am experiencing the data from my nervous system and nothing else. By modifying the nervous system (by drugs, yoga, sensory deprivation etc etc) we are able to modify the reality that we inhabit.

I can fully understand why so much of it is illegal, it is a massive threat to the rulers.

  • Thank you for passing the messages. Highly appreciated!

  • You should do it in order to explain to yourself the benefit. This video is the first stage of your practice if you've never tried pranayam. Do it and you will forget about this world and see the beautiful space consciousness. NEW WORLD. Pure peace. Pure happiness. Kundalini will awake and ... JUST TRY IT !

  • yoga is union. it is not meant to be used for siddhis or poweres. looking younger, healing, theses are all things that can feed the ego. once you gain a siddhi you must let it go, once you have let go of your desires and specifically that of powere you will have all the siddhis...

  • pranayama if done wrongly destroys health and no yoga book describes it correctly.but if done rightly you can have anything you want:)to became young again, look beatiful heal others see tehir minds and emotions and so on.and be full of ectasy all day along:)

  • @supralee I gave you a thumbs-up for that! Because there are so many different systems (of yoga), and all are supposedly "better" than the other.

Pure dedication to health is the way -- not dogma, not a specific method.

Experimenting with techniques is good, but I think everyone will have to be more creative and develop their own methods.

Oxygen can only do so much to your body, and increased intake of oxygen has been shown to constrict blood vessels. Experiments and careful observation is vital

  • this is not oxygen provlem but breathing exercises creates body warm and some of the redirect and use bodywarm of your own body so if you took something from one part and redirect it to anothere there happens immediately problem in your body were you took that energy..

  • @supralee Well, if this theoretical framework of yours can really be applied to reach health for anyone, how come I haven't heard of it?

It sounds like some simplistic eastern philosophy.

While science is constantly giving us new data which we can use to our benefit -- while all the while doing our best anyways of course.

Different breathing exercises creates different movements of bodily fluids and flow of oxygen and metabolic waste products.

  • @meisisme its simple.body works on warm and breathing creates it. the more you have that the more stronger u became if you dont use artificial breathing you can turn back old age, and even became full of orgasm 24 hours a day:)

  • he is right.. pranayam will change lot of things and prepare you for all of the next stages in ashtanga yoga..

  • If one uses an outside rhythm, a song or someone else's breathing to time theirs to thus staying conscious, for an entire night, these amazing states of mind can be reached.

Beware all interested in the strange things this man is saying: He just might not be full of shit, and the real question then will be how will you function in society, with your family and friends and co workers, while experiencing unbelievable things that'll change you forever?

Go with caution, and go slow, but consistent

  • What this man is saying is very real but can only be understood through practice, and it's very easy to go a whole lifetime without an "eye opening" experience. Drug prohibition and religious conditioning have done a good job at keeping people from their potential.

  • @TheUtuber00

ya lsd and dmt make you one with universe

  • sacred mushrooms and ganja as well!

  • @Julipapa

true but I gotta be honest I dunno about Swami but in general I notice a lot of people have an experience and explain it as if they are in that state all the time or can reach it with a sober meditation when I know that's not true yes I'm sure many have but a lot seem to grasp onto the concept

  • False. A part of this pranayama is total detachment of thinking processes and drugs do just that. Although artificially, it changes nothing. It can be understood by anyone. Addict or not. I am in a constant meditative state, when I work, converse, socialize, get upset, am calm etc...no one needs to "pratice" this. They can just do it, intentionally, without any experience whatsoever. @TheUtuber00

  • @shdw2k6 < You may be a natural adept. Babies do it naturally and develop fear responses later and then become shallow breathers. Some rituals of Yoga are actually detoxifying on many levels and every experiencer knows that.

Drugs are taxing to the body and mind and such addictions get carried to one's next life times; also there is a danger of getting possessed by demonic entities.

Mr. Swami may not be marketing (?) but who knows.

  • @Zeno1999

What you mention at the end of you're reply is emotional manipulation at its best. But, you define it like a fearful person would. Nothing physical can detoxify you. These practices are idealizations of physical actions as detoxifying agents. The emotional and physical feelings of these practices are meant to be substitutes to those who can't bring themselves out of conditional thinking. One who is enlightened is void of belief and idealization.

  • @shdw2k6 < U r quick to judge; no intention to manipulate anyone here on my part, it's my skepticism.

Synthetic drugs are dangerous and there is no need for these if one just learns proper yogic way to get enlightened.

  • @TheUtuber00 Yes, through practise...then u know u would probably describe it with words the way he did also. Its such a basic but essential tool! Just do it and thats it. No need for words.

  • great message

i dont doubt that Swami Sundaranand, can travel outside his body in Spirit and show others through practice,
