this is not highlights video. It was an 'alternative' film of 90 mins to show 1 of 22 players. Anyone who has played or watched football knows how much time is spent without the ball-walking jogging changing direction waiting for free kicks etc.Best is not unfit or overweight, just not a skinny 18 yr old kid anymore. If all games had been recorded as they are now, a compilation of George Best from the sixties would, believe me go beyond anything you have ever seen. I was lucky to see him at Nottingham and old Trafford on several occasions and even when he didn t totally dominate the game you would see his brilliance.

The ideal was for him to be brilliant but your team won !

Everyone man man and his dog says if he didn't play for N.Ireland then who knows, but 37 caps and 9 goals is ok. Let's face it Roger Milla took the Cameroonians further internationally. 1. I've seen one player carry entire teams before - GB didn't really do that for N.I.

Movement and off the ball work are vital (I'm a central midfielder, I know all about lack of movement from teammates - granted not on pro level) but if we all take your line if thinking then Javier Hernandez is ALREADY one of history's best ever.
