A splendid 8-CD-box, "Komplet & rariteter", was released last spring, containing virtually everything they recorded as Laban from 1982-1988, all in remastered versions. Especially the bonus-CD with lots of previously unreleased tracks are worth a listen! The box-set is available at cdon.

The song was actually not made for Laban in the first place, but composed by Lecia, with danish lyrics by her and Ivan, to the danish heat of ESC in 1984, where she performed solo (the video...) and came no.5.

This english version was later reworked in 1986 with a refined arrangement, and given english lyrics, again by Lecia & Ivan, for the B-side of their world-hit "Love in Siberia", and for inclusion on their first english LP, "Caught by surprise", released may 1986.

A very good song. The production sounds really like 'One of us' from Abba, but that's okay, cause that's a beautiful song too.

I am bit jealous of the nice Danish bands from which I cannot find any music here in Belgium (like Laban with leadsinger Lecia); have affection for Scandinavians :).

I think the Danish lyrics differ in a great way i think.

Nice to listen to this English version of the Danish song 'Det 'r en hem'lighed' (Det er en hemmelighed (It's a secret)).
