  • Bro, they sell those already roasted and seasoned and they are cheap too....

  • I don't like nori at all.

Made onigiris today, they were perfect, but the nori destroyed it all D:

    Ughhh

  • That intro... majestic.

  • Yeah kill those emzymes. :D

  • This shit is nasty!

  • Does anyone know where to get Nori thats not from anywhere near Japan ? in lue of recent events there even Korean waters have detected minute levels of radioactive isotopes

  • Don't forget more than 3 sheets a day is bad; The high iodine amount can cause thyroid dysfunction;)

    So have fun eating

  • Rather fishy tasting!

    Needs cayenne pepper.

  • to me, Nori tastes like ocean scum...

I LOVE seafood, but Nori tastes like crap to me....

  • @Zarthga for a sec i thought it said cum

  • @Omellykim I'm a dude, i would't know what cum tastes like.

  • "the year 2010 the uplaod date oct 13 2009"

  • Minimalism costs.

  • I did this in a toaster oven. Nothing tastes worse than burnt nori...the third batch turned out awesome. :)

  • My gawd I love seaweed....

  • Love the nori snacks! Just bought some Sea's Gift snacks for 99 cents for a single serving...and now I can make my own!!! One of the most nutritious things you can eat, people! Thanks, Mr. Bittman!

  • All I could think of is that famous line. "Soylen green is made of peoples!"

  • what did he mean by lather rinse repeat? :S

  • figure of speach, pretty much just repeat everything he did, well not everything

  • LOL. i found it hard to do *sarcasm*

  • Absolutely enjoyed this video! Now i know what to do with my leftover sheets of Nori. Domo!!

  • it's much better if you use sesame oil.. one of the korean traditional side dish!

  • YUM!

  • Mmm... Nori, reminds me of onigiri!

  • The scrawny vegetarians will love this one

  • eff that, i'm basically a carnivore but nori is one of the tastiest things i've ever eaten, almost tastes like crabs.

  • The best way to do this recipe is to substitute the water with the sesame seed oil. This is how most Asians eat this snack.

  • dude I love you. this show is the best

  • I like this idea. Keep up the videos! And how does one tag a channel in the video name?

  • haha. I eat this aall the time :)

  • Dude... this is weak sauce. Do it like the Koreans do. Keep the sheet INTACT. Instead of water use sesame oil, LIGHT coating. Sprinkle salt Toast in oven or over open flame if you got skills. Cut into squares and eat or use them to pinch a bit of white rice abd shove into mouth. Either that or you can go to Korean grocers and buy premade packs these. Stupid delicious. It's kid food in Korea for especially for moms with kids who are picky eaters.

  • Nori is Japanese, not korean

  • the word is Japanese but Seaweed is used in a lot of countries

  • That's sort of like saying "bread" is English... call it bread, pain, or brot... it's the same thing. I actually looked this up and Korean records for this stuff goes back to 600's(Shilla dynasty) whereas Japanese didn't call this "nori" until the Edo period which is only 1600's.

  • "Kheem" aka "Nori" is actually an algae not seaweed. Seaweed's are also delicious though. I love seaweed.

  • exactly! it tastes best when toasting above an open flame on the stove... but you need that metal cooking contraption designed for it.

  • You can just do it over your a saute pan.

  • that's true, but i meant that to cook it directly above an open flame you need that metal contraption.
