  • do you just throw the tube and drag it or what kind of reeling techniques do you use

  • Excellent video. Searched how to rig a tube, and found exactly what I needed.

  • providers 4 inch work of art color tube with their 1/4'' tube jig is my favorite lure it is the best tube your money can buy. they are awsome.

  • me and my brother went to lake erie last year going for bass. we went to a buoy which had many other boats around it. we never usually fish for bass usually walleye but i only caught one bass and people around me were pulling them up every cast. any tips? and mine was on a spinnerbait which i didnt even think i would catch anything on. nice vid btw!

  • @iconzCree I pulled a 2 pounder yesterday on a spinner. Really just depends on where you are. Rubber worms are usually your best bet though.

  • hmm i texas rig mine

  • @philly442 same.

  • haha ive fished on lake st.claire alot. my family lives like right there. great place for big largemouth bass and smallies.

  • ive been using senkos, and m durious about using the tube, i wanna ask you to see if i should try one here in florida, i really need and answer because i rarely get to go bass fishing and i dont wanna go out and wast time when i could be catching, please answer!!! thanks

  • Tube fishing is excellent in Florida when the bass are on beds or in thick cover and you are flipping. I don't use them much there besides that.

We use them mostly in lightly weeded lakes with gravel/sand/rock mix. Great Lakes are hard to be when throwing a tube!

    Thanks,

  • will bass bite on a all red tube?

  • it really depends on a bunch of factors, water temp time of year and water conditons if it is clear water use more earth and natural tones but if it is murky water use brighter colors and if its spawning time they'll bite just about everything

  • Bass will bite on ANYTHING when they are triggered by a reaction bite or HUNGRY....Red would represent crawfish in some parts of the country. I've personally never used one!

    Thanks,

  • so a far cast is not ideal with tube baits, or it depends?

  • in clear water, it doesn't hurt to cast far but in many situations here on Lake St. Clair or the Great Lakes, these fish will actually bite the tube right under the boat or just a short cast away! That's when it's fun!

    Thanks,

    Art Ferguson

  • lol i tried one today and i couldnt get it to run right it was doing circles as i pulled it in.. :-/

  • You didn't have it rigged up correctly then. I guarantee it won't do circles if you line up the eye with the point of the hook when bringing it through the body....I've been throwing these even before I came up with the company and have thrown 50,000 cast at least with them....Thanks!

  • nice tip wish the vid quality was better

  • Great tips man

  • Thank you...sorry for taking so long to reply to these!

  • Nice video John.

    Cheers Aussie Steve

  • thank you!

  • Wont the little hole peice poking out fall back out and get messed up?

  • no because when he put the jig in he poked the hook through the tube to straighten the hook

  • Watch it again...not sure what you are asking...there is no hole piece?

    Thanks,

    Art Ferguson

  • @hellyer56 oh i think u mean the eye, he poked the eye thru8 the tube, it wont pop out if ur jig and tube are sized proportionately, well unless u cacth so many fish that the tube gets ripped up, then just switch it out =]

  • cool i love bass fishing

  • SWEET!!
