For a REAL cheat, go play through the Moria level again and fight at the Orc Drum part where 3-4 orcs spawn from the crevice and KEEP fighting them .( more will spawn) *hint* Berethor's buffs are incredibly useful. You'll get enough exp and enough skill points to master practically all 4 of the chacters you have at that point...
I grinded for 5 days, and just one single triple attack felled the Balrog

Nice vid. This game was awesome, but it was basically a joke in terms of difficulty. You can just basically spam Idrial's Aura of the Valor if you want and not have to think about 99% of the fights in this game.

Secondly, the reason that he was using them attacks and taking ages is because he wanted to make a longer video where he could show off his characters not just win in minutes.
Just forget about Berethor, Hadhod, and Elegost. keep Idrial and Gandalf alive. use Aura of the valar on Idrial and then on gandalf, keep gandalf atacking use wizrds drain if needed. do this and you should be fine. under 6 min. you'll be able to defeat the Balrog of morgoth. one of the easiest boss. Sauron's pain in the ass he keeps using Paralysis of light and darkest fear.
Fear isn't a problem, after some time in the game, Berethor get's immume for Fear, so cast 'Taunt Foe', and Berethor gets the Fear, noone else, but because he's immume, the Fear doesn't have effect on anybody xD
he kept fighting the same enemies over and over (no life) i beat the game on hard and i never got the water stallion. cool move but not a necessary one
I allways use anor murshrooms on gandalv. And then use undure of shadow. And idreal i use aura of the valar on her selv and gandalv and just use bolt of the valar.
i remember my first time fighting him...it was basically just idrial and gandalf. idrial kept herself and gandalf alive while gandalf forcefully applied the dps.
Hey if you want to protect your crew from dying, Just get Idrial to cast 'Aura of the Valar' and then Berethor to do 'Last Gasp'. Thats how we roll in the shire.
this was actually very easy in hard mode if you equip idrial with an ancient elfstone of spirit. Yes, it will lower HP and AP(can't remember bout AP) but the % of damage increase outweighs the cons. For what it's worth, just use loudwater Fury (better damage to AP ratio). Have fun, on you go to east emnit gullies lol
I guess the only thing you can do is to get Eoden to cast 'dispel' which totally throws morgul mirrow out the window. Also whoever has an Elfstone of fell shadow equipped can do that move too(unfortuantely it only targets one dude rather than all your enimies). As far as escaping damage goes I suppose not, unless you do an attack that drains health, so you don't lose as much health as if you just attacked normally. Tricky..

Do you want an easy way to defeat balrog? Do you want Hadhod be IMMUNE to balrogs powers? Here is the answer!!! Make with Gandalf Endure shadow, with Hadhod Endure flame, with Berethor company resistance, company might, company valor, and felowship grace, and with Idrial make aura of the valar and heal all. The balrog will hit Hadhod of 0 or Immune and the others for 300-400 damage. Make sure Hadhod has the dragon helmet and the belt that has resistance to fire spirit and so he is heroic to fire
How do you beat all those goblins once you have seen the clip of the balrog destroying the bridge? I have watched the clip of the Balrog climbing the wall then some goblins appear. How do you beat them. Can any1 help?
i saved a perfect mode (arrow volley) for this part which helped kill 2-3 goblins. i used hadhod, berethor and idrial. i used idrial to reheal the other 2 while they used melee on the goblins. i kept idrial mostly facing away from the goblins to wheel around less. when one was dyeing i used hadhods brick wall thing on the dyeing person and then when i could used a healing item on them.
lol i saved my game on save file 2 (0%) on save file 1 (99%)... and somehow, hadhods 220 damage hammer is still there :p i hit like 4000 on him with normal attack
if your characters have the following abilities i think you have been able to handle the fight more effectively: Berethor's "Royal Grace" "Fellowship Grace" and some other leadership ability whose name i forget which increases endurance to all elements, in combination with Hadhod's Endure Flame, Mountain Shield, and maybe Devasting Shield and Gandalf's Endure Shadow would greatly reduce the damage done by Balrog while giving them a little health and AP so you dont have to rely on Wizard Drain as
much and keep Gandalf specifically for attacking only unless its necessary to use Wizard's Drain. Idrial i always use for her healing special powers and Aura of the Valar, because for me during boss battles its essential to keep everyone alive. Especially when fighting the Nazgul and Witch-King. But her spirit attacks on the Balrog do much less damage than Berethor's Ecthelion Rage or Gondorian Rampage or Hadhod's multi-damaging melee attacks. Haste of the Elves though helps a lot because i...
particularly want to inflict as much damage as possible with Berethor or Hadhod (and in this fight Gandalf). Idrial also has another special power which is similiar to Berethor's War Cry.
The battle would obviously take a bit longer, but in the fights with the Haradrim, Nazgul, Mordor Orcs and Trolls, and Oliphaunts you want to inflict as much damage as possible while have the maximum amount of physical, moral (Shield of Courage for this one), and elemental protection as can be.
Grind around , when your in the small pass that leads to the door *Aragorn battle* you grind lvl ,and get more skills , and i mean grind hard , i did 50hours of play time to push my chars at lvl 99 ... so with that lvl .. well i could say that it was easy. But still i recomment grinding before battling .
why do u use whater stallon? its the same thing as loudwater fury exept it attacks all the enemies. and sice balrog is only one(duh) u should use loudwater fury.
tip: use aura of valar on a charachter so it will revive if it dies(idrial learns it)

hmm. wondering why u didn't attack with berethor, did you do evil mode in osgiliath and save it to that file to get sword of isildur? it helps a bunch, and if you do that with one of his multiple attacks, it's pretty nice! did it on medium though...

Um, I witnessed ur battle. But u still have some things 2 learn. Listen, if any of ur allies are on very low hp then u need 2 heal them with Idriels healing powers. But u need 2 make sure that u got the right moves. Increase ur stats, learn new moves, then go after the balrog. Listen, if u or anybody else needs any tips or help in the game please dont hesitate 2 ask. I will be more then happy enough 2 guide u and anybody else.

I beg 2 differ. Hadhod is good 4 protecting u with his shields. Take Stone and Damaging shield 4 example. Idriel is kinda weak but her spirit powers like Loudwater fury is good. But its a good idea 2 use berethors Leadership skills 2 aid ur allies. Use his Company might 2 increase ur teams attack, then use ur Fellowship Grace 2 up ur AP. Just Idriel by herself is useless. U need the skills and aid of ur allies as well. U know, some of yaw could learn a lot from me. Need help? Just ask me.

The balrog will hit Hadhod of 0 or Immune and the others for 300-400 damage. Make sure Hadhod has the dragon helmet and the belt that has resistance to fire spirit and so he is heroic to fire

How do you beat all those goblins once you have seen the clip of the balrog destroying the bridge? I have watched the clip of the Balrog climbing the wall then some goblins appear. How do you beat them. Can any1 help?

i saved a perfect mode (arrow volley) for this part which helped kill 2-3 goblins. i used hadhod, berethor and idrial. i used idrial to reheal the other 2 while they used melee on the goblins. i kept idrial mostly facing away from the goblins to wheel around less. when one was dyeing i used hadhods brick wall thing on the dyeing person and then when i could used a healing item on them.

lol i saved my game on save file 2 (0%) on save file 1 (99%)... and somehow, hadhods 220 damage hammer is still there :p i hit like 4000 on him with normal attack

if your characters have the following abilities i think you have been able to handle the fight more effectively: Berethor's "Royal Grace" "Fellowship Grace" and some other leadership ability whose name i forget which increases endurance to all elements, in combination with Hadhod's Endure Flame, Mountain Shield, and maybe Devasting Shield and Gandalf's Endure Shadow would greatly reduce the damage done by Balrog while giving them a little health and AP so you dont have to rely on Wizard Drain as

much and keep Gandalf specifically for attacking only unless its necessary to use Wizard's Drain. Idrial i always use for her healing special powers and Aura of the Valar, because for me during boss battles its essential to keep everyone alive. Especially when fighting the Nazgul and Witch-King. But her spirit attacks on the Balrog do much less damage than Berethor's Ecthelion Rage or Gondorian Rampage or Hadhod's multi-damaging melee attacks. particularly want to inflict as much damage as possible with Berethor or Hadhod (and in this fight Gandalf). Idrial also has another special power which is similiar to Berethor's War Cry.
The battle would obviously take a bit longer, but in the fights with the Haradrim, Nazgul, Mordor Orcs and Trolls, and Oliphaunts you want to inflict as much damage as possible while have the maximum amount of physical, moral (Shield of Courage for this one), and elemental protection as can be.

Grind around , when your in the small pass that leads to the door *Aragorn battle* you grind lvl ,and get more skills , and i mean grind hard , i did 50hours of play time to push my chars at lvl 99 ... so with that lvl .. well i could say that it was easy. But still i recomment grinding before battling .

why do u use whater stallon? its the same thing as loudwater fury exept it attacks all the enemies. and sice balrog is only one(duh) u should use loudwater fury.
tip: use aura of valar on a charachter so it will revive if it dies(idrial learns it)

hmm. wondering why u didn't attack with berethor, did you do evil mode in osgiliath and save it to that file to get sword of isildur? it helps a bunch, and if you do that with one of his multiple attacks, it's pretty nice! did it on medium though...

Um, I witnessed ur battle. But u still have some things 2 learn. Listen, if any of ur allies are on very low hp then u need 2 heal them with Idriels healing powers. But u need 2 make sure that u got the right moves. Increase ur stats, learn new moves, then go after the balrog. Listen, if u or anybody else needs any tips or help in the game please dont hesitate 2 ask. I will be more then happy enough 2 guide u and anybody else.

no offense but i personally preffer to go through the game randomly and not train it gets annoying and makes the game more challenging. However on the balrog fight you onmly have to keep idrial and gandalf alive the other characters are near useless

I beg 2 differ. Hadhod is good 4 protecting u with his shields. Take Stone and Damaging shield 4 example. Idriel is kinda weak but her spirit powers like Loudwater fury is good. But its a good idea 2 use berethors Leadership skills 2 aid ur allies. Use his Company might 2 increase ur teams attack, then use ur Fellowship Grace 2 up ur AP. Just Idriel by herself is useless. U need the skills and aid of ur allies as well. U know, some of yaw could learn a lot from me. Need help? Just ask me.

yeah but in the fight the other characters are pretty much useless only gandalf does ,uch damage keep idrial to kjeep him alive and your good those are the two MOST important otherwise yes all the characters are good
