  • What language is this?

  • rock on bro! hope to see you in bakersfield again soon

  • you can immagine his story is fals if you see that he was converted at twenty.it takes some yrs to become a witch in the church of satan.it doesnt come easily.so that means he could have gone to the church of satan for two yrs because at eighteen you are welcome in the church of satan.not before as it is a choice that only an adult can make.i still dont understand why people find the need to tell sensational stories to convert ppl.

  • Amen. I've stood in front of him and felt the spirit of God from him. An aithiest isn't gonna want to feel that. I pray for the unbelievers to find Jesus Christ before they die and it's too too too very late at that point.

  • Oh, he's never lied in church, has he? I can testify otherwise--not from Google or the internet, but right in front of me in person.

  • I have no Idea whether he lied or not. it is not my place to judge. I do know that he has used his God given talent of comedy to bring people closer to God. and for that I will always be grateful. I also know that people stretch the truth all the time. And not one person is 100% perfect. so if believe 100% of what he says it is not his fault it is theirs. The purpose of ministry and sermons is to praise God's word, make you think and make choices

  • In 1994 I played an audio of 'The satan seller' to a 18 yr old girl we had been witnessing 2 for months without any success AT ALL. I got hold of Mike's audio's before any of us knew there were 'issues'. When it got to the barnstorming end I looked up at this girl sat on my couch and she was sobbing her heart out, and the first words out of her mouth were, "I want what you and this guy have got". God Almighty is bigger than Mike Warnke's lies and fabrications! Pls remember the ASS!!

  • @chrisinblackpool still what happens if she finds out she converted on a lie?i dont think itll stand.anything build on a lie doesnt hold.it confirms what i have always thought.to a christian it doesnt matter whether they built on lies or truth as long as they can believe in something and run away from their own responsability.

  • What makes you think this is thie only thing that made me lose faith?

  • He may as well have claimed to be a deity. He lied about being a satanist.

  • funny man...this is not funny though. too bad he made some mistakes in his past, i guess that would make him a HUMAN, not that he ever claimed to be a deity.

  • THIS GUY IS A GIANT FRAUD. G00GLE MIKE WARNKIE & read for yourselves.

  • Mike is great a very funny man. I could give a crap less if he lied or not the man is good at what he does. Regardless he probably has effected people in good ways. I hope all the unholy christian that read this are very offended because you are going to hell with all the non believers for not practicing what you preach. Yeah think about that, I'm talking about the people that shove god in everyones face and turn there back on anyone that does not practice the exact same way they do. Bless Mike

  • It is really sad that christians kill their wounded. I was a good samaritan and bound up his wounds with my prayers and kept loving him before I ever met Mike. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God every day so we have no right to judge. We should pray and continue to love because Jesus died for all our sins and gave us his grace for when we fall. Remember from where you came from lest you fall. Blessed are the merciful for you shall obtain mercy.

  • At that time I was in Jacksonville Fla. God reconciled my friend to me and my family moved back to Va. Then the Lor did a wonderful thing he answered my prayer and I got to meet Mike face to face and give him my testimony in a letter I had written in Fla during my time of trial. The enemy nearly destroyed him. He said he had wanted to die he had a gun and he told the Lord He had to daily give him more reasons to live than to die or he was pulling the trigger. The Lord answered his prayer.

  • @MiracleCookie - Also, Warnke's critics weren't "enemies", they were fellow Christians who wanted answers about his false testimony and defrauding the faithful...maybe if Warnke had told the truth and come clean rather than desperately clinging to his discredited bio, he could've diffused the backlash that followed the Cornerstone article. Oh, and no one here's judging him...last I checked, people were saying Warnke should own up to his past misdeeds, not that he should burn in hell for them.

  • Whats more he gave me faith to stand in the storm until the Lord brought my son home who had been missing for almost 5yrs. I was in the midst of another trial a dear friend rejected me and I was in the bible book store hoping to find a Mike Warnke tape when I was told his minstry fell. I stood weeping and the Lord impressed upon my heart to pray for him. He is mine he showed me. Pray for him. Don't judge this precious man of God lest you be judged. I prayed to meet Mike and tell him my testimony

  • love brother mike when my life was falling apart his incrediable comedic talent from God hepled me to stand. When my child was missing and my world was falling apart and I was in such a state of grief Mike made me laugh. Mike does not wear fivehundred dollar suits and silk ties and fleece the sheep. He never charged a dime for his concerts. He took love offereings only. Whats more the way he taught the word made was like planting seed in my heart. I grew to love the Lord so much through him.

  • @MiracleCookie - "Mike does not wear fivehundred dollar suits and silk ties and fleece the sheep"...so how do you explain his 2 houses, 2 condos, private plane, various antiques, and other material goods he owned during his 1980s glory days? Or the fact that, despite fundraising letters claiming donations were down, Warnke, his ex-wife and her brother took in a combined salary of close to $1M yearly during that time? Sounds like the kind of people Jesus threw out of the temple.

  • Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone! None of you, not even I am without sin and what Warnke might've done is only between him and God, not to be judged by ANY MAN! If you judge him, you yourself are commiting sins as bad as those you are judging him for! I listened to many of Warnke's concerts and his stories were an inspiration to me and those that I knew back in the 80's, he was one of the many people that God used to bring me closer to Him. I pray for you all.

  • I was very disappointed when I heard about his deception. I really looked up to him as a kid, he was my favorite. Now when I listen to him, it's clouded by the falseness behind it, I can't take him seriously(as a comedian, LOL). But, what he has done in no way effects my relationship with Christ or my church.

Matthew 7:15- Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Don't let 1 mans sins turn you away from God.

  • *thief

  • To BillyJr68; that's kind of like saying you disowned everyone in your family because you found out your cousin was a theif

  • danke fur Postsendung

  • he just is a good person that i listen to on cd and he is really good if you dont like mike then stay off his page thats so simple to do simple as cherry pie as said in his cd mike warkne out of my mind and i think you are all out of your mind by judging him you dont judge tv actors or singers for doing things wrong so why judge him give him a chance

  • @heartcat2011 - When someone spends 20 years evading responsibility for having lied about their testimony AND defrauding the faithful out of a couple million dollars (which Warnke claimed was supporting an underground rescue mission for at-risk youth, but really just funded his lavish lifestyle), they're prone to being judged.

  • Forgiveness from God is dependant on repentence. Jesus said, "unless you repent, you shall likewise perish."

Mike continues to affirm his lies of being a Satanist High Priest. Mike continues to live in an adulterous 'marriage' (last report I read, he may be, again, divorced) Mike has yet to repent of these sins, while DEMANDING the we all accept his lies. His frindes and girlfriends of his supposed Satanic life affirm that he had nothing of the sort in his life

    He continues to lie!

  • Mike Warnke was one of the most talented comedians I have ever seen. I think he he is absolutely briliant. I could care less what he did or didn't do outside of church doors. This man led thousands to Christ through his remarkable talent. As a child I watched people run to the altar in tears...looking for a SAVIOR. There is no doubt that God used Mike and continues to use him today. I don't care if all the stories were false. He led many to Christ & the stories were both Creative & Hilarious.

  • I hear these comments on some of you calling him a fraud. I'm a spiritual person, I personally don't follow organized religion. I don't judge people, we all have made mistakes, but even if he had gone down a wrong direction, It's not for me to judge! But if a man can touch your heart, and bring you joy and help you find peace, than is he such a bad man?? His heart is truly in the right place. I've seen him in concert and he truly touched my heart. Hey, he didn't even ask for money!!

  • Mikey Warnke sure has balls! After complete exposure as a FRAUD he still preys on the guilible, stupid and frightened! He only preaches to the ignorant Hispanics who can't read the facts about what a thorough piece of garbage he truly is!

  • I beleived everything that Mike Warnke said in his "Alive" album and in his book "The Satan Seller"....How he was a satanist high priest with a covenent of 1500 people in his "covenent who would jump like a bunch of frogs whenever I snapped my fingers".

I did a google search today and found that everything he claimed was false. How he mistreated the women he was married to and how he acted away from the stage when people weren't watching.

And it affirmed that me leaving the church was right.

  • @BillyJr68 I know Mike personally. many of the claims made against him were false, but even if they were true, he is still a human being. Put your trust in God, not in any man.

  • @kb3mkd "Put your trust in God, not in any man." The default answer/defense for any evangelist/minister who gets busted. Ranks right up there with 'pay no attention to the man behind the curtain....'

  • @BillyJr68 wow, that's weak if one man can make you loose faith in God.

  • @BillyJr68 I also heard the Alive album and read the Satan Seller as a young teenager in the midst moving from one parent to the other and being VERY confussed and hence in trouble ALL the time with my Dad and step mom. And then years later finding out that what he said about HIS life was not true, That doesn't mean that what he said about the bible and Gods love for us is untrue also. Dont leave the church and blame Mike Warnke for mis leading you . Get back into the word n follow the istrcs

  • @Masondtt I didn't leave the church because of Mike Warnke.......I left because I came to the conclusion that it's all bullshit.

  • And what's all this talk about Warnke's ministry being "gone"? Last I checked, Celebrations of Hope (the legit outreach group he and his wife formed following the collapse of Warnke's corrupt pre-1992 ministry) was still going strong.

Finally, all the report said on Warnke's alleged Satanic past was that "testimony was presented that validates involvement w/the occult", w/o elaborating...not exactly a convincing argument that he was telling the truth.

  • I don't understand how any true Christian can judge another, shouting that they are better than another.

  • Correction. Warnke claimed that he had 1,500 members in the covern, before claiming that it was only 13. That is still a pretty big stretch and it still compromises his credibilitiy.

  • I "heard about" the debunk, but I've never read anything of it to examine it for myself. Have you?

  • Good to see you again, Mike! Read ur book "Satan Seller" years ago after I got saved and watched and loved a couple video's u've put out, but seemed to lost touch...Was nice to see you here on youTube in recent. Keep on keep on going with Jesus, Brother! You've been a better witness than u realise. Stay close....Love n hugs!

  • @kamper8 I hate to break it to you buddy, but the Satan Seller has been long debunked by a Christian called Cornerstone.

  • @Thomaspain85 Actually, he wasn't debunked, he was attacked by a MAGAZINE called Cornerstone. Mike submitted to a tribunal of elders who had no bias toward Mike nor Conerstone. After their impartial investigation they concluded that Mike was indeed involved in the occult and that Cornerstone was less than fair and less than honest in their "expose". Mike had some problems in his ministry, but lying wasn't one of them. If you want to read the official findings, they're available on the web.

  • @HooseBinPharteen

Yeah, keep telling yourself that. He once claimed that he was the head of a Satanic cult that had 10,000 members and then he later retracted his claim that it was only ten. That alone should compromise his credibility. He also created a fictional character that he called Jeffy or Jiffy or whatever his name was, which he used to extort donations from the people who attended his sermons to put an end to so-called Satanic Ritual Abuse, which has long been debunked..

  • @Thomaspain85

By the way, maybe you can tell me where I can find these so-called findings on the web.

  • @Thomaspain85 I'm sorry he seems to have made you so bitter. Is it him, or Christianity in general? The only reason I ask is, I just googled for it and obtained it in less than 2 minutes. Anyone who is really interested would have found it already. Youtube doesn't seem to allow links, so just google mike wanke tribunal and look for the pdf. Either way, who cares? Honestly. It's been nearly 20 years, He made several big mistakes, he acknowledged it, he submitted to authority and he moved on.

  • @HooseBinPharteen If you still can't seem to find it, let me know where I can email the pdf to and I'll do so. But I'm not sure it'll soothe anything for you anyway, and I'm sorry to hear that. Even back when I listened to him and read his book, I could tell where he was out in left field, and I could also tell where he was right on the money. I took the good, tossed the rest. If anyone believes ANYONE hook line and sinker, then I have no idea what to tell them. Either way, I wish you the best.

  • @HooseBinPharteen - Actually, Warnke didn't acknowledge it...he continues to maintain that his long-debunked "ex-Satanic high priest" bit was true, and his pre-1992 ministry (the one that paid for his houses, cars, private plane, etc.) was legit. Also, the so-called "tribunal board" was nothing more than a pack of Warnke cronies who not only failed to talk to his HS/college friends or former ministry employees, but admitted they had no way to disprove Cornerstone's findings.

  • Besides, the Cornerstone article wasn't an attack...they provided a "smoking gun" photo which showed that, rather than the long-haired, emaciated addict Warnke claimed to be in the late 60s, he was nothing more than a typical "square" of the era...also, Warnke couldn't have seen Charles Manson @ a coven meeting as he claimed, given that Manson was in federal prison for forgery, not to mention the interviews w/fam and friends that painted a completely different picture than the one Warnke weaved.

  • @WhatsAYak Yeah, I know. I read all of it. I also read the tribunal hearing. Apparently you haven't, if you really believe they were "Mike Warnke's cronies". I'm always amazed at how many Christians who were saved by grace show so little of it to each other. Junkies, yes. Warnke, no. Nearly 20 years have passed and still he receives nothing but animosity. Whether or not they believe he's sticking to a lie doesn't matter. They're supposed to love and forgive him whether he's asked for it or not.

  • @HooseBinPharteen Anyway, this debate is pointless. If people are determined to hate, they're going to hate, and nothing I can say will change that. Everyone wanted to see Warnke disappear. Christians, witches, atheists. Anyway, they got their wish; his ministry is gone. what more do they want? I know: "HE NEEDS TO ADMIT HE WAS LYING." Whatever. To those people, I just say, if you don't like the show, change the channel and move on. Wasting 20 years hating someone is a stupid waste of life.

  • @HooseBinPharteen - No one here hates Warnke (myself included)...in fact, wanting someone to come clean about their past is just the opposite. Remember Jim Bakker? He was also brought down by scandal, but rather than try to erase his past, he fully admitted his past mistakes (even stating his former "prosperity gospel" teachings were wrong) and was welcomed back to the Christian community w/open arms...Warnke could've done the same, but has instead chosen to stick to his story, and that's sad.

  • @HooseBinPharteen

"Wasting 20 years hating someone is a stupid waste of life." One could also say the same about following a proven charlatan.

  • @HooseBinPharteen - Actually, the "tribunal board" members were personally handpicked by Warnke's PR guy (who, in turn, was personally handpicked by Warnke to do damage control in the wake of the Cornertsone article), so it could hardly be said that the board had no ties to Warnke.

And don't forget that Warnke's lies helped fuel the "Satanic Panic" of the 1980s that destroyed innocent lives and tore families apart via false accusations of ritual abuse...was that really worth it?

  • @HooseBinPharteen - Also, forgiveness and accountability aren't mutually exclusive...forgiving Warnke doesn't make him any less responsible for lying and defrauding the faithful, especially if he continues to avoid the subject.

  • Comment removed

  • @HooseBinPharteen

First of all, that lying charlatan does not make me bitter. I just pity the suckers who get conned by this man. Second of all, I found the transcripts of the so-called Tribunal and to be honest I wasn't that impressed. No where did they provide any evidence of Warnke's claims being true. They just said that Cornerstone was biased towards Warnke. So I guess that I am just supposed to take their word for it and ignore the overwelming evidence that proves otherwise?

  • @Thomaspain85 - Do a search for "Warnke tribunal hearing PDF" and it should come up...it's basically just Warnke copping to such vague sins as "past ungodliness", "being a bad husband/father/friend" and "exaggeration in an attempt to entertain" w/o elaborating, while standing behind his old "ex-Satanic high priest" claim...also, the most the council says about the Cornerstone article is that it was "less than fair in representing the truth" and suggesting "editorial bias".

  • @WhatsAYak It's okay, I've heard these same responses before. If you read it and you came to these conclusions, I'd suggest reading it again if I thought you really would. The paragraphs before the "less than fair" attack by Cornerstone (and I read it; it WAS an attack), you'd see they determined he was involved in the occult. Also, if he "handpicked cronies" to defend him, then he's a terrible picker; they ruled pretty harshly and placed some serious restrictions on him.

  • @HooseBinPharteen But as I said, think what you like; it doesn't matter anymore. His ministry's gone, and he draws a meager salary on what's left; that should make everyone happy. I know his confession isn't the confession that people wanted, but since it was found that he WAS involved in the occult, people are never going to get the outright denial that they were hoping for nor should they. But it's all good. Peace to you.

  • @HooseBinPharteen

It does matter because people continue to follow this lying charlatan and I think that they need to know who they are following. I will believe that he was involved in the occult when actually evidence is provided.

  • @Thomaspain85 Like I said, do whatever you feel you need to do. I've seen many people voice the same sentiments as yourself, so it's not uncommon. Personally I think it's pointless. I haven't thought about him for over 15 years until this youtube posting came up. If I were to persecute every Christian who I didn't feel acts like a Christian, there would be so many targets that I couldn't have a personal life; there would be no time left to live one.

  • @HooseBinPharteen But let's assume for the sake of the discussion that the Cornerstone article was 100% correct and that he was guilty of everything they said. Is it then our job - or even our right - to follow him around and heckle him? If a person who is doing that is a Christian, Biblically speaking, that Christian is standing in quicksand. He's not supported for his actions and in fact is in dangerous territory.

  • @HooseBinPharteen If the persecutor is NOT a Christian, then I'm completely baffled as to why this issue would be so important to them.

Anyway, do what you want. It honestly is of no consequence, not to me, not to Mr. Warnke, not to anybody.

    Have a good one.

  • @HooseBinPharteen

Do you even know the meaning of the word, Persecution? I don't really consider it important, I just think that people should know the truth about a person before they fellow him. If this no consequence to you, then why do you feel the need to defend him?

  • @HooseBinPharteen I'll be honest with you, I am actually not a fan of religion in general. I consider myself to be a modern day Deist. I'm not following him around and heckling him, I am just simply pointing out to people who may not know his past that he is anything, but holy. Even if I was a Christian, how is warning people about Warnke's unsavory past, wrong? So whenever you Christians see a charlatan who is misleading people, you should all just turn a blind eye? That sounds immoral.

  • @HooseBinPharteen

You haven't thought about him in 15 years, but you keep defending him. Interesting.

  • @Thomaspain85 That's a bit of a no-brainer there. If I saw you smacking somebody around, I'd defend that person too, even if I'd never met them before. That doesn't automatically mean that I worship them. The reason I spoke up is because you clearly weren't even aware of the established facts of the case before you decided to start chucking rocks at him. I was just pointing them out to you.

  • @HooseBinPharteen But I had already predicted that you weren't interested in the tribunals findings, and it turns out I was right; you weren't. But if you'll notice in my last few posts, I haven't even been defending him, just tryiing to figure out why this case even bothers you. Especially now that you mention that you aren't a fan of "religion" in general, then why do you care if someone likes to listen to a comedian? Who's responsible for their choice, you or themselves?

  • @HooseBinPharteen For example, I can't stand George Carlin. He started out funny when he was just doing comedy, but as he got older, he got more and more liberal, more and more sour and more and more political, so I just gave up on him. But I don't go around bashing him and trying to keep people from listening to him. Who knows, maybe he's their taste; he's just not mine. But it IS America, and people CAN decide for themselves, and it's no concern of mine, so I just forget about him and move on.

  • @HooseBinPharteen Anyway, this is really pointless. You're not going to change, I'm not going to change, nothing is getting accomplished. Shall we call it quits on this? If you're just looking to get the last word in, go for it; it's really not important to me, and I've never been a fan of web drama, so it's all yours. I still wish you peace.

  • @HooseBinPharteen Thank you, I will have the last word. All the evidence points to the fact that Warnke is a liar and charlatan. He's the type of person that Jesus would have thrown out of the temple. I don't understand how any true Christian can defend a man who won't even own up to everything that he has done.

  • @HooseBinPharteen

George Carlin never tried to defraud anybody nor they did he ever do it in the name of God.

  • @HooseBinPharteen

The tribunal's findings didn't offer any new evidence one way or the other. I was just supposed to take the tribunal's word for everything and ignore overwelming evidence that says otherwise. I was just trying to make sure people know who they are dealing with before they make the choice of whether to follow a certain individual.

  • @HooseBinPharteen

I do know the facts. I have actually done research on the subject. This was the first time that I had seen the Tribunal files, but I found it significant since it didn't offer any new evidence for or against Warnke. Most of the evidence is against Warnke, not for him.

  • @HooseBinPharteen

Actually they weren't harsh enough. They still didn't provide any evidence of Warnke's claims being true. The Cornerstone articles may have attacked Warnke's character, but it was done who some pretty danming evidence.

  • @HooseBinPharteen - How was it an attack? They talked to people who knew Warnke at the time of his alleged occult involvement, wrote an entire sidebar which proved that the timeline depicting Warnke's supposed rise to Satanic power didn't come even remotely close to matching the 1965 calendar, and that his claim of hanging w/Charles Manson was a lie, among other things...and for all the "serious restrictions" imposed on Warnke, he was never required to give a full explanation of his misdeeds.
