Paul said that it was "very American" to argue about the right of secession, as the US colonies themselves seceded from Great Britain. Of course he favors States rights over central government, but I think he belives, law or no law, it is the right of the people of one State to separate from a destructive central government, given the fact that their liberty comes from God and/or by virtue of their humanity, not the legislation of the government.
Where is any of that written into the Bill of Rights or the Constitution of the United States of America? Under United Kingdom rules colonies didn't have a right to seced either, thats called an uprising. He is so intolerant that he wants the states to decide whether or not make abortion legal, he is for the legalization of marihuana and for no illegal wars (invasions). Ron Paul doesn't know his history from a "B" movie. America started its first governement with the Articles of Confederation just after the Revolutionary War and it was based on decentralized government with individual states in charge. It failed, so the Federalist Party and Anti-federalist party duked it out for a bit for a new government. Hence, Anti-feds lost all except for a bit called the "Bill of Rights". Ron Paul once argued Constitutionally that it is a state's right to secceed from the union and this was in reference to a comment by Texas's governor. Paul said that it was "very American" to argue about the right of secession, as the US colonies themselves seceded from Great Britain. Of course he favors States rights over central government, but I think he belives, law or no law, it is the right of the people of one State to separate from a destructive central government, given the fact that their liberty comes from God and/or by virtue of their humanity, not the legislation of the government.

Ron Paul doesn't know his history from a "B" movie. America started its first governement with the Articles of Confederation just after the Revolutionary War and it was based on decentralized government with individual states in charge. It failed, so the Federalist Party and Anti-federalist party duked it out for a bit for a new government. Hence, Anti-feds lost all except for a bit called the "Bill of Rights". you are right that what we do is for the benefit of big business, but the whole monetary system is based on Keynsianism- if the Fed doesn't give the low interest money to the banks and Congress, who is it supposed to give it to.
Keynesian econ can't work because it has a complete disregard for the pricing system; since prices convey more information than any individual or group can possibly know or understand, how can Keynesian spending work?

Keynesian economics can't work. It relies on the idea that you can increase quality of life by digging yourself deeper into debt doesn't work. John Maynard Keynes believes that inflating the money supply and creating false wealth helps make things more productive, but when the day is over, you still had the same amount of real money to work with. The domino of collapse would have continued with no action, it was already happening and according to the economics of the situation would have continued. Having watched a live broadcast of Morning Joe, I can tell you that the producers are asking for the interviewers to break-in and keep the program rolling.
Given the disrespect Dr Paul received during the primaries by Fox news and by Charles Gibson, I have always felt Joe and Mika have treated Dr Paul very well.

Newsweek mag did a story on who saw the crash coming and who didn't. They didn't even mention Ron Paul or Peter Schiff. I think we need to email them and let them know what we think of their story. He wasn't trying to cover up a solution. The federal reserve bank is whats changing the prices, the reserve bank is manipulating the economy. Once Obama gives more power to the reserve it will control us down to our toilet paper.

I was caught up in the bluster and flowery speeches of Obama and voted for him because Bush was so terrible but I realize now...
... that Obama is the spokesperson for the very same banking interests and commercial interests that Bush supported. Different face, different race. Same assholes. Geithner, etc.
