  • Don't just sit here....contact Dr. Paul's people and help start campaigning NOW!! They will mail you literature, give you suggestions on how to effectively campaign and get his name out before the primaries start.

  • It's weird how republicans and democrats disagree about absolutely everything, but far left and far right people actually agree on some things: we need to drastically cut defense spending, Wall St. reform has been a joke, big pharma is essentially a cartel, etc. I could never vote for a typical republican (Bush, Romney, Boehner) or a total moron (Palin) but I could potentially vote for an intelligent libertarian conservative like Ron Paul.

  • @ShaneSaw83 The reason is because "far" left or right people are the ones with actual philosophies. People who fall in the middle are just people who go along with the established system while people on the extremes have ideologies, and anyone with real ideologies will agree on some basic justice when it comes to Wall Street fraud or worldwide war-mongering.

  • I made a colassal mistake for not voting for this guy. I feel like a fool everyday for not going with my gut. IF he runs for president again I will not make that mistake again.

  • @floberg431 I agree... I want Mr. Paul as my President. I am posting one video every day on facebook. Will you join me in doing this? This is as grassroots as it gets. I'm just a painter but I love the Republic that used to be and hopefully will be again! It's going to take all of us doing our part!

  • Ms. Huffington made the claim that 1,000,000 children are going to school homeless as a result of the housing crash. I would like to see some evidence for that claim. I can't believe they just let that slide through.

  • I cant believe he could understand that woman....another plus,....he speaks Amerexican.

  • While I do not agree with Ron Paul on everything, I believe we all would be way better off with Paul as President. Getting rid of the FED and spending way less on our Military would save us trillions a year

  • @lisabob22 What do you disagree with Ron about? I have yet to find the man wrong in any of his philosophical beliefs which is extremely rare.

  • @residentzombie I watched all his speeches and interviews and NEVER saw a statement by him that didn't make sense

  • a bit low audio

  • Maybe because Ron Paul is so DESPERATE for votes -

Is why he turnes to the internet for drugees and US enemies and terrorists

  • the sad thing is, when some one with all the right thoughts comes along they are ether looked at like a nut or killed. ron paul is one and he is looked at like a nut by the old school people,

  • Bail out the taxpayers NOT the companies!!!!

  • The book is not "The End of the Fed", it's "End the Fed"!

  • Huffington is such an elitist twat.

  • Ron Paul is the man!!! Ron Paul 2012!!!

  • i don't agree with all of ron paul's policies but damn he is possibly the most intelligent person in government.

  • Sadly, the austrian economics also failed the Austrians as they in simialr boat as U.S. Ron Paul forgets that the Fed Reserve influences economics it doesn't control it. The Federal Banks and surprisingly enough the oil industry control our economy. Irresponsible business practices plummetted the world into another depression. Practices that his party, the Republicans endorsed and Democrats compromised into. He lies like a used car salesman.

  • nein nein nein nein nein

  • The Federal Reserve controls the economy through the set of interest rates and the printing of circulating money. The former sets the cost of money and deceives people into borrowing and investing when they shouldn't; that adds to the "irresponsible business practices". The latter controls the value of the dolar, the heart of the economy, through inflation and deflation. Pauls believes that corporations should be allowed to fall if they fail, as he rejects the idea of a nanny state for the rich

  • That is fine unless those corporations happen to be the 12 federal banks that are tied into our federal government's infrastructure, thus compromising national security. I guess paul was hoping for that, what better way in becoming a dictator or a tyrant of your own nation I suppose.

  • ur completley wrong.. he is a strict constitunalist. Your not an american citizen are you?. Please noone listen to this loser because he really does not know what he is talking about.

  • @Fireranger101 My family has been in Virginia since 1686. I'm also an Army vet of over a decade. I also have a BA, Masters and currently working on a PHD all in History. Ron Paul once argued Constitutionally that it is a state's right to secceed from the union and this was in reference to a comment by Texas's governor. There is no such right and was more than confirmed by 1864 at the closing of the American Civil War. Ron Paul=failure in constitution

  • Paul said that it was "very American" to argue about the right of secession, as the US colonies themselves seceded from Great Britain. Of course he favors States rights over central government, but I think he belives, law or no law, it is the right of the people of one State to separate from a destructive central government, given the fact that their liberty comes from God and/or by virtue of their humanity, not the legislation of the government.

  • Where is any of that written into the Bill of Rights or the Constitution of the United States of America? Under United Kingdom rules colonies didn't have a right to seced either, thats called an uprising. BTW, that same centralized Federal government was decided on by the founding fathers, whom Dr. Ron Paul says he idolizes but yet wants to break away from now. Do you not see the conflict here?

  • Also, how is secession American? Granted it was used to begin our current nation, however, prior to that the original 13 colonies were not a nation called the United States of America. A new statewide secession as sugested by Paul would utterly destroy the current United States of America. Seems pretty careless idealology don't ya think? Destroying America isn't American, considering how many people sacrificed for this nation alone. So just throw all of that away?

  • When did he say that he wants to rewrite the Constitution? He is so intolerant that he wants the states to decide whether or not make abortion legal, he is for the legalization of marihuana and for no illegal wars (invasions). He is such an "angry white man" that he wants the whole world to be free from US's military and political influence in order to decide themselves which way they want to live.

  • So I suppose states seceding and coming back together with Ron Paul's idea of a Constitution isn't rewriting it? Those words were part of his "discussion" over secession.

  • pause at 6:28

Arianna has the creepiest smile on her face when she says there are "over a million school children are going to school right now homeless"

like she has this creepy notion that its actually a GOOD thing, because it gives the chance for more govt programs... like shes salivating at the prospect of all those homeless schoolchildren

    shes a vampire

  • Ron Paul is the most honest American politician of our time.

    End the FED!

  • Except elections, but that is another matter.

    Ron Paul 2012!!

  • Ron Paul never loses.

  • Arianna Huffington and Ron Paul are my favorite extremists. I disagree with them on many issues but hey they care about the American people. And they don't use shallow baseless attacks like most partisan ideologues.

  • Everyone knows that this guy should be president. He just wasn't right man to fuel the military-industrial complex.

  • Great question. Why are the same people that CREATED THIS MIESS STILL RUNNING IT!!!! Ron Paul has been right from the get go! Ron I have been paying attentinon to that man since 2001 and I have learned more in that amount of time then all the years before!

I would LOVE Ron Paul to be President! I would do just about anything to put him in office!

    RON PAUL!!! 1212!!!!

He was right before and he is still right now!!!

  • @Foundingfatherfollow , unfortunately he wont win , because the forces he is standing against too strong

  • 1212? how old do u think he is???

  • What did The Federal Reserve and the World Bankers plan to go Right (for them).

  • stop war- mongering and the welfare state. those are good points.

  • Ron Paul can only lead the horse to water, he can't make it fucking wake up and smell the coffee and realize that the rancher has been humping the horse since day 1.

People are fucking stupid that's why.....that and they have been manipulated into being so fearful that they will very rarely stand up for what is right. Ron Paul can say it all day, and he has to in order for it to get through peoples skulls.

  • It's funny watching everyone in awe of Ron Paul. I think he is the smartest man in America. Why can't everyone embrace that?

  • This is proof we need Anarchy in the U.S.A.

  • Ron Paul is a president I would be proud of.

  • @SENTRY000 I would vote for Paul, but he is wrong on some issues, but right on the biggest issue of getting rid of the FED, spending too much on the military.

We would be much better off with Ron Paul as our President

  • As always, Paul owns the disscusion with great ideas.

  • I feel bad for Paul, always having to debate with demi-intelligents that only know half truth.

The questions he was being asked were all redundant because he had just given all the answers 3 minutes beforehand.

  • Old Torture Joe loves waterboarding and unceasing American militarism but feigns conservatism when it comes to economics, how quaint. Ron Paul may be the last true small "r" republican left.

  • Morning Potato Head--how do you get your head up Ron Paul's ass?

  • It is increasingly clear that even if we were never the country we thought we were, we have become a country of extremes...the "middle class" coming apart at the seams while the wealthy amass more wealth than ever. The progressives are determined to improve poor peoples' lives...who can argue with that? So the poor will be better off, the richest are better off...everyone else, which is most of the sheep who call themselves Americans, is worse off by the day. Depressing.

  • i was kind of hoping for more of a discussion between huffington and paul, that annoying host kept chiming in.

  • He's trying to wake y'all up before you really do get blind sided.

  • I hope Ron Paul does not wake me up with his nonsense about our health care system.

  • Isn't midnight a little late for you to be awake? Sleep child. sleep.

  • Those who would give up monetary soundness to purchase a little temporary credit, deserve neither soundness nor credibility.

loosely based on a quote by Benjamin Franklin

    !SPREAD THE WORD!

  • How could they put a mental and economic giant on with some cheap, $2 hooker of bitch?

  • I do agree w/ Sir Ron pual.. everything that had happen' was a deviation from the Fundamentals... due to their Unregulated GREED!!!!!! Jewish are the most power oriented people. My apology... i do firmly believe in the creed, First amendment founding document.

  • It's quite unfortunate that in spite of his interesting ideas, Ron Paul still manages to attract the extremist elements of the far right, whose dreams of eliminating "the government" haven't subsided one bit. How Ron Paul can get around this, I don't know; but it is important that he does, lest he were to become an easy target for detractors.

  • I agree with Ron Paul on so many things, but to come down on Keynsian economics is wrong. Keynsian economics works, our government is just bribed off by big business so they do things under the guise of keynsian economics when in truth it's just more shit for the corperations and rich.

  • you are right that what we do is for the benefit of big business, but the whole monetary system is based on Keynsianism- if the Fed doesn't give the low interest money to the banks and Congress, who is it supposed to give it to.

Keynesian econ can't work because it has a complete disregard for the pricing system; since prices convey more information than any individual or group can possibly know or understand, how can Keynesian spending work?

  • Keynesian economics can't work. It relies on the idea that you can increase quality of life by digging yourself deeper into debt doesn't work. John Maynard Keynes believes that inflating the money supply and creating false wealth helps make things more productive, but when the day is over, you still had the same amount of real money to work with. Check out Human Action Comics, issue 4 specifically. Google that, you won't be sorry.

  • that didnt make any sense man...the federal reserve has been practicing the keynsian economic practices of manipulation of interests rate for years now. If you study the views of the federal reserve chairmans in last 20 years, it will match up exactly with the views of John Maynard Keynes

  • @OgLoC2 That's the problem.

  • we must listen to ron paul, he speaks the truth!!!! welfare state must end yes, give to ones who really need it, but these bums that shit babies out just to live on welfare have to get out and work, and we must grow stronger in our economy, were sinking america!!! listen to this man. the media didnt give him coverage cause the special interest do not want him in cause he will CLOSE THE FUCKING BORDERS!!!

  • And let's not forget about corporate welfare and funding the military industrial complex.

  • china wants to end the dollar now and make it a one world currency . obama is weakieng the dollar now

  • Your statement sounds not only racist, islamophobe and stupid, but you sound like a Neonazi recruiter from Wheeler, West Virginia. I see nothing wrong with loving peaceful Arabs. I know it's hard to admit you are a racist. You are also wrong, we do give guns and bombs to criminals. Read history and see how many we gave to Saddam Hussein. Educate yourself you racist tool.

  • It is no wonder so many college age ppl are following, Ron Paul, the information technology travels so fast, you can dig up so many facts right off your cell phone, faster than a politician can lie.

  • why doesn't anyone listen to ron paul....and where did those crazy tea baggers come from???

  • those tea baggers are ordinary people like you and I, sitting home and getting pissed off at our government destroying our heritage beinging our country to its knees by weakening the dollar, and allowing illegals in here to steal jobs from american at a cheaper wage. Ron Paul will correct this but america sucked up to a black man and look what we got now???? wake up and voice your opinion !! on next nov. election for senate seat

  • He just lays it on the line, matter of factly, eloquently, and simply says it without skipping a beat, theres no time to interrupt him because he doesn't pause for a moment while speaking the truth he knows so well. We love you Dr. Paul

  • That would be amazing if he ran again in 2012

  • Although EVERYONE thinks they are rational and intelligent, I do not understand how the masses of this country can not understand the simple logic in his assesment. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Period. Has McDonalds, Walmart, and Playstation REALLY turned us into such a compliant society??

  • He's the Man!

  • he's the only person in Congress who is actually honest and wants to govern this country as it should be according to the Constitution and what our founding fathers had in mind

everyone else is either a far left progressive who wants the government to interfere with every aspect of the individual life and accepts the welfare society or they are mis guided Republicans who have succumb to the progressive disease, even if only a little

If the current trend keeps up Ron Paul will clean house 2012

  • terrible sound

  • Multi-candidate money bomb November 5th! Donate to your favorite! Includes Rand Paul, Peter Schiff and others.

  • The only guy who is not full of shit in congress.

  • oligopiry?

  • oligopoly. It's like a monopoly but with a few people or corporations run a market instead of just one. For instance 85% of sales in the music industry are received by only 4 different music companies.

  • Defeat Nancy Pelosi in CA 8! Support John Dennis for Congress.

  • Ron Paul warned of of all this back when he was running for President. All those idiots in the media and the Republican party just laughed at him.

Now these idiots are asking Ron Paul for his opinion.

  • Not Joe Scarborough; he had Ron Paul on quit a few times.

  • I wanted to punch Rudy Giuliani in the face during that debate... what a smug egotistical dumb fuck

  • When the revolution comes, I will personally ring my hands around Guiliani's neck and choke the shit out of him until his eyes pop out of his socket squash it and feed it to that satanic bastard.

Our liberties is not to be messed with, and if it is, it brings out the ugliest most vicious out of people, who are willingly to die to protect our liberty and freedom.

  • i agree, he wants to legalize all the illegal mexicans that live in usa now this will destroy our heritage, and jobs for americans.

  • I can agree with you on the jobs part, but heritage? what heritage? Beer and NASCAR?

  • @VERBALASSASSlN .....DemeoncRATS TOO DUMMY ! LMFAO@thisidiot !!. .AHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAAAAA !!

  • Poor Mika, she is Joes bitch

  • She could be my bitch, I'd hit it.

  • a little old...... but i'd do the same... lol

  • who? which one?

  • Short blonde hair, flower dress.

  • Did I just hear Ariana Huffington agree with Glenn Beck on Obama setting up an oligarchy?

Head for the bunkers, that's got to be a sign that the end is near :)

  • Ron Paul LEGENDO

  • Beware of those who warn whats already our concern, who disclose what's already made known to us, and who recommend drastic measures which cannot be realized. Those are pretending to be our friends while, actually, they are friends of our enemy with a mission to suck our attention.

  • Comment removed

  • Well, people like Ron Paul warn people of impending problems before it's their concern, and make known what those in control don't want the people to know... those are both opposites of what you just described so you can't possibly be talking about Ron Paul.

  • OK, I appreciate your advice, for I do not know much about RP yet. But, having much reason let me continue to be extremely careful not to be misled by false characters. Genuine anger may be a trait of a genuine leader who is determined to fight against such diabolic evils.

  • We (Congress) ought to:

    1. Obey the Constitution

    2. Live within our means

    3. Balance the budget

    4. Quit warmongering

    5. Quit the welfare state

  • Again at 4:14

  • Greater need for the direction of which you speak, Has never been since 1776!

  • I wonder how many of you have actually phoned and written your reps to urge them to cosponsor HR.1207 and S.604? Don't just get on here and post. Get off your butts and make the calls and write your letters. Please!!! Go to AuditTheFed(.com) for instructions!!! Let's put the pressure on NOW. The HFSC committee is scheduling a hearing on HR1207 this Friday, 9/25 at 9:00 AM. Contack CSPAN and encourage them to cover.

  • We need to focus on our senators now.

  • My senator is Arlen Spector. My focus is getting rid of him.

  • he's my boy

  • I'm so glad these views are starting to gain popularity in the mainstream. Let's just hope they aren't adopted and twisted by the same crooks who have been dragging us off the edge of a cliff for so long.

  • He remembers the day my ass. She also didn't even know the title of his book, The End of the Fed.

  • UNITED SOVIET REPUBLICS OF AMERICA.Communism is here and the people who will vote for it are here too. Wake up.

  • Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul have the real bipartisan consensus that could save this country from being bankrupt.

  • There must be some vindication in warning people for over thirty years, having them ignore you, and then, after what you warned would happen is happening, they FINALLY listen. I don't know how Ron Paul stayed in Washington DC for so long, but I'm glad he stayed, and I'm glad he wasn't corrupted as so many are and instead consistently held the same position based on principle and true economic understanding.

BTW - The book is "End The Fed", not "The End Of The Fed". Active, not passive.

  • Nice!!!!

  • RON PAUL DENNIS KUCINIC 2012

  • Ron just looks at the facts!

  • Wow the right is trying to hi-jak Ron Paul's knowledge?

  • Yes outlaw insurance. The way it's ran now it's a ponzi scam. Insurance Co's run our state/federal legislature. Mandatory car insurance never reduced cost that was promised. And now Obama wants to make health insurance mandatory? With fines if u don't get it?. Tax Credits to help u? Insurance gov and private needs to be outlawed. If we allow insurance it needs to be fashioned after Lloyds of London polices. Not where u pay for last years hurricane with next years premium. I voted for Obama. Sad.

  • I have NEVER seen government solve ANY PROBLEM. Its like they throw gas on the fire, then announce "it's getting bigger" and then call for more gas.

We need to OUTLAW INSURANCE. This is the only way to stop Lawyers and Doctors from owning us all.

Before medicare and medicaid, medical cost were reasonable. Do away with all mandatory insurance. And what insurance we allow needs to be fashioned after Lloyds of London where you don't pay for last years hurricane with next years premiums. WAKE UP.

  • Your argument uses essential the same of the Keynesians and the Federal Government of "Fear" if government did not act then.... A... B....C.. and D will occur which is a conspiracy built around fear and a fallacy.

A free market (which we do not have) "Always" corrects itself...not "may" correct itself. -- Look to the black market to see similar actions, which our our last free markets.

The governments actions did not save us from the Great Depression and Only prolonged it.

  • Patriot - NO. It is not built around a fear if, or a conspiracy. It was the reality at hand. The banks froze, there was no lending, there was nothing. Plus banks folded, no "fear if" there. The domino of collapse would have continued with no action, it was already happening and according to the economics of the situation would have continued. It was a house of cards and would have collapsed like one.

That doesnt mean I'm a fan of anything about it all. But Libertarian arguments are bogus

  • Comment removed

  • All they have done is allowed the house of cards to grow ever larger to crash even harder another day. The government, corporations and citizens in general have too much debt. We either choose to take the pain and liquidate it now, or we take on more debt and be forced to liquidate it later. Either way, we're in for a world of hurt.

  • Mika made fun of Ms. Huffington's pronunciation, but it makes me wonder if she herself knows a language other than English.

  • Comment removed

  • RON PAUL/CHUCK BALDWIN 2012 Bitchez!!!!

  • one last thing, if government spending is so great for the economy, why dont we just do it all the time? why doesn't india do it to bring itself out of poverty? why don't the countries in africa do it? wouldn't they be better if they did? the truth is it's ludicris

  • Cause we don't do it the extent that Zimbabwe did, hence we're not as fucked. Despite all the bailouts and stimulus, debt is still a small percent of our GDP.

  • Ron is right that the market will always correct itself eventually without government interference, but would you really want to see Great Depression #2 in the mean time? The economy isn't that bad right now compared to where it could've been had we done nothing.

  • The problem can't be solved if we use the same tactics to solve it that we've used for decades. We keep printing money, and instituting artificially low interest rates, and it keeps leading to these same problems. Essentially, the operation is always a success, but the patient keeps dying.

  • you don't know that. in fact, it was said that 500,000 americans would lose their jobs (back in january) every month if we didn't pass a stimulus. well we passed not only the bailout but the stimulus. In July, the job losses totaled over 700,000 and we're at a real unemployment of 20%. something tells me that the bailouts and the stimulus isn't doing anything of the sort

  • END THE FEDERAL RESERVE

Put Bush and Obama in jail.

Peter Schiff and Ron Paul for president!

  • What annoys me the most is when the buffoon interviewers interrupt Ron Paul when he is speaking.

Give the man the respect he deserves

  • I have to disagree.

Having watched a live broadcast of Morning Joe, I can tell you that the producers are asking for the interviewers to break-in and keep the program rolling.

Given the disrespect Dr Paul received during the primaries by Fox news and by Charles Gibson, I have always felt Joe and Mika have treated Dr Paul very well.

Joe Scarborough has described himself as a Libertarian, and became one the last couple of years.

  • Thank you for your work, Mr. Paul.

    God Bless You.

  • Ron Paul movement 2007-2008

70% broad mix of libertarians, liberals, independents, conservatives

30% loonies (no greater than ANY candidate)

"Tea Party" (Tea Bagger) movement 2009

    90% Reagan/Limbaugh/"conservative" zombies

Hypocrites, morons, and a sizeable % of racists

10% or less are TRULY concerned with fiscal discipline.

  • Too bad for us we are held hostage by the two party system. We would be a lot better off under him.

  • "Too bad for us we are held hostage by the two party system. We would be a lot better off under him."

A third party? So you WANT Obama to get re-elected huh?

  • i think you severly overestimate the amount of racists in the tea party movement...

  • Mr. Paul has such good intentions or seems to, but we are just debt slaves to these folks who pull the strings. Heck, do any regular working folks know about derivatives and credit default swaps or did they know about them before the crash? Regular folks really don't know much of anything these days and no amount of pointing out the facts is changing anything. I don't believe govt. cares how we feel about the consequences we suffer from their activity or what will happen to our kids either.

  • Just wondering where People are getting this Homophobic rascist Stuff from? This is a discussion on the failures of Government oversight, and the hazards of easy credit and fiat money. He also takes a few pokes at bloated Government spending. How is this Homophobic,Rascist or Crazy? I Just wonder if I'm missing something..

  • BrianMaki,

Ignore the inciters. Half of them are confused republicans & the other half are confused democrats. They don't know what to think. Their programmers don't talk about the Fed.

You know you're on to something when you've got A Huffington, J Scarboro, Misha B, & Dr Paul all in agreement. (the right, the center, the moderate left, & the hard left).

    End the Fed !

  • patriot. my balls your chin

  • how did you deduce such an assanine observation?

  • Just thinking from your comment that you'd be one of those that'll take nine in the ass.

  • a homophobic racist, eh? guess they sorta go together, like incest and being Southern.

  • penis

  • How could Huffington be allowed on the same show as Paul?!? She's a hack and a loser who knows nothing about everything. Really? Huffington? Why not Homer Simpson?

  • Newsweek is just ridiculous! They are the same people. tha's what i said, is a big job in front, nobody is gonna make it for you.Stick the adress i email them.

  • Ron should be our President.

  • yes he should.

  • yea

  • Newsweek mag did a story on who saw the crash coming and who didn't. They didn't even mention Ron Paul or Peter Schiff. I think we need to email them and let them know what we think of their story. Watch, they will suggest the same people who got us in this mess to get us out of it. They'll push Romney, Palin, Huckabee and Guilaiani for the repub ticket. Ron Paul/Peter Schiff 2012

  • this guy is a hero! you guys have a big job in front... all suport from Spain!!

  • He wasn't trying to cover up a solution. The federal reserve bank is whats changing the prices, the reserve bank is manipulating the economy. Once Obama gives more power to the reserve it will control us down to our toilet paper.

  • There is one beautiful truth: the less you allow yourself to be controlled, in the truest sense, the less you feel controlled!

  • 1:28 the cnbc guy is trying to cover up the real ways to save this economy, ron paul was about to give a solution and he is like lets stop here lets stop here.

  • Ron and Arianna see through the facade we call liberal and conservative. While we fight all day over petty labels, the banks run away with all the money.

  • I was caught up in the bluster and flowery speeches of Obama and voted for him because Bush was so terrible but I realize now...

... that Obama is the spokesperson for the very same banking interests and commercial interests that Bush supported. Different face, different race. Same assholes. Geithner, etc.

    Scariest proposition by Ron Paul:

the toxic loans are being kept on the books for the purpose of creating a worse situation

  • It's past time to kill the 2 party system that's failed us for over 100 years!

Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich are the only 2 politicians I trust anymore.

    WAKE UP AMERICA!

  • 9:57 "the book is called the end of the fed"

it's END THE FED you dumb...! you think she could at least get the name of the book right since she had no valuable input the whole interview.
