I'm no big wave surfer but I can see both sides of the argument. Could the geography off the coast of Mavericks not allow for a few jetskis to be out of the water on standby, ready ready to launch in the event that a bunch of guys get caught out and into trouble as happened here?

I totally agree, I love the fact that someone is dedicated to protecting wildlife in the Half Moon Bay area. Although I will never surf there they need to rethink the jet ski ban and come up with a more intelligent program that protects all wildlife especially humans.
