MP-201 Multi-Pedal - Basic MIDI Applications

I wonder what would happen if I plugged one of these into a Boomerang III looper. They say that Boomerang does not use midi through their midi jacks, but I'm not so sure about that.

soooo stop me if im wrong, i dont know shit about midi control n stuff but does this mean i can now plug my bass into this thing and control some midi devices with it like for example a slim phatty? that would be more than awesome :D

I am most interested in the combination of the MP-201 and MIDI MuRF. Are there any applications for the MIDI MuRF when used in conjunction with the MP-201 MIDI wise?
