They just don't have the economy, not even during the cold war could their economy match the US. Though the Russians maybe the close to the US technology, the PAK FA will most likely get sold to the Highest bitter like most Russian Weapons, due partially not only to their economy but also the Corruption in Russia as well.

From what I read the BTR-90 is barely being used, hardly the main russian infantry transport, but it does look like an awesome machine. I can see it doing well in dusty/sandy enviroments.

Also, the music really killed it.

the BTR-90 is barely used because its new. like the stryker. since 2003 the industry did not fulfil the army's order of 2000 strykers. relying on that number and the fact that russians have always been better in military industry, we can estimate the number of BTR-90s made. answer= MORE THAN STRYKERS.

I think, there is a possibility than BTR-90 will never become main APC for Russian Army, but it is perfect for Internal Forces.

And not because it is bad or something. But maybe because it is TOO good. Main goal of APC is more like to bring troops to battlefield and not really take part in battle. For that there are BMPs and BMDs available. But just for this goal BTR-80 is good enough. So, russian military command might think twice before mass ordering BTR-90.

AIM 120D dosen`t have sufficent energy to kill a MIG at at 180km. The F22 isn`t the only 5th gen fighter. There is the Su47, F35 and my fauvorite the russian PAK FA stealth wich can even beat the F22

PAK FA has already made its first flight. The upgrade argument is just another excuse people like you use to say that the f22 will be able to beat the PAK FA, but to me sounds like total bullshit. I know about the 3.3 upgrade and belive me it does nothing to ensure any major advantage against a PAK FA

Depends. In BVR combat the F22 everytime (not against PAK FA though), but in WVR there is a good chance, (as high as 50 %) that it gets beated by any current russian 4 and 4+ gen. fighter like Su27SK/30/35, Mig29OVT/35 etc
