very true; took Mikey a few years in the Ferrari before he started contending for a championship; I'm sure if he stuck with F1 he probably could win a few races, is that worth it? nah, At Le Mans, it's not about being really quick, just let the car come to you, yes, they need to dominate but driving F1 is significantly harder I think than sports cars in regards to the g's loaded. however, a sports car driver has to be out there for 4 hours. Audi + Schuey = Le Mans success!

Well not exactly great driving by the #51 either. He should have been on the edge of the track, since the widest line is the fastest. I can understand why Michael moved over, believing he had left a car width. How is he to know that the other driving wants to be almost an entire width off the ideal line?

Just a F3 hot shot not familiar with the great variety of talent that are present at Le Mans. Nothing strange or evil here.

agreed - the lane Mike was in before he crossed over was not going to get him into that corner, so like you said he slid over to make the corner at a better angle and didn't expect about the car next to him being there. it's a rookie mistake; definitely not cheating like TheFormulaOne2 is saying.

I wished we could have seen Mikey more at Le Mans - if he was fit for it, he probably could get a few wins - a good driver combo I suggest would be former Flying Ferrari man Michael Schumacher, Mr. "Le Mans" Tom Kristensen, and IRL's Spiderman, Helio Castroneves. All three drivers are greats in their series racing, have brilliant car control, and so quick. That would be crazy. It's Interesting dream lineup that probably never will happen but it was just a thought.

No it doesn't at all - it means he accumulated the most points in an arbitrarily determined points system. That's all - it doesn't in any way translate as "the best".

(Just like Senna was the best in 93 and 89 but Prost got the most points.)
