  • jurks. "disconnected"? You guys should know. LOL

  • werewrew

  • 100% of people who think they are "Job Creators" are not actually creating jobs

  • I feel very sorry for that congressman. I hope things turn around for him soon. It's a shame he has to sell pencils out of a cup like that.

When did it become socially acceptable to call a rich bastard a "job creator" anyway? Not one business owner on the planet is in the business of "creating jobs". If their businesses could be run without staff, they would be.

  • what did this guy say that was so bad? God forbig someone makes more money than you ppl

  • Comment removed

  • Berni Madoff was a success. - so was Hitler - he created a lot of jobs

  • Hahaha "Class warfare"

  • @gloxkk u stfu

  • Class warfare... Ha! Keep this shit up and eventually he and other corporations will taste the real meaning of warfare.

  • whole food, whole paycheck

  • Typical liberals.. $200,000 to feed his family includes his house, insurance, auto, etc. That $200,000 is for his BILLS. The remainder $400,000 he's talking about is for him to INVEST in his business. INVESTING in his business includes CREATING JOBS. You guys have to wake up and see the big picture.

  • @rozayneto Liberals actually pay far more attention to the bigger picture than you repubs ever do.

Do you know what happens when the middle class disappears and income inequality skyrockets? The economy collapses, people can't afford food and basic necessities, there's not enough taxes paid into the social safety net, and then you get revolutions not unlike the French revolutions of the past an the more recent revolutions in the middle east/africa. How's that for 'bigger picture'?

  • lets see the young turk makes five hundred thousand a year so he is in touch with the rest of us

  • i want to struggle on 2oo hundred thousand a year

  • Lose weight

  • That poor man i got an idea use his subway to feed his family heck maybe they will

  • The liberal sacks of shit are at it again. God forbid anyone in this country be able to keep what they earn. You guys are pathetic.

  • stop censoring!

  • THEY HAVE CREATED CLASS WAR! NOT US!

  • How the hell do you spend $547 per day on food? If you didn't eat endangered species roasted on solid gold barbecues ever day, maybe you would have more money to invest in your business, dumbass.

  • @zixus3 very easy, jay leno said about guy spends fifty dollares for dinner and leno say what the heck can you buy for fifty dollare in a restaurant . leno probably spends fifity dollars for his wine and fifty for the snacks before dinner. show how out of touch people are.

  • I believe this guy was misinterpreted a little. Theres a possibility he meant after 200k in expenses he has 400k left to invest into expansion. I believe this is a legitimate complaint. I dont think 1M is the right number to start. I believe Dems need to back the middle class more to earn their votes and taxing 1M or more isnt the way to do it. Can someone explain how the number $1M was reached? We need huge overhaul in this country as this is an hourglass economy. Taxing the middle is wrong.

  • $400,000 PROFIT + $174,000 congressional salary = 1/2 a Million Takeaway Every Year. FUCKING ASSHOLE! /whine "IT"S SO HARD MAKING 1/2 a MILLION IN PURE PROFIT A YEAR /cry cry/" I wanna kick this spoiled fuck in the balls so bad.

  • Somebody tell this idiot that reinvestment comes out of pre-tax income.

  • @coloradojoey maybe she shouldnt be a teacher. Just like lawyers, there are loads of them, pick a speacialty.... and this is a misleading tittle because tyt are a bunch of flamin libs....

  • In Denmark 400,000 dollars is roughly worth 2,216,566.50 kroner..

That's almost 2.5 million kroner. That's more than most people MAKE IN 3 YEARS! That's the pocket money he has left after taxes and after paying everything and after he's done feeding his family for 1,108,283.25 kroner a year (fat fucks!)...

If anyone seriously believes what he says when he says that he's "struggling" on 400,000 a year then they have their head so far up their ass it seems like it's on their necks again.

  • He should've avoided speaking about his income in public. Now all the haters start mumbling!

  • Yeah, what's with th beeping all of a sudden. It's annoying. Every kid knows all of the bleeped words by the first week they go to kindergarten anyway, who are you trying to protect?

  • STOP CENSORING!

    WE ARE ALL ADULTS HERE.

The beeps are driving me nuts.

  • @ojisama8 They should beep out all the commercials

  • @ojisama8 Im not an adult lol. But i dont give a fuck about curse words lol

  • Fuck that rich cocksucker. My wife is a teacher and busts her ass for 32k a year before taxes and health insurance and has not gotten a raise in 3 years due to budget cuts. Fuck these Republican motherfuckers You declared class warfare years ago. Bastards.

  • stop censoring

  • Funny she never brings up how much he makes as a Congressman, or the value of the 'donations' he gets...wonder why that is?

  • What a low-life, piece of shit scumbag. Another wealthy republican piece of human garbage. Wake the F*CK up America! The wealthy elite along with their republican politician slaves want and will create a corporate socialism where they rule and control everything. I could go on and on but whats the point. Americans are brainwashed by the republican propaganda machine. BTW, I am white, middle class, and with two income family we gross just a little over 100K a year. FU** ALL REPUBLICAN SCUMBAGS

  • bosses are people too. it depends what kind of boss. Not all bosses would pay their employees half if they could. If hes just your immediate superior in a large company your boss was in your position a few years ago. the only boss that'll be happy to pay ya half would be if your boss was the owner of the company.

  • There are more poor people than rich people. It's only fair we tax the majority of people more than the oppressed minorities. Besides, once the rich pay no taxes they will create jobs. Building yachts, waxing yachts, serving drinks on yachts. Of course the Messicans still get the gardening jobs.

  • Yea my dads are making 400,000 a year to. And we just manage to by. I dont know how we do it. Moron

  • What's with the bleeping? Don't censor the show, TYT!

  • I officially hate this country....again...my hate is continually renewed....thanks Republicans

  • FINLAND!!! Finland <3 TYT!

  • What! 6M dollars before you pay 500 employees plus other costs (including taxes) ends up 600 000 dollars? If average employee makes 10 000 /year (which is extremely low) the total salaries are 5 M dollars! Is there something wrong with my math? How the hell can you pay 500 workers with that kind of money?

  • @jzrantan the 6m includes the cost of products.that is likely 50%.my liability through turner agency only covers 4 employees and it is 1800 a year,i can only imagine what it cost to employ 500.there may also be franchise fees, not sure what type of bonds is required for him or license fees but city fees are even worse than paying workmans comp.him having only 10% left over may not be a lie.

  • Hey man stop swaring on camera makes you sound immature

  • He needs 200k to feed his family? What do they eat?

  • 29 people who gave this a dislike- are bosses!

  • $200,000 to feed a family? Must be eating at the airport and Disneyland snackbars.

  • $200,000 to feed his family?! Is he Mormon with 80 wives and 500 kids?!

  • If you want to get mad at someone that's rich get mad at the banksters in Washington who instead of going to jail for fraud or manipulating the market with congresses help they get promoted to advisor's in just about every administration.

  • These guys are retarded, feeding his family is a figure of speech. 200,000$ to 400,000$ isn't that much in certain states. For example my father who lives in California where the hes a Electrical Engineer who makes 110,000$ and lives in a small 2 bedroom apartment in Pasadena. Now hes a boss of a lot of commercial chain stores the profit he makes goes make into the business while the extra money is used to expand or improve. People are idiots getting mad over this.

  • What a cocksucker that guys is.

    Wes and Jimmy ftw.

Also wtf is this censoring curse words crap doing on TYT? STOP IT.

  • $400,000 a year? Does this guy have a paypal account or something we can send money to? I hate hearing about this kind of suffering.

  • If you keep censoring, I guarantee you will loose thousands of subscribers, including myself. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • Your boss doesn't fucking care about you ... so keep that in mind . If he could pay you half he would . When we are going to stop working for these greedy fucks we will have a better world .

  • STOP CENSORING! THIS IS THE INTERNET!

  • When did TYT start getting censored for curse words?

  • That poor, poor soul. I can't imaging only living off of 400 grand a year. I would never be able to heat my 2 mansions and fuel my private jet with that kind of meager pay...

  • If I was struggling on 400,000k.....I wouldnt mind.

  • He owns 55 Subway Sandwich operations.

He pays his workers minimum wage wuth no benefits,

Their take home is about $920 per month

I WONDER HOW MUCH THEY HAVE LEFT OVER AFTER PAYING BILLS?

  • The more I learn about this weasel the more I detest him. He has four children, the youngest of them is 22 years old, the oldest is over 30. Perhaps these layabouts are still being "fed" by Daddy, but if so, the fact that they can't get off their asses to provide for themselves should not be taken as a basis for national tax policy. And if they do in fact have real jobs and independent lives, then Mr. John Calvin Fleming is slinging some serious merde de taureau.

    "Feed my family" indeed.

  • Poor guy. My $20,000 I made last year seems pretty sweet now.

  • This jerk might as well have said, "Don't be hatin'!" While throwing hundred dollar bills around the place and flashing his bling at the camera like a rapper.

  • @EscpdFrmPsykward "U mad? U mad? Makin' monaaaay! U mad?"

How anyone living within the poverty bracket can even think they can find common ground with someone like this is beyond my understanding.

  • @EscpdFrmPsykward except unlike the rappers, he didn't come from a poor childhood, and doesnt understand what the poor go through

  • @ttzz2003 It's funny how people talk about entertainers not deserving their money, when a far greater percent of entertainers come from poor backgrounds than other wealthy individuals. It baffles my mind that, despite the vast majority of rich people being born into wealthy families, so many people continue to think that the US is anything remotely resembling a meritocracy.

  • @EscpdFrmPsykward Make it rain!!!! :P

  • Oh poor guy. Only 400,000 FUCKING DOLLARS

  • Nothing will change until the blood flows freely on Wall Street. Bring back the guillotines.

  • I always get a kick out of "job creators" that say the entire net income of all their businesses is actually THEIR personal income.

If you pay your companies regular expenses out of your personal pocket and not from a business account, you're a freakin moron just trying to hide your profit margins from the IRS.

This is why I'd be perfectly happy reducing the corporate taxes in exchange for increasing personal income taxes on the rich. You can't have both.

  • i dont even got a job because theres none hiring :/

  • His family eats $200,000 a year.

  • Sounds like he's created a lot of working-poor jobs. Unfortunately, his employees pay double the tax rate he pays, when taking into account ALL TAXES, and money available after buying necessities.

  • Comment removed

  • You don't have a Congressman a senator or police department because they all belong to the rich elite police puts our young men and women in jail to support the prison industrial Corporation they use our armies to plunder the world we haven't fought for freedom since World War II we only have mercenaries now that's why no one is concerned about dead soldiers the rich do not care about young men they will kill them for a profit

  • feeding his family is just a phrase.anyone who makes alot of money is expected to send every nephew and distant cousin to college, cosign and provide down payments for everything.there is no telling how many people he supports.i don't feel the least bit sorry for the guy but i understand what it feels like to make 3k in a week and owe it all through workmans comp, bonds, liabilitiy, and license fees.everyone who pays taxes pays enough.we don't need to pay more just so we can blow up iran.

  • @mrhockey50: What does give you the idea that the EU is collapsing, the biggest problems they have is the banks taking them for a joyride like they take us for years! Capitalism in its current form has failed us for 20 years, the problem is we did not abandon it, or reestablish the regulations that big money has bought out!

  • Comment removed

  • capitalism has failed. i wonder what comes next.

  • @RubiconJohn nothing comes next, you know why? Because capitalism hasn't failed, it will keep growing and expanding human prosperity. You know what has failed? Socialism, IE: USSR failed, Cuba is failing, The EU27 is collapsing (Ireland,France,Spain,Greece) - all failing, we are the youngest and most prosperous because of capitalism and our Constitution.

  • "This is not about me making $600,000 a year, this is about the poor being poor. Dirty things."

  • If this asshole gets another term I will officially have no faith left in the political system of America.

  • So, if he has to pay 5oo employees with 5.4 million, that's 10,800 a year!!! And he's only living on 600,000? He's the one waging class warfare!

  • "class warfare never create a job"

he's right, the Republican war on the poor and middle class hasn't created any jobs.

Bush's tax cuts for the rich, two unfunded wars, tax breaks for companies shipping jobs overseas and subsidizing the oil companies hasn't created any jobs---especially when they use all those expenses as an excuse to cut funding for things like education and job training.

  • I really hate how theses Republicon fuckers are always talking about "job creators" Spin that...we as consumers are job creators because we consume what is produced or are patrons of a service. You might also argue, we as workers create jobs because our work makes the business successful. One person can't perform all functions and if they could they would. What they will do is cut anything possible to make their paycheck bigger. How much is enough?

  • un bleeping belivable

  • Of course in order to be successful one has to hire a lot of workers that get paid crap. Ergo, in this economic system we have, not everybody can be successful because there would be nobody to do the work.

  • He's lying about how he needs to pay wages from the 6m that he earns. He owns 33 restaurants. If you believe him, that he only earns 600k a year, then you're saying that the owner of a subway restaurant, only earns $18,181 a year.

The only thing I can say in his defense, is that "feeding his family" is most likely "providing". So things like car payments, insurance, and mortgage. More then just groceries. He claims to be living off of $200k, which is reasonable when you earn over 6 million.

  • I would like to struggle on $400,000 a year, please.

  • @AtheistinFundyLand you heard the man wrong. He said he only has 400,000 to INVEST.

  • @AtheistinFundyLand: I wouldn't mind struggling on $40,000 a year, actually...

  • OMG! That poor thing, how does he get by?

  • Is he eating the money?

  • 2 part comment:

1: that representative is a greedy prick

2: FUCK OFF WITH THE CENSORING!!!!

  • Maybe this is why the Private Sector is pissed off at the high paying Government Jobs, THEY PAY FOR WITH THEIR TAXES.

Dude brings home 50K in the private sector, but supports a Cop who makes 100K at 50, in retirement.

    Sound fair?

  • If you work at a business with other people where you decide how much they get paid(usually measly) and you decide how much you yourself get paid(usually over inflated) well that's already class warfare. Taxing the super rich is like a small but meaningful victory

  • who heats pools in finland... we do ice-swimming!

  • TYT is censoring itself now? What gives?

  • @rushindulen maybe it's related to the merging of current

  • 400,000 -.-

  • The average person makes 40, 50 and 60k a year she says? Lol. Nonsense Id be ecstatic to be making between 40 and 60k a year....

  • He's having trouble feeding his family on $600K a year. What a pack of lies.

  • Lets just say for the sake of argument that the average house hold makes 50k a year. That's like 4k a month, my father-in-law is a general practitioner M.D. he makes 110,000k a year, he brings in just under 10k a month, meanwhile this jack ass is complaining that he ONLY brings home 6x that and of that money he ONLY has 20k a month to spend on food. This is just insane, this worship of greed has to end...

  • Oh poor baby! Only $200,000 a year? My heart just bleeds for him! Meanwhile I made around $5000 last year. But my heart just bleeds for such a man.

  • I must admit I've missed Wes' potty mouth.

  • So he opens all these stores and NOW he doesn't have enough money to open more stores?! Bullshit.

  • He's right when he says that class warfare has never created a job, but not in the way he thinks. Our country has hemmorhaged jobs ever since the GOP declared war on the middle class in 2003.

  • See these clowns must be joking..., How about the public don't patronize his product at all... Word on the street businesses aren't expanding, their sitting on their "profits" holding jobs hostage until deregulations & more tax cuts are surrendered... So while working class families lose their homes, we have to hear he's $400,000,00 a year broke... Did she just call this a-hole congressmen? As in a representative of the people?... As in I'm rich & I write government policy, You peasants!!..

  • He is a congressman? So on top of his income from his business he makes another 150K as a politician. With a great medical plan and fringe benefits. Not to mention the money he takes in from the big corporations.

  • I love wes! love love love wes. More wes.

  • Finland FTW

  • The Us has the worst politicians.

  • What's up with the bleeps?

  • That is an average of $190 per meal (3 meals a day) for the year.

Not all of us can afford to eat at Mortons every meal.

  • @spinnersmetal For a perspective on the high costs, he likely has a personal cook and helper.

He also likely pays them well.

So say $1k a month for the foods, 24k a year, then around 175k for 2 people to cook and keep the kitchen in order. The only thing i can think of.

There is eating out too. But I think $1000 a year can cover that and the food at home lol

What a life his kids must live.

  • Yet he wants to cut Social Security (18k a year)

  • @atosafi1 blah blah blah, the bottom line is everyone should be able to keep most of their money, rich and poor. The deficit should be balanced by cutting government programs and shrinking the government.

  • @chestveeg ...., If you believe that hogwash.., I got two tall buildings in New York City I'd like to sell you..., I'll show you pictures and everything.., Taking in less revenue is like taking a wage-cut while your cost of living goes up... Americans have lived on higher cost of living & cut /stagnant wages for a decade more now.., So we're closing shools, steal more SocialSecurity money, Cut off entitlements (U know their on drugs)... We already see enough is never enough..

  • @chestveeg The bottom line is that nearly everyone do get to keep most of their money, rich or poor. The bottom line is too that a large percentage of the ultrawealthy keep more of their money than poor people. Even with Obama's proposal to ultrawealthy will still be able to keep most of their money so your argument falls flat on its face. Yes, cuts need to be made but the ultrawealthy aren't paying their share as it stands today.

  • Poor rep. =[

I hope he dosent have to sell his private jets =[

  • @rudyblackbird Oh no... Don't even think it!

  • I have a 10K basic salary, I have to work my arse off to make enough commission to feed myself, which i can comfortably. I understand this guy earned his own money but making ignorant statement like "I'm only left with 400K" will just piss people off.

Also, YouTube doesn't think that 'Arse' is a word, I'm insulted.

  • tyt starts doing beebs now?! fuck that!!!

  • Hey,um,do you guys remember when that reporter threw his shoe at Bush?.....Can I borrow one of yours? Because I'm wearing flip flops.

  • The congressman has a point.

  • @chestveeg No, he doesn't.

The Golden Age of the West was from 1945-1973, and during those days the richest Americans paid 75-94% in top marginal tax rates and 60% of their income in taxes - did we become a dirt poor backwater nation? No, the world prospered immensely. In fact, profits were at a record-high.

Why? Because redistribution of wealth to the working-class through welfare and social safety creates security and increased purchasing power which leads to more profits for Corporations.

  • Maybe he should stop using hot dog buns made out of $100.00 bills for his hot dogs and use "real fibre."

  • The censoring HAS to GO!!!!

  • They really need to have Wes on more. I love his take on things.

  • Hey fuck yourself John Fleming.

  • "by the time i feed my family i have $200,000 less per year"

thats 200,000 cheesburgers on the dollar menu at McDonald's

    200,000/365 days a year/3 a day = 182.64 kids at home!

this dude must've done some serious fucking!! :D

  • He should try living on $15,000 or so a year working two jobs(which is what I have to do) on top of losing a home I lived in for 19 years with a mother who was on disability for 2 1/2 years because of 3 back operations. Plus a brother who was serving in Iraq during this whole time. This "Representative" can go straight to hell. What a Prick.

  • @Suprkit sounds like you should have paid attention in school

  • @givemeyourmoneynao So, you think I didn't get good grades in School and go to College(Which I did) and I just want to be lazy? Maybe you should think about how many people there are like me in the same situation, Mr. Perfect.

  • @Suprkit lol and how much government aid do you exactly get? Or your brother? Ur mom?

  • @mrhockey50 We don't get any Government aid. I get no deductions on my taxes because I don't make enough to get any. My mother was able to get disability of $1,770 about every 2 weeks. She had to pay Dr's bills along with the regular bills(Phone,Electric, etc.) My father passed away in 2005,so we were pretty much trying to keep our heads above water. I don't find it funny at all. I'm not living "High on the Hog" taking a Govt. Salary like this jerk.

  • @mrhockey50 We don't get any Government aid. I get no deductions on my taxes because I don't make enough to get any. My mother was able to get disability of $1,770 about every 2 weeks. • @Suprkit ok but ur brother has medical covered since hes serving our country... does mom have any social security? or did big brother gov't spend it... What about food stamps? It honestly sounds like ur well below the poverty line, which also means you could apply for welfare, but hopefully not to spend on crack! What type of education do you have?

  • @mrhockey50 VA gives him the runaround all the time. Thankfully, my mother went back to work and thanks to "Big Brother" I can stay on her insurance until I'm 26 because neither of my pvt. sector jobs offer coverage. From your answers it seems like you think it's a joke. It's not funny and until you're been through what I have, you should cease from commenting on it. I trust Big Government a helluva lot more than I ever will Big Business. I have 2 yrs. College so far.

  • @Suprkit yes the VA greatly mistreats soldiers with its poor medical care, it's really another reason you should NOT rely on or trust the government to supply our needs. You would rather trust big Government? Do you trust the Justice Department to be smart with your tax money? Because you might of heard what they spend on lunch over there, including $16 muffins. And did you trust Obama to spend $3 trillion that has created/done/achieved nothing?

  • @mrhockey50 Yes I do. You can type until you're blue in the face. I will take class warfare against the rich over hating the Government any day of the week and twice on sunday. Big Business is about one thing only...making money, and lot's of it. The Government is far from perfect, but if we spent more on people in our own country and their welfare and success instead worrying about other nations living in a "democracy" maybe we'd be better off. If weren't overseas because of Bush& Co.

  • @Suprkit first off i agree with you. The wars have been proven to be useless... let the arabs figure it out/kill each other off. I just wish the president you voted for would actually end our presence there, but Obama has instead increased the troops. Lastly, a government big enough to give you all you need-- is a government big enough to take all you have. America was found and is running on the ambition to make money,if you cant accept that then you and people of the like are not welcome.

  • @mrhockey50 The President is drawing down forces gradually, not just a "cut and run" type of plan. I am just as American as you are,so to say that I'm "not welcome" is an insult that was not called for. Greedy people did not start this country as you imply. This nation is about helping others, and should be more about helping the weakest in our society, not just making money. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

  • @Suprkit yea well in the mean time he has sent thousands of troops in. And you should finish college or whatever, because your history is weak and your vision of America is skewed. If you want a nation that spends it money on the weakest people in society-the people that don't produce anything- then as i mentioned before, Ireland/Spain/Italy/Greece are ready to accept you and your taxes! Note: All of those countries mentioned above are bankrupt and are failing. Good luck!

  • @mrhockey50 And you sound like a "heartless" individual. Seems like you want the people at the top to get the breaks and be taxed at 0%, while people all over America are paying for Wall St.'s mistakes. Europe is "failing" the same reason we're "failing", no investment in the right places. Trust me, I pretty sure I know what the founders intended. Since you know everything, why do you tell me what they wanted America to become?

  • @Suprkit Yeah, the people who started this country killed off the people who were already living here for centuries. Now, many people are railing against immigrants. I agree with your point but your country is not about helping others unless it is in their interests.

  • @jambykool Yeah, I knew that. That's my point. They were not perfect, and did not make a perfect system of Government. I guess I have a little more "faith" in our country's institutions and law making body than most people. Those who say "I hate Government" then get into office and get benefits and tell everyone else "Sorry, can't help ya" is just not right. I wasn't raised that way.

  • @Suprkit funny. this guy is programmed with excuses in his head if you ever interviewed him. Oh, not excuses that would justify him, just enough for him to feel satisfied to walk out. He's bringing out class warfare...what a complete joke. He spends $200k on feeding his family and $400k left over? And brings out class warfare? He's a total airhead.

  • @keenkennyny It's both sad and funny. Aren't many Republicans like that."Cut Taxes and it will create Jobs" "Keep Taxes low for the 'Job Creators' in America" "Reduce Govt. Spending and it will help the Economy 'Grow' at a fast/faster rate" It sounds like a load of Garbage if you ask me and I'm sick of hearing it.

  • ........wow..... Living off on $400,000 a year? Give that to a family of 4 who have to live off $20,000 a year. That's a huge blessing in disguise. For this fool to believe living off in $400k is considered struggling....amazing.

  • $200,000 to feed ur family? Wtf?!? Do they eat at 5 star restuarants for a whole year or wat.. Dam smh

  • He is such a fucking hick! Especially since on the screen it said 'tax hike for SUPER rich.' $600,000 a year is not 'Super rich!' Fucking idiot!

  • Wes is awesome...

Also notice they censor Wes, but not Ana or Cenk.

  • WHY THE FUCK ARE THE BLEEPING THE FUCKS OUT

  • Only 400K left over? My GOD he's on the brink of homelessness so lets treat him like the struggling American he claims to be. Surely if he's just like us he would have no problem being completely fucked over.

  • Repuplicans = Rich Old Emo Kids.

  • Would be nice to have to tough it out on 200,000 to feed and take care of my family. Might have to give up that vacation home with that low of an income.

What would Rep John Fleming do if he had to survive on a real working man's salary.
