Belly dance in Second life

I thought that was great, and I especially like it because of the effort effort it must have taken to create it, and I do like that song. She actually performs some belly dancing moves, and her shoulder shimmies aren't bad for an avatar! I also think it's better than some of the stuff off to the right of it here.

As a dance teacher, I find this painful to watch. Raks Sharki is all about fluid motion; this looks like a broken puppet. Maybe in another 10 years 2nd Life animations will get there.

What the deuce?! Definitely seen smoother animations in SL. The variety of movement is good, but it's way too herky-jerky. Not sure if this is a fault of the recording, or if the animation is really that bad.

In Second Life you can create the skin the hair buildings animals animations everything in the world of the game...if you have the talent... and sell or share with others I have my store in the game and exchange the game money to real dollars (but like real business it took me three years to have some profit)

In order to make your avatar dance (not only belly dance) you have to purchase the animations and not always the avatar can display fluid movements, the merchants who sell animations use "mocap" (motion capture) to create the animation and then edit it... for bellydance you have a limited selection of animations.

Second Life its a very ceative social game there you can create everything you can imagine a lot of people that play the game are artist musician architects etc... you can sell your creations. I create the costume she's wearing I have a store and sell belly dance costumes and other clothes.

@shasashu that is a game where people who cant face this real life...go to and there they can be everything they are not in realy life...stupid my oppinion..the game i mean... go and do some efford in real life and learn to dance like this ( even better this is not belly dance) and then go and show it...not do it animated that can do anyone..but learn it and learn it for like 2 yers and make a great efoord..and then show it..that is a bit harder...

@Enleuk i agree its really good animated..and needs skills to do it...but trust me to do this in real life takes a lot more skills..and its really a lot more how to say..my engish is not that good i cant express myselve on english werry good...but what im trying to say...is that when you learn this in real life its much more well you get more sadifaction becose you didi it and you manage to learn it...and dance it, anmiation can do anyone with a bit more skills.but to belly dance in RL..

@Enleuk yeah and do you see her doing shimmy?? no animated one cant do shimmy... she cant do it...couse that move im shure its not possible to animate....but in Rl it takes a long long time to master a shimmy...but when you do mater it..wow...it looks great...try to watch some real belly dancer ( Didem for example) and than tell me which one is better :) trust me real belly dancing is a lot more how to say...amazing than this :)

i teach belly dance now and i can make out fig. 8's, and hip lift walks and walk arounds and stuff. has better hand and arm movements than my students. for limited animation ability i thought it was real cute
