  • Or... The sun was in my eyes... The shoes aren't right...

  • keep pressing 6 to see a clapping monkey

  • hahaha train harder foo it is not flash photography

  • In a real sport you have to worry about getting run the fuck over by 300+ lb men, or running up and down a court repeatedly, or trying to dodge flying kicks and cleats. In tennis you worry about flash photography?

  • @notusedelsewhere1 I totally get what you're saying and you might not think so, but play a tennis match at night and yes you will be bothered by flash photography. It's all relative.

  • @ctoth666 Relative yes, but seriously, he's going to ask the crowd to stop taking pictures? That's a distraction at best. This person needs more focus. Would a basketball player tell the crowd to quiet down because he needs to sink this free throw? Or maybe special teams trying to calm the audience before kick-off? This just doesn't fly with me, not trying to say tennis isn't a sport, it's close enough.

  • SBAB

  • andy mad cuz he cant win grand slams

  • I understand Andy. At this level of tennis, every point is super important. And flash photography can distract you so much.

  • @phonebookmr funny, i didn't hear him pin his recent losses on flash photography during the video. what i did hear him insinuate was that it cost him that point...

  • you must not know when you play tennis your eyes is focused on a tiny yellow ball and that's the only thing your looking at then somebody takes a picture with a flash your eyes immediately gets distracted.

  • this looks morre like flash pornographyXD

    JK

  • @shea500 it does that's what i thought it said at first!

  • He's just mad that his tennis career didn't turn out the way that everyone licking his ass from birth said it would. The little matter of R.F. being a much better tennis player is difficult to get over I guess.

  • @canuck4life81 dude, he is a top ten player in tennis for a pretty long time, and i'd say his career is pretty good, and defnetly well payed

  • @canuck4life81 Shut the fuck up, Canucks fan. Your whole city sucks.

  • @canuck4life81 Canucks fan talking about the emotions of anger? Lol....

  • yea andy... your losses are from flash photography...

  • @phonebookmr i dont think you realize how distracting it is when it is taken from the front of you.

  • @phonebookmr his backhand must get shot with a lot of flash photography

  • Predator HAHHAHAHAHA

  • lol if john mcenroe was here, he would fight the watcher that flashed

  • To be fair, there is no need to use flash in this situation.

The area is well lit, wack up to 1600iso on your camera, add a

lens up to 3/400mm ... sorted.

  • America? Unclassy? Naaaaaaaaa....do do do do do do do do do...theme from "deliverance"...Maaaaarthaaaaaaa.

  • @1cme90 The Fans Of A baseball batter Are About 300 And Sum Yards Away A boxer Only Has To Focus A Couple Feet In front Of Him And What About A Wide Reciever on Run Plays What About A Quarter Back On run Plays They Block People Who Cant Make A Play Anyway

  • Andy Roddick is a very unclassy athlete, represents America well

  • @CFLNHLFIFAFAN So one person represents our country? That comment makes you sound ignorant. Just because some Americans are "unclassy" it does not mean the whole country is bad. Way to overgeneralize bud.

  • @MuzicXfreak

sorry your right Im sure there's millions that are nice, and your what over 200 million, so it's not like everyone in USA is like this, but I've being down there, and I'm not saying i don't like it there, but it's alot different then here and Canada, and yes I have a pretty good prediction of most american's not all, but Andy is defiantly different then most Athletes(usually from different countries)

  • @CFLNHLFIFAFAN The person who was rude and selfish enough to flash their camera in Roddicks eye so he missed the ball was the "unclassy" one. You just wanted a reason to insult Americans. Ignorant.

  • @FishcakeX are you serious! That was the dumbest comment ever, Roddick probably makes millions, i'm sure one missed ball isn't going to hurt him seriously, that fan who took the photo has it and is probably happy, and maybe I shouldn't have said those words about America, but seriously does America know anything about CANADA? We know everything about America and we support you guys and American's forget were above them on the map, but common, I don't hate American's, but I know how most live..

  • @CFLNHLFIFAFAN Wordings a bit offencive...

  • @DKMSMovies offensive*

  • @DKMSMovies Grammar Nazi!

  • @DKMSMovies Sorry you corrected yourself i didn't notice sorry baha!

  • @MetaliGrrl hahahaaaaa all good

  • @DKMSMovies

ok sorry didn't mean to get all of you guys mad

  • Actually it is really hard to play when their are flashes going on it is extremely distracting

  • Yeah, because players in the NFL, NBA, MLB bitch about the flashes from the hundreds of cameras...

  • Comment removed

  • @1CME90 i suppose this is not quite correct to compare tennis to those team sports, here u can only rely on yourself and got to be 100% concentrated all the time..in team sports you dont need to be that concentrated during the whole match, u can kinda rest at times, while your teammates are busy attacking, defending, etc...

  • @lolskix.. Yeah, because boxers bitch about the hundreds of camera flashes. Tell your theory on team sports not needing to concentrate 100% to a wide receiver in the NFL trying to catch a ball while running full speed with someone in his hip pocket! Or even a baseball player trying to hit a 100mph fastball while hundreds of cameras are flashing. How about an NFL quarterback that has 8 men in the box coming after him and he knows it then tries to find a receiver, does he bitch about camera's? NO!

  • @lolskix and on top of that the fans of a tennis game are much closer than the sports he mentioned

  • @smokinblu1... Yeah, because the fans are miles away when Kobe shoots free throws... Mike Tyson was blinded by all the camera flashes that were miles away and that's why he lost to Buster... Take a look at the Oregon Ducks football Stadium and tell me those fans are miles away from the field... I could go on...

  • wahhhh!

  • Shit i lost the point...

Umm...STUPID FLASH WAS IN MY EYES

  • Retarded excuse... xD

  • I WAS AT THAT MATCH

  • hahahahahaha, nice excuse... tennis players and golfers....stop being such pussies...

  • WTH...WAT IS HE SAYING

  • I say this whenever I make a bad hit. Even if I'm playing alone.

"Guys stop with all the pictures, it's affecting my serve..."

  • lol... i was at that match... i didnt even know y they did it... lololololololol

  • i bet Andy wouldn't mind if it was a hot girl flashin'

  • i know she was embarrassed LOL

  • oh y lol there was a huge shiny light

  • reason.com hahaha

  • Goddamn photographers... Bunch of selfish idiots.

  • @Quartrez

... and anyone who diss them is just retarded. If ever a photo put a smile on your face, think that someone took it for you, dumbass.

  • @DGrieux I mean people who use flashes in match, idiot.

  • @Quartrez

You said "photographers", moron. Next time use the appropriate words (and your head) when you try to express yourself in writing. Or when you try to express yourself, in general.

  • @DGrieux I said "goddamn photographers" Not "Photographers" By goddamn, you should've known I was talking about these types of photographers. Yeah, that's right, shut the fuck up.

  • @Quartrez

    Heh.. that's all you've got?

You should take full responsibility for what you said. And you said "photographers". Heavy usage of sub-urban language doesn't give you more credit nor makes you any smarter, smarty pants.

  • @DGrieux Dude a 4 year old would have understood what he meant.

Do you want him to say "God dam people who take photos in the middle of a match"?

  • oh look camras lets blame my lost point on them

  • I'm embarrassed for Indiana.

  • i was there and andy bitches a lot at that turney

  • Yes, blame it on somebody, just do it!

  • @dieguis12

    Glad that's over.

  • @dieguis12 who cares

  • @dieguis12 Cause that's never going to change ?

  • 666 likes o.0. The Devil is upon us

  • Actually I know a lot about photography. Sports as well. Ever hear the expression keep your eyes on the ball? What is this crybaby doing looking in the stands in the middle of a match? The first thing any athlet learns is to ignore distractions no matter what they are. If this jerk wasn't looking in the stands he's just making excuses. Everything this whiner did is bush league. Of course tennis is filled wiith crybabies isn't it.

  • @willieofroanoke Again, you can go to your local tennis centre, ask to get to play against the best player in there and then ask somebody to trigger a pro level flash at full power to your face and then you can see why he asks people not to use falshes... Also yuo have already given away your ignorance when it comes to photography, a flash still makes your eyes go "blind" even though you aint truly looking towards it. And even though he ofcourse kept his eyes on the ball you can't see if the

  • @4ka1video Cont.

photographer was reaching over the bars to get a new angle and by that way was in his sight, etc.

  • @4ka1video there is no such thing as a "pro level flash, at full power". Again you prove you have no idea. You are simply making lame excuses for what I'm guessing is your hero. The guy is a jerk. He needs to manufacture excuses for missing an easy shot. Same goes for "pro" golfers that bitch their asses off if somebody in the crowd coughs, moves, whatever. If you truly are a professional, such things shouldn't bother you. If they do, then your focus isn't what it should be.

  • @4ka1video That would have been a decent response if you hadn't said "pro level flash" (doesn't exist) and then started telling him about how he is ignorant haha. To both of you though, he doesn't want flash photography because he is playing at such a high level and he doesn't want to lose the whole match cause some idiot was taking a picture during a big point. p.s. some flashes can be really bright and can be distracting when hitting the ball

  • @Moddick2 Olololol.... All the flalshes they use in the studios are for amateurs? They cost like 1000€ each. And yes they are portable with batteries though I dont think the photographer was using something like that. Basically I meant that he/she was using something more powerful than the pop-up flash. And like you said it will distract you.

If you want to learn more about pro level flashes google "elinchrom".

  • Where do you kooks come from? You sure don't live in the real world. The point that zooms far over your head is these so-called "professional" athlets are in no way apprecative of the charmed life they're leading. I don't give a rat's ass about the claimed "talent" they claim to have if true or not. Today's athlete is more often than not poiled brats that whine at the slighest distraction. They should fucking growing up, bend down kiss the ground for the life they have, not bitch constantly.

  • @willieofroanoke a) You don't know anything about photography b) You don't know anything about sports..

If I fire a flash straight to your face with full power you really can't see pretty much anything for a while, and just to remind you, eyesight is pretty important in any sport.. So quit bitching about somebody wanting to be able to play a noble sport.. You ofc. can't understand this because you just troll on youtube 24/7 instead of leading a normal life.

  • Cont 1

Today professional sports has too many millionaire players that got it in their head the rest of the world should bow down and worship them and that they can bitch about what the fans do in the stands or bitch about conditions like the crybabies did in the NFL last night having to play on too hard a field. What the fuck indeed. These jackasses don't realize how lucky they are. If they can cut play a GAME, get a real job and actually work like the rest of us have to.

  • @willieofroanoke you don't make ANY good points. Why would they want to "get a real job" if they are making millions playing a sport they love? Wouldn't you? DUH. And you don't have to be a millionaire to bitch about wanting perfect conditions to play sports. You would know that if you played sports yourself. In this video he asked the chair umpire politely to remind the photographers to follow the stadium rules. The photographers are in the wrong here, not Roddick. You need to quit complaining.

  • Truth sooner or later ALWAYS comes out on top. Face the music, This video shows some primadonna acting out. A spoiled brat that's lead a life of leisure playing a little boy's game and getting rewarded with obscene amounts of money. If such a jackass can't handle a flash going off and needs to use that as an excuse for blowing easy shots maybe somebody should change his diapers because he needs to do a lot of growing up. Not just tennis, ALL professional sports today is infested with crybabies.

  • I respect Roddick's work ethic and his ability to stay in the top 10-15 for so long, but his attitude? Never really a fan of it.

  • Tennis players are the biggest jerks and crybabies, next are professional golfers. If you can't mentally block out distractons you're no where near as good as you think you are. I guess these morons forget it is the fans that account for the obscene prize money. If you idiots can't take a flash going off, somebody moving in the stands, coughing or whatever you clowns bitch about... get a REAL job, and work for a living instead of playing a game.

  • @willieofroanoke not even a smart comment dude

  • @willieofroanoke Fuck off with those comments. I don't even know how you managerd to get a comment rating that high on a tennis video.

  • Forget the flash photography what about that annoying frog croaking?

  • but some people are extra-sensitive to light, aren't they? it's not a problem of the flash, but rather that it distracts them and confuses them. they unconsciously react to it.

  • Is not the camera flash Roddick, you just suck =)

  • @borriguero 7 or 8 consecutive appearances in the end-of-year masters (you have to have been in the top 8 players for that year to qualify) signals quite a decent player I would say, as well as being world no.1 (can't get much (well any) better than that) and winning the US Open, is more than enough evidence to show your comment to be rubbish. I'd like to see you get to world no.1.

  • @BenjyT27 Sorry BenjyT27 that Andy is your brother and I offended your family. Obviously It was a joke, I know Roddicks achievements and I know he was #1 in 2003. . P.S. Who knows if I would have started playing at 10 like Andy + proper training I would be playing those Guys =).. Gosh don't be so sensitive.

However, I´m a big RF fan. Go now and suck the 20-2 record between them.

Don't even bring the 14 -7 record you are thinking right now. You are so boring

  • @borriguero Well obviously Roddick isn't as good as RF. RF is probably the best player ever. It just annoys me when people attempt to throw off world-class players as rubbish just because they aren't historical-legend status like Sampras or Federer. And no, if you had played since you were 3 you would never be as good as Roddick, or as good as Dimitrov or anyone in the top few hundred. To get to that level requires a lot more than training, it requires an amazing gifting for the sport.

  • @BenjyT27 You know what, you are absolutely right, either way you know Roddick is in the downhill of his career and probably will get his butt kicked by Soderling tomorror friday by soderling or by whoever he faces in the Semifinales if he goes through. I´m a fan of the sport, I can comment whatever I want. Btw its youtubee hello, the comment box is there for lovers or haters.

  • @BenjyT27 R.F. cannot be the best player ever if he gets beaten by Nadal over and over again. I'm not saying that R.F. isn't good because he is amazing at tennis, I'm just saying that he can't be the best player ever.

  • @yaytennis

    Then who is?

no one can be compared with him in achievements

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • what an idiot, how far was he from the flash ? 30-50 meters ?

  • I've never liked Roddick...
