i need help, i just bought blue rave contacts (blue coloured contacts that glow blue under uv lights) and i put them in, there very comfortable BUT, they dont stay in center of eye, they always go about 1 or 2 mm down, revealing my brown eyes, any suggestions? please help and thanks!

oh thank you soooo much for the hint on putting a drop of solution in the contact before puting it in, it helped sooooooooo much. I was getting very frustrated with my contacts (first timer) then watched this, got em both first try with solution and dry fingers :)

Hey could you help me?

I got coloured contacts today....but I have no idea what to do with them when i take them out!

I have a cleaning solution and the little case for them. It tells me to soak them in this for at least 6 hours...so after 6 hours do I just empty the cleaning solution out and keep the contact in the case dry? Or should I keep them in abit of solution to keep them moist until I wear them next?

Please help me asap. Thanks for the vid btw...you helped me get them in ;-)

@XxGlamourNGorexX it means soak them for at least 6 hours before the next time you wear them. after 6 hours if you still dont plan on wearing them just yet then leave them in the solution

I do, however, have a few questions for you :)

First up, when you put the contact lens in, are you inserting the lens directly over the pupil? Should you be looking at the lens when you put it in?

Secondly, if you have color contacts how should you store them? Are they also stored in those little cup-things with the solution? Or do you apply the solution only when you want to insert the lens?

It depends on the contacts. If you have colored they sometimes last about a month or two. But clear probably work for about 2 weeks before u throw them away but check with your doctor. :)

Don't you have to place the contact in your hand, pour solution, gently clean it with your finger, then place it on your eye? Without cleaning it, it leave alot of protein. Or is your contact special?

hey thanks for asking, you can leave them on for as long as u want as long as u keep them lubricated [about 2 drops every 3 hours] try not to sleep in them unless you have ones specially designed for that. YES you need to be aware of the sun, it makes light sooooo bright so get yourself a good pair of sunglasses! btw most optometrists give a deal on their sunglasses with purchase of contact
