To clear things up -- That specific prison in Cebu gives the prisoners the opportunity to volunteer for these dances and performances and such for side money, because they're not getting an income while they're there. It allows most of them to able to support their family with that money, and, come on... It's pretty cool (:

They are known to do the Algorithm March on peoples faces till they die. The number of gang members is over 900 and still growing there goal is to have the world do a single Algorithm March....

@DarthSatoris - this was the first one they did...no one really started paying attention until after the "thriller" video went viral...if a prisoner joins the dance troop he gets more time in the yard...that's a huge incentive when a prison is overcrowded and has major sewage problems...you might change your mind if the options are to sit in a hot, stinky, dirty, crowded cell all day or dance around to "radio ga-ga" and "I need a hero" outside in the fresh air...
