  • Sorry to bother you again BigDave would 2 SSD 18's be louder then a 21" ? thats around the same power range.

  • @Bryd3n 2 18's would be more cone area. If using the same power but more cone area in theory should be louder, but I dont know for sure because I have never heard or used any Fi subwoofer. The 21 has the cone area of around 2 15's.

  • @BigDaveIA Dont you ean it has the cone area of around 2 12's, or or more so... 2 10's? AND also.... if not...Why not.

  • which song is it?

  • @omairgeforce its in the title.

  • whats louder... a 21" IA DP or a FI BTL 18"

  • @Bryd3n I may be a bit biased but more cone area ftw....21>18. I would say the 21 Death Penalty over just about any 18.

  • @BigDaveIA such a difficult question.. cone area is always good.. but soo is power

  • @Bryd3n Power is not a variable in this arguement because the Death Penalty and the BTL handle the same amount of power. You can put the same amount of power on both, so in the end, cone area wins.

  • @BigDaveIA

The btl is rated at 2000 rms but when its fully loaded it can take 2400 rms. Not meaning to sound like a dick but i dont think at IA DP 21" would last very long on 2400.

  • @xBiGxKiNGx dont sound like a dick at all. Manufactuers can rate speakers where they want. I have put over 2400 watts to a DP 21 and it takes it just as good as a btl will, as long as its in the correct enclosure and its not "dirty" power, but that goes for all speakers. We rated the Death Penalty at 1500 watts because at 1500 its very loud and you run little risk of breaking it, plus we still have the Warden. We are actually considering raising the rms on the DP because of these comparisons

  • @BigDaveIA

do you know the like the design i would need to run a warden 21" out of? im looking into getting one in a ported box.

  • @xBiGxKiNGx a fully loaded btl can take up to 5k without being completely destroyed if put into the correct box.

  • @BigDaveIA they are probebly the same but bigger cone area lower hz response or lower freq

  • @BigDaveIA wat about a kicker solo x

  • @Bryd3n fuck both of them lms , solo x , or a mmats 18 btls slam but i think these are louder..and that 21 would need alot of airspace and a huge ass box..

  • @MrLj410 Your probably not going to find a louder sub besides the DDZ as apposed to the LMS ultra.. Im pretty sure the dude did a 161.8 with just 2 18s... I don't understand what makes a subwoofer so much different. But they did right. Minus the 1500$ for 1 sub part.

  • jesus christ that thing goes low

  • can u send me the link for that song? that sounds soo ratchet!!!! i love the vid famm!!!

  • Damn that sub is so sick, my dream sub right there.

    5/5.

  • Have you put that on the lab yet?? Im curious about what kind of numbers your putting up. Sounds REEEAAAAAAL loud. keep it up

  • So what is actually rattling?

Is it the car, the box, or the sub itself?

  • @damstachizz maybe the sound is the air from the port, maybe.

  • so what hits harder, the 12, 12s or the single 21"

  • The 12 12's are louder but not by much.

  • ive never actually seen anything bigger than 18's in person. My 18 hits so i cant imagine the lows on that beast! 5 for ya

  • i would except for the fact that I already took that speaker out, strengthened the roof to unnatural proportions, and put the 12 12's in. The 21 broke the brace in my roof. I repaired it and put second skin damplifier and spray foam all in the roof.

  • thing knocks you should get a flex vid

  • sweet 5 star from me pal like to see 2 in there
