@TarutaruEater Dude you do NOT want to play it again. It's not the same game anymore, everyone is level 95 and all they do is Abbysea. Literally Abbysea is the game now. The good times in this game are well and done I assure you! All starting towns are ghost towns and it might as well be a single player game.

Eh, I know that it kinda sounds great and all to merge a server, but those 2 individual servers already have people who have established groups and friends, and in the end it just means more competition. good way to see some new faces though I guess. Keep in mind, when I posted that comment, it was around the BIG hype time when everyone was speculating about it, and it was a reoccuring topic in FFXI chat..

If any relation its wow releated to ffxi since ffxi came out first. They are related as theyre both mmorpg but each has its own theme and way of playing. Before wow this was the most played mmorpg and even now its still quite popular.

If your saying WoW is related to FFXI then because FFXI came out first wouldn't you also be saying that EQ and EQ2 are what FFXI is related to more so? Thats the longest running MMORPG I can remember and my personal view is that both of WoW and FFXI seem to use very similiar designs to that used in EQ. Seems to have set the standard in my views as I've gave them all a try.
