  • my, my Yanghaiying, you are making a mess aren't you. LOL!

  • i remember when i was much younger, i put blue food colouring in my mum's flowers (which where flawless white!) - and u guessed it... they turned blue!! that was my first "scientific" experiment :D never fails!

  • ha!

  • At 00:47-00:50 there's a little hitchhiker on the right side of your cauliflower by the way. :P Look carefully.

  • have you tried celery? that's always cool

  • I imagine it very very effective.

  • No, they do not sell colored food. The bio science use in the real production is way complicate and advance than my test.

I conclusion is that the bio/agriculture scientists are doing wonder in improving our life. What they are doing is not to be achieved by a family kitchen.

  • I'm minoring in art history and what the artists try to convey by using sociology, psychology, philosophy, religion, and politics attempts to improve everyone's life.

  • whoa, you are so deep. I need to check dictionary for each of these words.

  • Well where bio/agriculture scientists improve our lives with food, philosopher's, etc., improve our lives with wisdom. I'd like to one day study Chinese philosophy.

  • Can we learn wisdom?

  • Yes, through experience.

  • I think the main reason why you can't get it to absorb the color is that califlowers (bloemkool) are very dense. So yeah, the only place where the blue color can spread is on the outside.

  • It would be fun to do this with briliant Yellow ink.

Then after 36 hours, put it into deep red ink. Heh! I wonder if the draduation would be orange??? As it pushed out the yellow colouring to make way for the red? I am curious now.

  • I would not continue with califlower. It is not very visible for the color change. Flower will be more evident.

  • :o) WHAT a strange thing???

I do not know why you did this, I feel I have missed something. But its alot of fun. I was completely curious. Hah!

I once put a ChowChow fruit in a big glass of water and it grew a vine over 12 feet long out of the top. :o)

    I love your curiosity.

  • All came from I bought colorful califlower . Some people say it is colored. So I try to see it I can color it.

It did not work. Now I know that is comes from hybrid of different color califllower and evoluted.
