  • They are both amazingly funny shows. Quit squabbling like 4 year olds over bullshit semantics. You would have to be ignorant to not like either show.

  • which episode is this

  • Called Business Ethics i think, season 5

  • Dwight Schrute is Hilarious....

  • I actually hated the original office, way too dry. Just sucked all the humour out the room.

    The remake is actually funnier.

  • Okay..I'm a limey..and have seen BOTH now...to 'hate' the original is a LITTLE bit excessive! Bottom line, to me is that British and American humour have become closer over the last decade...when they weren't before. The (uk) Office is derivative of Spinal Tap and to a lesser extent Larry Sanders..then came (uk) Alan Partridge...then The Office and Arrested Development. The original is more subtle..but if you hate it, you still have to 'thank it' cos this remake wouldn't have happened otherwise.

  • There seems to be two branches of American humour on Television at the moment.

One branch - shows like Arrested Development, 30 Rock and The Office. You've gotta think a little.

The other branch - you're typical generic crap like "Two and a half Men" - fits with the other crap like Everybody Loves Raymond. Lowest Common Denomenator type stuff.

  • And the old one is funnier if you are an arrogant know all with his head up his ass.

  • or how about the quality of the remake and the original aren't affected by bitchy fans?

  • Or snide side liners.

  • you're absolutely right. the quality of the shows have nothing to do with me either.

  • lol..mixing star wars and lord of the rings.

  • lmao that was hilarious. jim is so cute =]

    y couldn't Dwight talk?

  • He was timing Dwight for every second he didn't spend working after a meeting about business priorites. =3

  • Dwight said he never wasted time at work

  • this is the best show on tv right now

  • I feel like such a geek for understanding and laughing at this.

  • best. scene. on. television. ever !!!

  • The office is the best show ever made, and my rescue this cold and rainy day..

  • Had only ever seen our Office before....this IS very amusing...will probably watch it now.

  • Poor Dwight...

    so easy to mess with.

  • Ahahaha, that was great. I love BSG! The re-imagined series, anyhow.

  • that doesn't sound right.....

  • "Dumbledore Calrissian who has to return the ring to Mordor." Best line ever.

  • this is the best scene so far in season 5

  • By the way,the remake sucks. The original is still good.Hey Universal, let us see The Second Coming on DVD.

  • The original is a goofy dumb joke of a show. Bad for its time, even worse now.

The remake is the best sci-fi show ever made, and one of the best dramas ever made as well.

  • actually it doesnt suck..lol..you probably just dont understand it

  • Dumbledore Calrissian who has to return the ring to Mordor.

    wow! i love this!

i feel his pain, i really do. except i don't watch Battlestar Galatica. instead, i read books and if someone messes up on describing any of the books (mostly Twilight, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings) i would be all over them ^_^

  • oh, totally the same. if someone says a wrong thing about harry potter, i will totally correct them and be an ass about it.

  • I feel Dwight's pain

  • "Dumbledore Calrissian" lol

I love the Office and BSG; much love for this scene!

  • ROFL anyone who favorites green day and nickelback videos would have terrible taste and wouldnt know a good show if it sucked on your balls

  • Perfectly written (although luckily for Jim, Andy wasn't quite familiar with either version of Battlestar). Love Andy's acting in this scene too. And c'mon people, it's "Calrissian." What kind of nerds are you? Hmph. Now I need a glass of Colt 45...

  • Classic. My favorite moment in this episode.

  • yea this episode and the baby shower one sucked i thought, hopefully they havent lost their touch

  • funniest thing ever

  • I love how Jim is just a big of nerd as Dwight, because he is obviously able to reference all of the stuff. Best part of the episode!!

  • This scene must've been so much fun to make. They had to have known it was gonna be a huge laugh for us. Great stuff. I love Dwight crunching the paper, we've all been there.

  • Probably the best scene in the history of television.

  • I would have gone off too.

    XD <3

  • i would have gone crazy XD

  • HAHAHA crumpling the paper, I know how that can be.

  • I love Andy's "That doesnt sound right..."

  • frick. soooo funny.

  • dumbledore! ahaha

    wookies! haha

    wow this is hilarious

  • Dumbledore Calrissian!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!! This is the funniest shit ive ever seen!!!

  • Classic, the funniest part of the whole episode!

  • this might have been the funniest thing on the show ever, and that's saying a lot...whichever writer came up with Dumbeldore Calrision deserves a fat bonus...

  • By far the best scene in the last 2 seasons.

  • yes! i loved this thanks for the vid!

  • I thought "bears, beets, battlestar gallactica..." would forever hold the spot as the funniest scene in office but this very well might trump it. Brilliant.

  • utter brilliance, Dumbeldore Callrision :)
