  • Kay Thompson had something to do with the musical arrangements?

  • OMG! absolutely brilliant!

  • This films deserves to be rated 4 stars by TCM.

  • Aww! One last kiss! :D

  • Mister Fred Astaire c'est la trés grande classe!!!

  • i love judy but i am glad she couldn't do this film! this was MADE for Ginger!

  • Plus, Ginger can dance her butt off and she's a wonderful actress and singer. I'm so happy whenever I see Fred and Ginger together! They were true legends and Hollywood couldn't have brought any other two people together who weren't any more perfect for eachother than these two! Hats off to Astaire and Rogers!

  • Judy Garland was originally supposed to play opposite Fred in this movie but she was fired because she didn't show up. She was going through a tough time. She got fired from alot of movies during the late 40's. But I'm actually glad they put Ginger in this role. Who knows if they would have ever paired up again after the 1930's if it weren't for this movie. Fred and Ginger are a perfect pair. In my opinion, Fred's other leading lady's just aren't as graceful and eccentric as Miss Rogers.

  • I LOVE how when she dances she uses her strength and doesn't use him to help her dance, most women today lean on the men, she barely touches him, or takes her hand off him completely. It proves she was one hell of a dancer, solo or no :D

  • Great, thanks.

I wish some one would place "You'll be Hard to Replace" from "Barkleys" on Youtube. It isn't one of their great dance numbers, but you won't find a sweeter three minutes of film anywhere.

  • @JayPhilosopher How about "They Can't Take That Away from Me" from the same movie? One of their best dances together.

  • @kbrdmn2 Absolutely.

  • @JayPhilosopher its on youtube now, but how long it stays is anyones guess!

  • Clip without credits on top is from That's Entertainment [Part III, I think]

  • This dance performance was the culmination of a long career of incomparable "Fred and Ginger" - so perfect !

  • God she was so awesome. The picture of grace and golden hollywood!

  • Their electricity lost in Barclays? I think not.

  • I LOVE THE ENDING!!

  • A musical gem, that's really what it is - Ann Miller was right! :-) One of my favorite Astaire & Rogers dances!

  • I'm so happy someone finally posted this without those darn titles obstructing the view. Fred and Ginger look like they were having so much fun dancing together again. Love it!
