  • Awesome shots! Perfect lighting! Love this whole thing, but especially, the shot staring at 4:07, just a stunning shot! The huge smoke plume, the way they kicked on the cylinder cocks so it looks like they are going out of a fog filed river valley, priceless! Great job!

  • @trainlover765 thanks, it had just stopped raining at 9:30 in the morning, the air was very damp

  • The stack talk sounds like gunshots.

  • Totally Awesome! My dad and I rode 765 in the early 80's when she came to Buffalo, NY. It is great to see her still running and in top shape. Can you share with me information on how to find out about her trips? I would love to bring my elderly dad out to see her!

  • perfection

  • amazing video!

  • Awesome job!!! 5 Stars!!!! This is by far the best video of the 765 I've ever seen. I Favorited it and Subscribed. Perfect quality too. It looks HD in 360p!!!! I must know what kind of video camera you have. Keep up the great work!

  • Gorgeous. Beautiful. Excellent job. I subbed.

  • A most impressive video. Your camera really captured the sights and sounds of 765.

  • This video is awesome! Just 100% perfect. I can't wait to go see her again next year!

  • @CSX6000 thanks a lot, there are still 4 trains this weekend

  • @dferg100 I know but I live near Philadelphia. I wanna come out to see the ferry move and spend the first weekend at the CVSR.

  • Man that's beautiful. She really barks when you put the spurs to her. And whoever is doing the firing really knows his stuff keeping the stack that clean under power.

  • Stack Talk!!

  • Really great shots! I've got to break down and get me a tripod... All of my videos are WAY too shaky. Thanks for sharing!

  • This is a question that maybe my fellow railfans can answer, but does anyone know if the second tender on the locomotive (seen at 1:07) has any specific name? I've seen tenders like those on other locomotives, I just don't know exactly what they're called.

  • Stussmeister , the Aux Tender is on lone from Ross Rowland , it's the one that goes to C&O 614. The Aux tender is a Ex. L&N .

    Hope that helps.

    Len.

  • @Conrail6370 The one that goes with 614 is still in Clifton Forge. I thought that was one of the ones NS used during the Steam Program during the 80s?

  • Stussmeister , I got my information confuse . this tender is from N&W 611 .

    sorry.

    Len.

  • @Stussmeister It's an aux. tender. Used to carry extra water for longer trips as its rare to find a water tower in most places. Most you see these days are converted normal tenders, but some aux were specifically made to be aux tenders. This one specifically was one of the ones used by NS during the Steam Program in the 80s

  • @yerkees9891 Hi guys, I am building a HO model of the N&W in the 50s. The water tenders on the Y&A class look a llitte differnt, no hand rails on the end and the water hatch is bigger

  • @yerkees9891, thank you for the information!!

  • absolutely amazing,great job!!!!

  • Where does the scene that starts at 3:04 and ends and 4:05 take place? Is this a run-by near Northside station prior to departure? Or is it in Peninsula? I would like to be at that spot during one of the runs. What time is the train there relative to departure from Northside?

  • @MNetworkVideo This is a Peninsula run-by, about 1 hour

  • Really nice. Thanks.

  • Superb video! Great quality!!!

  • Low turnout? It was a decent turnout. Next week should be better because of total track tour.

  • @Kleman09 We're only a week out from the total track tours and there's still roughly 290 tickets still available for coach seating on both days. Hopefully more will sell. Last year's sold out if I recall correctly. I think if these trips had been announced sooner ( as in more than a month ahead of time) they'd have a better turnout with people being able to plan vaction days.

  • @Kleman09 low turn out of railfans, train riders looked decent. Bad weather

  • Great vid!

  • Great video, Such high quality also, What type of camera do you use?

  • @ohiosouthern just bought a Canon HF G10

  • @dferg100 Thanks for the reply, I have been looking for a new camera and this picture is just great! So you used the Canon HF G10 to shoot this?

  • @ohiosouthern the G10 is very good in low light, some of these scenes were shot in very cloudy skys

  • man i cant wait for next week
