The FBI confiscated over 30 videos of the flight wich hit the Pentagone. If they wanted to shut our mouths about the conspiracy, why wouldn't they simply release the videos to the public?

In the months following 9/11 I listened to NPR "Morning Edition" daily. In December of that year, they reported that Osama had died in a hospital in Pakistan.
I never heard a follow-up story or a correction.
Has anyone else heard credible news sources reporting this? There are other examples of news stories that should be big. They get reported once, then forgotten.
