  • Hi Kim,

I also like your drawbar settings on this clip. Your performance and the Nord C1 sounds great as usual. I have just got high speed internet and I see you have plenty of clips to keep me busy. I have view several of your clips with dial-up but I like to watch them over and over. Thanks for posting your videos. Joe

  • Thanks Joe,its alot better with high speed internet.

    Regards Kim

  • Hi Kim,

I played at a corporate gig at the weekend on the Nord and it went well but I felt the Nord was Bassy and I usually have my EQ flat, my drummer suggested it didnt have enough treble.

Can you tell me how you have your EQ on the Nord and the Mixer?

I like the sound on this track it's quite 'toppy' what were your settings?

    gary

  • Hi Gary,

I had the eq flat on the mixer and just added a little treble on the nord.

My emx68s powered mixer was slaved into a mackie mixer into a pair of active mackie 450s.

I think the drawbar setting was 888000007.

I find when i play out the nord has more than enough treble.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards Kim.

  • Great idea to have a live recording! Amazing that your sound is created by that little 35Lbs/15Kg Nord C1!

I assume You're not missing a real Hammond B-3, weighting in at well over 400Lbs/190Kg, too much when out on gigs :-)

    Keep swinging,

    Rounder

  • Hi Rounder

It was great to play with the band. The Nord C1 did a great job and the recording was only in mono from an old super eight vid cam.

    Best regards Kim
